I was honestly shocked because if an item is clearly placed in a sale section and labeled as 50% off, I would expect someone to at least verify the situation rather than dismissing me. I didn't want to argue or cause a scene, especially because the store was packed, so I just left. The funny part? I got in my car, opened the Ulta app, and ordered THE SAME PRODUCT for 50% off for store pickup at that exact same location. I had already checked the promotion before going into the store, and the product was clearly marked in-store as part of the sale. It's not even about the money at this point. It's the lack of effort and customer service. Mistakes happen, but when a customer is telling you something is clearly marked on the sale shelf, the least you can do is check or get a manager instead of immediately dismissing them.
