**DO NOT GO HERE** I wanted to go somewhere close to home to get my hair colored. I saw L Salon on Yelp and had great reviews and located about two minutes ago. My appt was 5:30pm and I was greeted very nicely. Tiffany sat me down and went over what I wanted. Fyi..It took years to get my hair to a golden caramel. I wanted LOWLIGHTS. I did not want to highlight under my hair and told her I wanted to stay dark underneath. She did dark all over with some partial highlights. She claimed that she did a Balayage which it was not! She burnt my scalp. Washed my hair aggressively. Her daughter even said that it was clean enough to her mom but Tiffany kept scrubbing hard. I told her my scalp was sensitive but she kept going saying she has to remove the color product. When I sat down after the wash, she removed the towel and I was in SHOCK!!!!. I looked like frkn Elvira!!!!! She burnt off my hair in the front where she bleached it with probably 30 Volume!!!. Crispy!!! They both aggressively blow dry my hair with their hand with a very powerful blow dryer. I couldn't even look up to see myself in the mirror while they were blow drying it. They never used a brush and my hair is naturally curly and it was frizzy when they were done! She then went over my hair with a flat iron which I don't use on my hair. I told her there is breakage and both were claiming it was already like that when I walked in. REALLY?!?!?! I have a pic of my scalp where it is burnt, red and raised!! I was crying while they were charging me cuz I was devastated and wanted to get out. I paid $195 total for hair color I did not ask for in the first place. I actually had no energy to refuse to pay that amount. I don't even know why I paid it honestly . While I was paying the daughter snuck her phone out right in front of me and took a pic of my hair with the area that was broken off and burnt and sticking up and I crying while she took it!! I said "why are you taking a pic?" Without my consent! Never in my life have this happened to me. I honestly should've gone somewhere professional. She definitely aged me with DARK hair and some highlights that look grey!!!!! I will post a before and after. And mind you I had to put on TONS of repair serum on the burnt parts. Ugh!! They are so noticeable without the serum!!!! Not sure if I should go to Urgent Care for my scalp. It's actually throbbing a bit. But my daughter gently put Neosporin in the areas that my skin was burned and some parts were bleeding. The Q-Tip had blood on it!!!!!!! Tiffany is NOT a master hairstylist/color expert. She rushed through!!!! This place is a like a Fantastic Sam's. UGH!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! PLEASE!!! BTW..She has never heard of Schwarzkopf!! She uses Joico ladies!! Like back in the 80's product! I had gone to my stylist for 15+ years until she decided to stop cutting hair. She had moved around many times and I followed her. I was devastated because I have very long hair and she was the only one who cut long layers right and also didn't try and cut tons of my hair off. So, almost one year passed and my hair needed to be cut. I had my mom cut it straight across but my hair is thick and heavy and this made it so it wouldn't hold a curl anymore. I was desperate to find a new stylist. I found Tiffany on Yelp and could see from the photos that she knew how to layer long hair. I was lucky enough that she was able to squeeze me in quickly before a wedding I have to attend. I thought... here goes nothing! Praying she would do a good job on my hair. I get frequent blow outs. I decided to try this place since I was in the area. first thing I mention is my hair is very fragile so to be gentle. Also mentioned I should have my hair brushed before the wash & she insisted she'll do it after the conditioner is in. never had a stylist NOT brush my hair before a wash. She then scrubbed it so hard & tangled it mid wash that I was afraid to even have it brushed after. I left with my hair wet and on my way to another salon. I went to this salon and was going to be charged $450 to lighten my hair plus another $60 for a haircut. No test strand was done and she never once checked any of the foils. I'm sure she saw it was broken and over processed at the bowl but didn't tell me. In fact she told me it looks great! She then tried to sell me oloplex1 for $100 while my hair was in the bowl. Once I finally saw it and it was breaking off she still acted like it was fine. They were even trying to sweep my dead hair off the floor behind my back. Once I started crying from all my hair falling out she simply walked away and didn't say another word to me. Her daughter/worker told me "she's not going to charge you" and that was that. We were not able to try their hair cut or color services since setting up an appointment is not easy. I tried 3 times but unsuccessful. First time I requested to reschedule an appointment in advance via text, no response. Second time I called and left my name and phone number, no one called. Third time, I went in person, set up a new appointment, but the night before my appointment they went ahead and canceled. I did not have a chance to respond to the cancelation text message. i came from ca. i was going to a perfect colorist in ca but i ended up moving to las vegas. i am allergic to peroxide so i asked her to buy me schwarzkopf hair color cause only licensed beautician can buy it in cosmo prof. when i arrived she had everything ready for me. i asked for 10 percent peroxide instead of the 20. somehow, as months progressed and the hot weather in las vegas, (4 years now) i ended up changing to joico, cause my hair color acclimates better with joico. she can use any brand. now i am with wella, cause my hair acidity is changing. i like tiffaney a lot. she is amazing with my long hair. she can cut, thin and color it perfectly to my liking. have you seen a hair cutter that can cut your hair using three little pair of scissors at the same time. yes, that's tiffaney. she makes me feel like i am farrah fawcett. she thins my hair too, cause its too thick. she had been a cosmetologist for over 20 years. with that years of experience, you know your hair are in good hands. just make sure you show her an excellent picture of what you like done to your hair. for those of you who has an allergy to peroxide and your hairstylist makes your hair itchy, tiffaney has the foil solution to that. i also bring my own vinegar shampoo and conditioner cause i know what chemicals went into my hair. yay, tiffaney, thanks so much. you saved me from having a white ugly hair every time. i love alli , when she shampoos my hair. she makes sure the back of the scalp is very clean. she takes her sweet time and massages my whole scalp. she makes sure my ears are dry from that nice warm water . i always ask alli to cover my face cause i dont want my face getting wet with that shampoo, and she gives me extra face towel for that. yay!, lots of thanks to you tiffaney and alli. i will see you again when that nasty white hair starts showing up again. elena v. las vegas read more

So disappointed with my color and cut! I requested for a root touch up and would assume that the color would be similar to the color then on my hair NOT to my original hair color. I have been to Tiffany three times prior to this last appointment. The last time when I was here and asked for a root touch up, she chose the right color of my dyed hair color. She has done both root touch up and highlights before, So, I would assume she would know what do this time around. I hate jet black and that's what I got! As an older person, this color doesn't look becoming. I asked for a lob cut which she said she never heard of. I had to explain what it is and told her that most if not all hairstylists know what that is. A lob is long in the front and short in the back and is gradual. I told her I wanted an inch off and I got more than that. Actually, the cut was more of a bob. Tiffany needs to communicate more and check with me as she works if this is what I want especially since she didn't know what a lob is and should ask about the color if she is unsure. Also, she first talked with me before she started and then turned me over to her high school daughter. Tiffany did get the color tubes but I am not sure if she mixed the colors together. Tiffany didn't introduce me to her daughter and didn't tell me what she was doing neither did her daughter introduce herself. I had to ask who she was. I assumed she was licensed. Her daughter did the root touch up, washed my hair and dried it a bit. While my hair was being washed, I asked if she was in college and if she went to hair school. She has a shampoo license. That doesn't qualify her to do color or even just to apply it. I come to a hair salon for professional service not amateur service yet I paid for professional service!
