I went in just to get my acrylics removed and a regular manicure. The machine they had me use to soak off the nails was absolutely disgusting -- it was covered in other people's nail dust and had an old, dirty paper towel in it. When the technician started applying the top coat, the polish began to smear and bubble. She and another employee started talking back and forth (clearly confused about whether it was gel or regular polish), but she left it as-is and told me to sit with the fans on my hands for over 20 minutes. When she finally came back, she looked at my nails and said, "Oh, this is gel!" At that point, she aggressively removed everything and told me to wash my hands. I told her I didn't want any polish at all after that mess. When I came back, she didn't even let me sit before rushing to put cuticle oil on--while there was still polish all around my cuticles. I asked her to please remove it, which she did, but then hurried me off like I was an inconvenience. After nearly two hours, I was charged $35 for this experience. One of the younger staff members claimed she "took $15 off," but I left on the verge of tears -- I'm not confrontational, and I just wanted to leave. My nails looked terrible, my skin was red, and I didn't even get an apology. Absolutely awful service, unsanitary equipment, and no accountability. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

The tone was certainly there and little did I know that it was to set the tone for the rest of my visit. 2.Shoving and hard tapping my feet to move and do what she needed me to do. No words. (Yes, she knew English.) 3.No sugar scrub or massage with lotion. My feet and legs were swiped with cuticle lotion and it was smeared only half way up my calves and rinsed off. 4. Trying to tell tech about problem calloused area by pointing at my toe when she abruptly pushed my hand away, raising her voice to tell me not to touch her chemical callous softener. 5. Threw hot towel on my right leg and foot, scalding the top of my foot. It's still red and it was a day and a half ago. 6.Made fun of me after requesting no lotion massage on the manicure I had after my pedicure, telling me that I can always go wash my hands, ha ha 7. Worked sick. Maybe she treated me this way because she was forced to work sick, I don't know, but I'm not going back. My daughter will go back, as long as she doesn't get the lady that did mine. Her nail tech was very kind and did a great job on her mani/pedi. 8. The quality of my manicure was great, considering. The pedicure left me with rough feet that snag on my socks. With as busy as this nail salon is, and as nice as their salon is, I'm sure this kind of review is very rare. Lisa gave a first rate massage, checked occasionally for comfort but was otherwise quiet. It was very relaxing, one of the best I've had. Cons: Christian rock played the first two hours I was there. Luckily you couldn't hear it in the massage room. Then they switched to straight country which was survivable. European wax center offers your first wax (of certain varieties) for free, so before I headed to the beach last week I thought, what the heck, let's give it a try. The woman at the front desk was informative and friendly, and my wax specialist Charlotte was very nice. She brought me back and got everything explained and prepped really speedily (I don't know if she just likes to speak fast or if she really was trying to fly through everything) but that was fine with me. She was friendly and made the situation feel casual and comfortable. The waxing didn't hurt too bad either, so that was a welcome relief. They have wax plans you can sign up for to save money if you're planning on going regularly. But as I wanted to see how I liked the results and how my skin did etc, I turned that offer down and was not pressured at all to do differently. So, free wax, no strings! The results have been nice, and I'd definitely recommend their services, at least Charlotte's!
