A must-visit for every trip to Miami. This is another vegan hot spot that I have watched grow over the years since I moved to South Florida. The staff is always so welcoming and pleasant I hardly want to leave after my meal. The quaintly sublte but tastefully decorated shop has also expanded into the space next door to add more tables for the restaurant. I'm glad the VTE breakfast sandwich has remained a classic menu item as it is one of my favorite to-go meals. I also have to mention the beautifully crafted desserts and pastries that are always available as well. I can never walk out of the restaurant without at least three of their delectable treats. I hope they are able expand to the Palm Beach area soon!

A quick update... went back for their cookies and doughnuts. Doughnuts sold out. Worthy!! Cookies I got!!! Delicious. Grabbed a candy cane macaron on way out and was disappointed. Great texture, but overly sweet with no flavor. I'll stick to their doughnuts and cookies. Can't go wrong. By the way, server is great but she was overwhelmed trying to take orders and make coffee. Kindly look into some backup for her on busy days. Several people had to walk out of line, due to long wait. She is great, but busy.

First impression was a very nice presentation However the pastries lacked a flavor depth I expected flaky butteriness in the puff pastries The one Macaron we sampled was extremely sweet which made it hard for us to finish We ordered a couple drinks as well but were disappointed the chai latte was practically mylk alone Overall we payed nearly $60 for the 3 pastries and 3 drinks so it'll be sometime before we consider returning

Located right inside the entrance is Julia and Henry is this bakery filled with beautiful looking donuts and pastries. Each item in the case looks more beautiful than the next. We ordered 2 donuts and a croissant to try a few things. Everything looked 5 out 5 however when it came to taste something was just off. The Boston creme didn't taste quite as expected. When we were digging into the pistachio raspberry donut another customer had one next to us and we heard them mention the word vegan. Suddenly we felt like we had been bamboozled :). That explained why everything didn't taste like what the visuals anticipated. Afterwards we walked past the store and saw a neon sign up high away from the pretty pastries that said vegan. If you're vegan and looking for beautiful pastries these are it. If you are expecting these to taste like usual donuts, you'll be disappointed.

I needed coffee immediately, so I searched for the closest place to grab a donut and caffeine. Thankfully this spot did not disappoint. First off, the location is clutch. It's right off I-95, which makes it an easy in-and-out stop. They are doing some construction outside right now, so don't be thrown off if it looks a little funky when you pull up--they are open and very much worth it. Now let's get into the donuts, because WOW. I was not prepared for how big they are. These are not your average donuts. I ordered six, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and it looked like we had an entire donut platter. Every single one was filling and genuinely good. My personal favorite was the Oreo donut. It was dense in the best way, not dry at all, and completely covered in cookie pieces. If you like a donut that actually feels substantial and indulgent, this one is a winner. I also ordered breakfast for myself and my kids, and let me just say...the biscuits and gravy were hands-down some of the best I've had so far. No exaggeration. I checked in with my kids about their breakfast sandwiches and they were also very, very good, so no complaints across the board. For drinks, I had a double espresso, which did exactly what it was supposed to do after a long drive... woke me right up. The service was fast and friendly, even though the place was packed, which tells me this is clearly a local favorite. I'll definitely be stopping back again the next time I'm in the Hallandale/Hollywood area

I was actually in a bit of a rush to get to an event, so I didn't have much time to look around or check out the other flavors, but I'm really glad I grabbed one before leaving. The tres leches donut was so good. It had the perfect level of sweetness and the texture was amazing, soft, light, and really well made. Even though I only had time to try one, it definitely made a great impression. Based on that alone, I'll definitely be coming back when I have more time to explore the other flavors.

I ordered the cinnamon toast iced latte a few weeks back and it was so sweet and strong I had to toss it. I felt brave and decided to return for my favorite donut and as a matcha lover thought I'd try. I was impressed with how dark green it was until I took a sip and felt ghastly ill. I cannot begin to explain what I put into my mouth, no drink or meal I've had has come close to how rotten this tasted. Perhaps they mixed old coffee water to make it or the powder went bad? I was just baffled with how horrible this tasted. I sadly had to spit some out around the corner and felt ill afterwards. Developed a headache from the taste. I don't know what's going on with their drinks but I highly suggest sticking to their donuts.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu!
