This sweet beautiful soul has been my lash girl for well over 10 years. She is a perfectionist, master of her trade. She is always concerned what I want to update or change. At this point I just lay down and say... do what you want or try something new. I am NEVER disappointed. I can just lay down and fall asleep and awake with pretty eyes. I am comfortable enough to admit I do suffer at times from Trichotillomania (hair pulling) which is usually directed to my eyebrows and eyelashes. However, getting lash extensions has somehow deterred me from pulling as much. I still have minor episodes at times. Okay so I really hesitated to write this review but I found L Lash room on Yelp and I feel like I need to write my honest experience. I would give 2.5 stars but that's not an option. Over all it just seems like a waste of time and money. This was my first experience with a real lash lift I thought I liked the results but I've never had my lashes lifted before so I didn't have anything to compare it to. When I left my appointment and walked to my car, there was so much glue that was left on my eyes and had dried I had to drive all the way home with one of my eyes shut because I literally couldn't open it. Also there was so much glue on my actual lashes as well it took me forever to clean it when I got home. During the lift my eye burned so bad from the glue... idk why but it literally felt like fire. Within a few hours my lashes curled up way too far and some pieces looked curly, and the rest were touching the top of my eyelids. I could not wear makeup without mascara getting all over my upper lids... I didn't mind too much because I tend not to wear makeup when I'm on vacation, but when I got back from my vacation the eyelashes were crimped/ curled and looked horrible like they were fizzled... she straightened them out for me but then I was left with straight eyelashes that only lifted slightly so it defeated the entire purpose of getting it done. I thought the first time maybe she was having an off day so I gave her a second chance.. The second time I went she tried a larger rod and said she wouldn't leave the formula on that long like before. While she was working on my lashes my actual eyelid line was stinging.. she told me that she accidentally glued my lashes too high to the rod and had to redo my left eye. I felt tugging and it felt like some of my left lashes were being pulled out. I can't say I'm positive this is the reason why but my left eyelashes started to fall out within the next 1-2 weeks. I have a gap in my eyelashes now and my left lashes look thinner than my right side. Also by the next morning they were too curly AGAIN and kept touching the top of my eyelids. It looked curled so much that my eyelashes looked shorter. They curl up and around and make my lashes look so short. I spent so much time trying to relax them with coconut oil and thought it was working but I realized it doesn't helped too much... Now as they are growing out some lashes are still over curled and others are crimped.. I read that if you put the rod too close to the lash line the eyelashes can look crimped when they grow out. Which makes sense because that's exactly what happened to me. After it would take days to hear back from her and sometimes she wouldn't respond at all. Her lack of response and help when I'm having an issue with her messing up my lash lift service 2 times in a row is unacceptable. After paying a decent amount of money for a lash lift a client shouldn't have to comb out their lashes 100 times to try to relax them. She always used a rod that was too small. I know I have really strong lashes so they will bounce back but I will not be returning here. read more

I have no idea how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars! I've been going to Ayoung for a little over two years now and she is great! I walk out loving my lashes every time and seem to get more and more compliments on them each time i go! From the cleanliness of the suite to the customer service this place is incredible! I would not go anywhere else. I have recommended so many people to Ayoung and they say the same. My lashes always look so natural and i never wear mascara anymore! Ayoung is the sweetest and the atmosphere is so relaxing! It's the one time a month this mama gets to relax for an hour! I always look forward to my appointment! Wow. All I can say is that Ayoung is AMAZING. I absolutely love my lashes. I was always skeptical about eyelash extensions but Ayoung did a great job of answering all my questions with great detail. I finally committed and am so happy with my results. I have gotten so many compliments and I just love them. I also appreciate the honesty Ayoung gave me. I expressed multiple times the fear I had of losing my natural lashes it I were to remove them. & I told Ayoung that I may go fuller next time and she told me how my lashes are very thin and may not hold a heavier lash without losing my natural lashes (and them probably growing back but still). It shows me she knows her stuff and really tries to make sure her customers keep their natural lashes healthy. Love love love and highly reccomend! read more

I came to Lash Room thinking that lash extensions won't work for me, because of the very bad lash extensions experience I had few years ago elsewhere.. I got hybrid eyelash extensions done at Lash Room and it feels great! I don't feel any discomfort or irritation at all! Feels natural , lashes are weightless and most importantly I feel awesome:) I go to bed pretty, I wake up pretty even post heavy workout I am still pretty;) Now I know that I am not allergic to adhesive or lashes don't cause bad reaction. I have been a client here for 4 years, her service is amazing. That really is a understatement. The owner constantly works hard to provide an upscale, clean, friendly, professional service at all times... she constantly educates herself and makes sure she is up to date on trends, and even with her busy schedule.. she manages to pay and take the time to get certified for every type of lash service provided. I dont know much but thats definitely dedication. It is extremely rare that a lash artist carries all the certifications and not just a license to do lashes. People dont spend the money and take the time if they can pass by it, she can too.. but she chooses not to. She does everything the right way. I've been going to Ayoung for almost 3 years now and refuse to go anywhere else. I am extremely skeptical to think there's anyone better. All of her lashes are extremely high quality and she has lash shapes that no one else carries. She is very particular about the products she uses and will take the time to get them done right. Every time I get them done I can't feel anything (versus other places where I felt glue pain or my eyes got extremely dry) and they come out better than I expected. I had my first lash lift on Friday and I'm loving the results! The experience was very relaxing and comfortable and the results are natural yet totally noticeable! My natural lashes are long but very straight. Even using a lash curler and top of the line mascara never made them curl as much as I wanted. Now I have perfectly curled lashes with or without makeup. Ayoung did a full set of hybrid lashes and she did a spectacular job. She is very warm and welcoming and explains everything very well. I had a couple of gaps with new growth coming in and she was able to fill them perfectly. I was shocked when she showed me before and after photos. Ayoung is great and I will be back for sure.
