Stacey who is the massage therapist is hands down the best therapist I have experienced. I have had many massage sessions in LA and NY. Stacey has a natural gift for her chosen profession. Stacey asked me about any trouble areas and was took great care. I told her that I had a previous injury from a massage a week prior at a different establishment and she took great care to ease the pain in my carpal metacarpal joint of my thumb. The CMC felt so much better after her manipulation techniques. Stacey was professional, skillful and knowledgeable. Very personable individual. They offer water, tea, cookies to have after. I started with a relaxing massage with Monica. She provided just the right amount of pressure to get a few knots out while still keeping me comfortable. Then I had a facial with Angel and my skin hasn't felt this smooth in a long time. She thoroughly explained what each treatment was for and what to expect before applying any product, and provided some practical advice to help keep my skin healthy in between treatments. My boyfriend and I got a couples massage today. Our massage therapists were Alisha and Janette. It was the best massage I have gotten by far for him and I. The whole place has an amazing aroma and relaxing feeling as soon as you walk in. The receptionist and everyone was super sweet. The whole experience was top tier. The massages were a great price for the hospitality given. They also added hot stones with no extra cost and even went over the time limit. My mom and I went into this day spa because we had a gift certificate for Christmas and we had heard it is great. We went into the couples massage room and were both completely happy with everything, from how we were greeted to the beautiful ambience, great music and scents, awesome setting. Mel did my deep tissue massage and did a fantastic job. It could not have been better. My mom had a more gentle massage and she loved it and said she will definitely be going back. I believe her massage therapist was Amy but it definitely started with an A. Everyone was fantastic and we could have stayed and had tea in front of the fireplace afterward but already had lunch plans with our significant others waiting on us. I can't believe I am the first person to review this gem of Ormond Beach! First of all, let me explain the story of how I found this magical place of complete serenity and relaxation... My maid of honor and I decided to get facials instead of pedicures on day while I was in town. We had both heard of Angelic Gardens since we grew up only 5 minutes away from it, and we both LOVE a good deal so of course we hit Groupon to see what was available... ANGELIC GARDENS WAS THE FIRST ONE ON THERE! We were beyond excited to say the least and we loved the deals... $55 for a 90 minute customizable facial and $89 for a facial, back scrub and mini massage, all in 90 minutes. My friend opted for #1 and I opted for #2. We were so excited but skeptical that they could fit us in before my dress appointment 3:30 that same day (it was already 11:00 mind you). We decided to drive down the road to check it out in person. The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating! We explained his situation and got us in for appointments at the SAME TIME at 12:30! It was fate. He offered to let us fill out paperwork before the appointment to save time. Ok flash forward to the appointment. We arrive and we are instantly greeted by the same gentleman who offered us a wide assortment of herbal tea, coffee, and water. We both opted for the chamomile tea which he brought to us after directing us to the dimly lit, welcoming, relaxing and comfortable waiting area with gorgeous leather couches. We sipped our tea and chatted and 5 minutes later the girls who would give us our treatments came out... I had Jennifer and let me tell you SHE WAS AMAZING! Ask for her!! She was so sweet and helpful and answered all my questions and tended to my every concern. I explained my frustrations with my stubborn blackheads and she focused extra time on those and offered me many of her home remedies which would help me. I loved the advice! She knows her stuff! She even gave me an enzyme treatment instead of the oil massage after I expressed my concerns with my acne prone skin. How nice!! I felt so relaxed and taken care of the entire time! And after my treatments, she gave me little samples of the salt scrub she used on my back which I loved (and she used the fantastic mud mask on my back which made a HUGE difference in the appearance of my light acne). All in all it was one of the best spa experiences I have ever had and I will definitely be returning and asking for Jennifer! I have never left a spa feeling so rejuvenated and fresh. My wife and I went in for a couple massage and were not disappointed. They start you in a really nicely appointed room, with the tv on an aquarium station. We had Amy and Dani, they led us to the treatment room and got the massage underway. They used hot stones, and the 90 minutes went by almost to quick. My massage therapist, Jeanette, gave me great 'tricks of the trade' to improve my posture and be more ergonomic at work to also help and they have all worked.
