Although a senior citizen guy, I wanted to color my hair to give it a uniform natural appearance despite thinning and greying hair, too. You get one shot with a TEDx talk, so go for it! Immediately I was so glad I came to this Salon. Ramon, the owner with decades of experience, was both gracious and engaging, and made me feel at home with his fun sense of humor. Ramon listened intently to what I had done in the past and what I needed. We discussed color shades and shaping. He explained what we would do, and I knew I was in good hands. Ramon's coloring and styling were picture perfect -- exactly the look I hoped for! When I got home, my wife, who has a ton of experience with hair styling and color for herself, could hardly stop complimenting how great I looked. However, a couple of days before my appointment, I was informed that she had left the salon. I was rescheduled with Crystal, who was presented as a Master Elite stylist. I had booked a partial highlight. The result of that appointment was my hair going from warm blonde to being totally washed out and grey looking. A few days later, I returned so Crystal could try to correct the color she did. Unfortunately, I left with the result of a yellow correction that looked like I try to do it myself. Additionally, my first two appointments with Laura also required corrections. Altogether, I have spent nearly $1,300 at this salon, yet my hair has consistently required rework and still ended up looking horrible. I have photos but cannot see how to post them here. I posted a message on X but have not received any response from this studio. The title "Master Elite" carries a significantly higher price point and naturally comes with a higher level of expectation and expertise. Based on my experience, I am no longer willing to subject my hair to additional corrective services. At this point, I am requesting a refund for my last appointment. I believe that is a fair resolution given the repeated issues and the outcome I received. But I told myself let's just get this done. All I wanted was a trim and my hair to be dyed a natural black. Because I'm beginning to go gray. So I felt like this should be an easy thing to do. I don't normally go to salons, I don't normally dye my hair. Two young girls (I wish I remembered their names) start just brushing black hair dye all over the place. It was getting over my forehead, cheek, ears neck. They put nothing on before hand to make sure it didn't stain my face. When I finally get my hair wash I agree to a condition treatment. I felt like I got nothing done, I just sat there for 5 minutes. Then she blew dried my hair, not using a brush. Then used a tiny flat iron to straighten my hair. That's when I see these girls dyed my side burns black! Each side burn, why would you do that? It's like I got a line up. I'm so embarrassed. I paid over 2 hundred dollars to be completely embarrassed I look like I have side burns. I regret going here, I wish I could take it all back. I also still have grays.
