The customer service here was HORRIBLE. The nail techs were rude, passive aggressive, price gauging, and discriminate against women of color. My experience almost bought me to tears as I couldn't believe how I was being treated and then later refused a pedicure after an hour wait time. I am not please with the services I received today. I explain what I wanted and she only listen too what she wanted to listen to. When you try to correct them are tell them what you wanted in the first place, they like to argue with you. I got my nails and feet done by them and wanted to remove the gel nails off my feet and nails, why would I just have removed off one part of my body? I was charge $24. (To expense) to removed off my feet and nails. But, the downfall is I had to pay for my services up front. When another customer enters, she did not. I will not return. read more

Been going there for a long time for eye brow tint...This time tint lasted a few days. I went back for some satisfaction. The yoing lady was very unprofessional. she argued that I was there 2 weeks ago, and yet the tint this time lasted 4 days, it normally last 2-3 weeks. I believe when she did it she was rushing because she I heard her tell another customer that she would be with them in 20 minutes. The tints I been getting is usually a 30 minutes job. Anyway thank God they are not the one that does eyebrow tint. read more

They do a very good job, but the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they price gouge. I've been sporadically going here for about 2 years and since there open up after phase 1, prices tripled. They also charged me $5 extra for square square nails because I told her file a little so they aren't fat looking. My nails are literally still square square. I've gotten the bulk of my sets done by them, but will be looking for a new nail shop now. read more

Let's do a pros and cons list: Pros: 1) I like the final result with the exception of one nail. Cons: 1)It was hot in there. Like obvious hot. Not like some people will be comfy. I'm talking they don't have the air on hot. 2) they are one of those shops that charge for EVERY single THING! Like the shape they file your nails is a charge. American manicure is a charge because its tips. 3) They try to Sell you everything. I just wanted a polish change on my toes, Of course they asked if I wanted a pedicure. That's normal most places do (it's a business I get that). But then the guy went to the back and got some kind of lotion butter and rubbed my hands and arms with it after my manicure. He asked if it smelled good. I told him yeah (being nice), this dude asked if I wanna buy it! As stated earlier I get it you guys are there to make money BUT I'm trying to relax and the nail shop is the last place I expect to have to deal with this. 4) Customer service? Nope. It was super slow on a MONDAY! They should've been smiling and talking and happy to have the stragglers they did. No. They girl that serviced me was very blunt and dry. Okay fine we don't have to talk but she also moved really fast and when it came time to cut my cuticle I told her she's making me nervous with how fast she was going. Her response was that's just me I'm not rushing you. My thought was yeah but if you cut me with that clipper we gone have a problem. And she filed my nails down! I'm growing my real nails by the way!! That pissed me off!! Will I be back? Hell no! They did an alright job on my nails but I mentioned wanting to get ombre once my nails grow out. The girl said I have ombré gel polish. Try it on one nail and if I don't like she'll take it off. Well the shit didn't work. It's ombré glow. So the effect wasn't the same. So she took it off but didn't get all the polish off. And you can see it on my cuticles. I'm sure after a good bath it'll come off but that is far from my point. This lady was so rude and unprofessional to me. I went there to get my nails soaked off, a gel manicure, and my eyebrows waxed. She told me it was gonna be a 30min wait which i was okay with. When i finally got to the chair she asked me what all i was getting done she calculated everything gave me a price and told me i had to pay up front. I asked her why should i pay for something i never gotten yet. I asked her what if i didn't like it and she already had my money. She refused my serviced and asked me to leave. I was so pissed I waited almost an hour just for her to tell me that like bitch you could've said that upfront before i wasted my time. First of all they made me pay first which was a red flag but however I really needed services. (Pedicure) when I got to my chair she told me put my feet in, the water was ice cold. I asked to have it warmer, she tried adjusting it but it wasn't hot enough for me. I still continued to receive service. As she finished scraping my heels I noticed sh started washing the instruments, no problem. She returns and begins to massage my legs. Once she finished i felt my heels and noticed they were still rough. I asked her if she would srcub my heels and she said "no". They dont do that. At this point im ready to leave. I asked why not, isnt that a part of the cleaning service, you scrap the desd skin then srcub, she said no . Never again will i return here. Horrible service! I came to this nail salon and got a full set, eyebrows, and a toe polish. Everything was okay until the next day. The next morning I noticed that I had 2 burn marks under my eyebrows. I went back there to talk to the manager(Sophia) who performed on my eyebrows. She was very rude and short with me, claimed that they do not do refunds and that I basically couldn't get anything for the inconvenience. She even went on to blame it on my acne and claimed that it was "not that bad". I will not be returning to this place, service is TERRIBLE DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I'll start off by making it clear that I'm not telling you to avoid this place but if you do make sure you advise them to clean their tools, like all of them... that being said I'll tell you my experience which while at the salon was great for their customer service and having patience with an un decisive client (me) so if you read this and you work their great job. As for the price I paid (78.00) for not even getting a mani or pedi just getting gel (30 which is average) on my feet with two acrylic nails(20 that's a lot when I pay 25 for a full set of acrylics) now that I'm on my third day last night I had to go to the hospital due to the bearable pain I was in due to my cuticle being infected, like I'm fine with someone being a little hard on my hands but clean your supplies when you're running a business potentially deals with open wounds. I walked into this salon because I was looking for a new nail salon that offered more designs. I was greeted coldly, then when I sat down to get my services the lady asked me to PREPAY FOR MY SERVICES which is completely unheard of when you go get your nails done. She was also short and rude when I asked why. Her reason is because she's never seen my face before- I had on a mask and I had been there before- and I tip fantastically.I felt discriminated against as though she did not trust that I would pay for services. I'm so glad I left because I later went back and read reviews where they have cut and jacked up nails- this is exactly why I would never prepay. Very bad business. read more

This place is horrible. They have no customer service skills at all. I told the lady twice the gel nail machine actually burned me. She said it must be me it never happened to anyone else. So I guess both times I literally had to remove my hand from the machine it was just me not the machine. I asked her to use a different machine and she said that they didn't have another one. Clearly, there were several more around the shop. I will be reporting them. It's sad that they don't mind taking our money but can't respect us. Lesson learned! read more

Horrible experience.... 1. Make you pay for service in advance to ensure they receive payment, but results were awful. I see why they want money upfront, because I wouldn't have paid. 2. I asked if they could narrow out and contour nailbeds by building up the acrylic a little bit... the response was that they couldn't fix anyone else's work and suggested new sets on my daughter and myself. I get it, fixing someone's work is more time consuming and a new set is worth more to include another $5 to take off. I asked if she felt like she could do a better job than what was there and should have left immediately. Her response was "My eye see different from you eye. I not know if you see better". Wanted to cast the response off as a language barrier. In the end, the new sets weren't any better! 3. Price gouging and everything has a fee... my daughter wanted a matte polish and they don't have any, but $5 for a matte top coat. They then said to avoid oils/lotions because the polish would get shiny. I asked why and was flippantly told to ask the company that makes the polish. I went by referral, whose nails they do extremely well. But it seems it may be due to the $100 tip her dad gives. Not experienced enough for me with nails or customer service, and I'm not excessively tipping to get serviced, when the services are already extremely highly priced. read more

I went to La Bella ( as I have before ) . I used to frequently go there a couple years ago. I stopped going because they charge extra money to remove dead skin on your feet, which is something that is typically considered apart of a pedicure. & their work is sub par anyway. This particular time I went & asked for a refill & was told my nails were old & needed a new set. I expressed to her that would be fine, but, I had somewhere to go right after & time did not permit. She further informed me that if I were to come back tomorrow saying I didn't like them there's basically nothing they could do. At this point I'm getting annoyed , because yes my nails were old, however, if I'm asking for something & willing to pay it shouldn't be an issue. ( I really didn't care if they were messed up due to them being old , I just needed my nails done for the event I was attending. I again said that's fine. She proceeds to inform me that any new customers are required to pay before the service. First and foremost I have almost never heard of an instance where you pay BEFORE getting serviced. Getting even more annoyed at this point I said THAT'S FINE , yet again . I went into my purse to grab cash but didn't have enough on me, considering I rarely carry cash. I gave her my debit card & she then says " we need ID for all cards. I finally said f it & said don't worry about it. AS SOON AS the words "don't worry about it left my mouth, she said okay thank you. It was as if she just did not want to do my nails from the start! It wasn't about me not being able to come back if they weren't to my liking, it wasn't about me having to pay before the service because it clearly was not an issue. It was the fact that it seemed as though she just didn't want to service me especially because as soon as I said don't worry about she said okay thanks straight away. I don't know if it was because she thought I wasn't able to pay or wouldn't pay for that matter ? I hate to put anything off on certain issues but I definitely felt as though I was discriminated against for whatever reason. I think she was definitely discriminating against me due to race. I won't say what race I am, but whatever race or ethnicity that popped up thereafter the reading of this review is EXACTLY what I am. I'm a big person on customer service due to working in the customer service field & I believe in tipping well & being an understanding customer especially due to all the change COVID has came with, but it was ridiculous & sad to be treated that way for WHATEVER reason. As an entrepreneur & business owner myself I understand the importance of business morale & la Bella definitely disappointed. Will never spend money here again. They lucky i needed my nails done for the next day bc i had a photoshoot ! this isn't my usual nail shop but i've been here a few times & it's the same type of service every time . i never had to pay upfront for my nail service( that's new ) the reasoning was bc they had people run out of them before .. seemed pretty racist to me bc they know damn well they wouldn't make a white woman do that . i then ask her well since you're making me pay for my nails up front what if i don't like them ? will i get a refund ? she said no & the other lady basically said she doesn't mess up & it's always right . They are really bossy & controlling & RUDE here & the customer service is trash . i don't recommend not even for a quick nail fix , i literally witness them telling another client they couldn't fix her nails bc they MIGHT not have the same color powder as the one the lady had . the lady asked to see the color powder they had & the worker told her no they don't have it ! like wtf , they don't even know how to speak to customers . i'm getting my pedicure & she asks me what shape ? i told her square square she tells me i can't do that bc * insert weak ass excuse so now i have square round toe nails ! like wtf it's 2021 , who is getting square round toe nails ???? at this point i really wished i never came . i mean every time i come here it's empty that should've rung bells then . just wait for your usual nail tech sis don't come spend your hard earned coins here !! read more

When I first moved here I loved coming to this place the quality and service was always the best but for the past month I've noticed how frail and easily my acrylics break off not even a week after I went in I now have 3 broken nails. I am now looking for a different place sadly they have lost me as a customer. read more
