That's some serious commitment. That was more than enough to convince me to try her out. I started using Liz as soon as I moved and have been using her ever since. It has been about 3 years. Full transparency, I have tried other lash services in Chicago over the years in hopes to eliminate making the drive to the suburbs every few weeks. Let me tell you, it has never been worth it. The quality of Liz's services, lashes and technique by far surpass any of the other companies or products I have tried...and there have been many. I finally stopped trying other places because why mess with a good thing ;) For those of you who are reading reviews for cost purposes, I will let you know that she comes in very competitively. In my opinion, where she beats everyone coming in the same range, is the length of time the lashes actually stay on. Most places advertise three weeks, but I have only successfully experienced that with Liz. Aside from my personal love for my lashes, I am constantly getting compliments on the uniqueness of my lashes and the quality. I highly recommend her.

She was super nice open and made the entire time comfortable. The room was very private and the pain of the hard wax was barely anything compared to sugar waxing. First wax free for first time waxers, the Brazilian was offered at 50% off= $37.50. I would definitely come back. It was clearly less painful with hard wax, seemed quicker, so let's see the results ! (Remember sugar waxing is for sensitive skin cause it's usually only 3 ingredients you can make at home, but the hard wax didn't give me any reaction just normal sensitive redness.

I am comfortable enough to admit I do suffer at times from Trichotillomania (hair pulling) which is usually directed to my eyebrows and eyelashes. However, getting lash extensions has somehow deterred me from pulling as much. I still have minor episodes at times. Over all it just seems like a waste of time and money. This was my first experience with a real lash lift I thought I liked the results but I've never had my lashes lifted before so I didn't have anything to compare it to. When I left my appointment and walked to my car, there was so much glue that was left on my eyes and had dried I had to drive all the way home with one of my eyes shut because I literally couldn't open it. Also there was so much glue on my actual lashes as well it took me forever to clean it when I got home. During the lift my eye burned so bad from the glue... idk why but it literally felt like fire. Within a few hours my lashes curled up way too far and some pieces looked curly, and the rest were touching the top of my eyelids. I could not wear makeup without mascara getting all over my upper lids... I didn't mind too much because I tend not to wear makeup when I'm on vacation, but when I got back from my vacation the eyelashes were crimped/ curled and looked horrible like they were fizzled... she straightened them out for me but then I was left with straight eyelashes that only lifted slightly so it defeated the entire purpose of getting it done. I thought the first time maybe she was having an off day so I gave her a second chance.. The second time I went she tried a larger rod and said she wouldn't leave the formula on that long like before. While she was working on my lashes my actual eyelid line was stinging.. she told me that she accidentally glued my lashes too high to the rod and had to redo my left eye. I felt tugging and it felt like some of my left lashes were being pulled out. I can't say I'm positive this is the reason why but my left eyelashes started to fall out within the next 1-2 weeks. I have a gap in my eyelashes now and my left lashes look thinner than my right side. Also by the next morning they were too curly AGAIN and kept touching the top of my eyelids. It looked curled so much that my eyelashes looked shorter. They curl up and around and make my lashes look so short. I spent so much time trying to relax them with coconut oil and thought it was working but I realized it doesn't helped too much... Now as they are growing out some lashes are still over curled and others are crimped.. I read that if you put the rod too close to the lash line the eyelashes can look crimped when they grow out. Which makes sense because that's exactly what happened to me. After it would take days to hear back from her and sometimes she wouldn't respond at all. Her lack of response and help when I'm having an issue with her messing up my lash lift service 2 times in a row is unacceptable. After paying a decent amount of money for a lash lift a client shouldn't have to comb out their lashes 100 times to try to relax them. She always used a rod that was too small. I know I have really strong lashes so they will bounce back but I will not be returning here.

As a 1st time lash extension person, I went in not knowing what to expect. I was advised lashes…read moreneed refill every 2 weeks. Although I have asked those with extensions & they said extensions need filling every 3-4weeks. I decided to wait 3 weeks for my fill. After 8-9 days I was missing many lashes on one eye more than the other. It was less than 2 weeks & the fall out was noticeable. I was debating if I should go back to same individual. After all, the 1st set did look nice & I had no problems other than lots of fallout 1st day until revisit. I am new to this & was uncertain if that much fallout is a norm. I made an appt 4 a refill. I noticed there was unevenness from one eye to next, but we all know that eyes lashes like eyebrows may not be symmetrical, but I wasn't as happy with filling as I was with 1st visit. Waiting 3 weeks shouldn't have caused a noticeable difference. Refill- This time, on day 2 I had some soreness, & by day 4 I needed them removed. My left eye was red, sore, tender to touch & sensitive to light. I contacted Ana, & her advise was to wash them. I always do & with the expensive kit I bought from her. I asked if I can be squeezed in to get them removed because I start a new job soon & could not afford to miss because of an eye infection. After thinking about what was going on, my worry turned to upset because I spent a total of $330 in 3 weeks. & after spending $125 for fill w/tip & now 4 days later I am removing them wouldn't leave anyone happy. I also expressed my discontent with her work & after all that I paid I couldn't believe I was removing them in less that a week, & that I'd hope I wouldn't have to pay for removal. Ana then said it'd be complimentary, but to remember I am being squeezed in.. EXCUSE ME! This experience has led me to never want to get lashes again. And you are pretty much telling you are doing me a favor by squeezing me in! Geez thanks? I had to spend $100 on OTC product to try to alleviate the pain & redness. In which it is not helping, now I have to go to a doctor for perhaps prescribed med. SO PLEASE ANA telling me that I am being squeezed it is like a favor, I don't think so. I don't think she understands when a client has experienced this, you either apologize or offer some future discount on service (not that I'd use it) but at least I'd feel like she is trying to right the wrong. Now why this happened, I couldn't tell you. First time, this didn't happen. & I did took care of them same exact way. Something changed from 1 visit to 2nd. I will say Ana has the better prices in the area. But you pay for what you get.
