She mentioned Ana used to work there, so I checked industry out and took a chance on Ana. Well she was terrific! She looked at the style I wanted (at this point I decided to stay shoulder length but with some shape - light layers so it doesn't look too short). The color is perfect and the style is just right-modern and sassy and really perfect for my hair and face. This place acts like they are doing you a favor by cutting your hair. Really disgusting attitude in this place. Hair cuts there were generally a C grade from haircutter, but I wasn't expecting much given where this place is located. As a customer, I expect to be treated with kindness and respect. I received neither despite generous tips for mediocre service. They have recently instituted a 3% surcharge for the use of a credit cart on top of their high prices. When I complained about all of this, including the nasty attitude/phone call I received from the hair cutter, right after giving him a $10 TIP! I was told not to come back. Terrible experience. Management's response: Go find another salon. We already have 3000 customers. In my experience, they don't give a damn about me as their customer. When I returned recently for the exact same service, they charged me $80-- a 100% increase from the original price. When I questioned it, I was told the new price starts at $55 and still insisted I pay $80. The owner refused to come out and speak with me, instead sending the receptionist. To make it worse, they even threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the full amount. That's not how you treat paying customers. Some people have no business owning a salon if they can't deal with customers the right way--with honesty, professionalism, and respect. If prices have increased, they should clearly inform clients before the service is done and confirm if that's acceptable--instead of trying to trick people into paying more and using intimidation tactics. I've had blowouts all over the U.S., and I've never experienced anything like this. It was completely unacceptable. I will never return. If you value fair pricing and decent customer service, stay far away from this place.
