For my shopping "tastes", this store is just too vast and overwhelming. It is a sea of merchandise. Well organized yes but just way too much stuff to take in. Despite all the "stuff" I didn't see bargains of any note...in fact...and this could just be me ...but I was astonished to see Nike women's sweatpants for $110.00. That seems like a lot of dough to lay out for sweatpants. I'd skip the name brand and the Nike logo and look for another deal. Better yet, don't wear sweatpants unless you're in the gym or running outside on a cold day as I am not sure who they are flattering on and I am so over seeing people running around everywhere in ill-fitting sloppy looking gym-wear. But for the gym-goers, and exercisers of all kinds, you will find all manner of clothing and equipment here...a fairly comprehensive seeming selection whatever your sport of choice might be. They also sell, t-shirts, specialized sports' shoes, lots of coolers and water bottles including the in my opinion ridiculous looking and now viral Stanley water bottles that everyone seems to be lugging around...tons of those! (I just read that in California there is a class action suit pending on these Stanley water bottles as the company has acknowledged the sealing material used for its vacuum insulation contains lead). I didn't see many staff throughout the store. The staff I did see seemed to be congregating up front so if I had had a question there would have been no one to ask without traipsing back up to the front where the registers are. And in a store as large as this, that's a pain. There are so many other places to get most of the things sold here but with better service and for me, with a more manageable store footprint and experience. If I'm not going to get a bargain, I'd rather spend my money at a smaller store with attentive service. Tom didn't find the neck gator he was looking for so we left without purchasing anything but for me, I can't imagine why I'd return.

I wanted one that had certain features included, and the model ordered didn't have any of them. When I called for assistance, I was told all of the "add ons" I wanted could be purchased once they knew I actually liked the bike. This was confusing to me, and felt very dismissive. I didn't want to wait weeks for a bike to come in, bring it home, and then wait weeks for fenders and other parts to come in before I could really ride it the way I wanted to. I'm not sure if they didn't know (or want to admit) that they had ordered the wrong model, or if there was something more icky going on...but with the size of purchase...I no longer felt comfortable. I canceled my order and went elsewhere.

I came here for Oofa recovery shoes to nurse my poor plantar fasciitis, as none of the running-shoe stores within a 30-minute drive had my size. But GettiGear was listed as a retailer in the Oofa website, so I decided to check it out. So glad I did. First of all, she had my size in both the clogs and the slides. Secondly, the clogs were in sale. Third, she had both styles of the slides, which the other shoe stores did not. She also had the newest shoe-style Oofas-- and she was wearing them! I love that she test drives all her products for us! But then I noticed all the bright, well-made, beautiful running pants, the yoga pants, the high-quality running tops, the great yoga mats... And the sports bras! She carries my favorite brand, Sport Skirts (yes, they also make bras) -- AND she had them on sale!!! See, now, usually you have to order Sport Skirt products on line, as they only have a few brick-n-mortar stores around the country. I'm so glad I found a retailer where I can try on different Skirt Sport styles (I can already attest to their quality and fit. But of course I can, or Laura wouldn't be selling them In her store!) So I walked away with two pairs of Oofas and a sports bra (because really, you can't have too many). And it was all I could do to resist the fantastic running pants that were also on sale. I'll be back, and I'll be bringing my sisters and running buddies, too. We anticipated on receiving the boat for over 4 month since attending the New England Boat Show back in February. My dad was so excited for the fishing season. The owner, Wally, was insultingly dishonest and didn't own up to the fact he messed up our work order. He basically didn't process the work order correctly and built the wrong boat. He told us he could easily sell this boat to another customer if we don't want it (at full price probably) because he didn't want to honor the discount we agreed to at the show. He accused us of never ordering the t-top cover and any of the color request we wanted - classic bait and switch. If you're considering purchasing a boat from them, i would HIGHLY recommend you to think again. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, disrespect and time. I got to try a bunch of bikes and actually enjoy the process. It's clear they care about getting you on the right bike, not just making a sale. I ended up with something that fits me perfectly, and I love riding it. They even checked in after to make sure everything was going well, which was a great touch.
