They came out to look at it three times and it still isn't fixed. They tried to blame it on the location of my drain pipe. A pipe that has been in that location over thirty years with no issue. The tech that said this was yelling so loudly that my neighbor could hear him and called me. I never raised my voice or talked down to him in return to his rudeness. I did roll my eyes (bc they have been here three times) and the tech said "don't you dare roll your eyes at me while I'm speaking to you." I reported him to the company and they sided with him and his verdict. They offered to come out and look at it a fourth time but I'm honestly worn out dealing with this company. Horrible service and I'm out $350 for nothing!!

I called to explain my issue and the young lady that took my call was super nice and helpful. She explained the service call process fully and their expectations with payment very well. The service tech/owner, Bill showed up within the quoted 3 hour window that included a heads-up call prior. During his visit he was very thorough with his triage and diagnosis. Bill explained the problem in easy to understand terms yet expressing his knowledge of the machine. Type There ended up being quite a few items wrong with the Maytag. He quoted a very reasonable labor rate but the parts and shipping of those parts together were more or as much as a new machine. While I'm sure Bill would've liked this revenue, he recommended that we buy a new washer and not make the investment in repairing this one. I certainly appreciate the honest all around work that Bill and his team performed. They truly understand what a good business model is. Sometimes that means not making anything in the short term. I admit I was in a bit of a panic and texted William, and even though it was Saturday evening, he answered me, assured me the issue didn't seem dire after unplugging the stove and scheduled a visit for the following Wednesday. He met my husband at our duplex when he said he would, and come to find out, rodents had made a nest in the stove (I don't think it had been used in a bit). They provided me with a 4-hour window of when they would arrive, and called ahead of arrival. I have a 12 year old front load washer that had error codes which I provided to them on the initial appointment set-up call. The drum was spinning and the machine was draining, but not truly washing the clothes and spinning all of the water out of them. William arrived within the scheduled window of time, immediately began testing the washer, and within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem with my machine, the motor needed replacing. I could actually hear the motor and it sounded very poorly when it was running. Also, the interface needed replacing as well. William provided me with the cost of the motor replacement, and alone it would be over $500.00. He advised me that it was not worth repairing and I would be better off purchasing a new washing machine. William explained many different options to me, and was very helpful. He even provided me with detailed advice regarding new washing machines to purchase and where! He also looked at an old dryer I had not used in over a year and diagnosed what I thought was the heating element gone bad. Quoted me a price on repairing it as well. If you are looking for it and GPS is failing you, it's at 2000 spring street. There are a bunch of cars/service vehicles parked out front and you can see some appliance hanging out near the back of the lot. The only formula sign you know you are there is because the mailbox has "2000" listed on it. Once you park up walk on back to the only door that makes sense. Again, there are no signs... It's a family business and the lady that showed me around was friendly and inviting. She gave me the run down of the inventory. Apparently the washer/dryers move fairly quickly. Most of the inventory were top loaders between 3-10 years old. Some scratches and minor dents, but all are tested and repaired by their mechanics before being put on the floor. So it's better than craigslist as you know they've been looked at. They also come with a 30 day warranty. I went Saturday morning and they delivered the same morning. Friendly delivery man. I had made the horrible (yet apparently not too uncommon) mistake of buying the electric dryer when in fact I didn't have the 220V hookup. I thought I was going to have to return the whole set. To my pleasant surprise the delivery man made some calls and the company was able to get me a matching gas dryer (new, minimally dinged up) for a discount and deliver it by lunch. Apparently they have another location with some more inventory. This was all pretty great service. Highly recommend if you are in the market for some fairly priced used appliances.
