I really loved the fact that you had to make an appointment. This made my scheduled time feel very personal and not rushed or left with the feelinh your getting half the quality you could give yourself at home. The ladies were nice and friendly. The shop chatter wasn't inappropriate or oddly uncomfortable. This was one of the better experiences I have had in the nail salon industry in a while. I had given up hope on the bite size pampering experience. This was due to so many failed attempts at even an okay job. Luxx, has made me feel confident that I can get a good spa service when needed.
This is the second time i've been serviced here and the staff is nice & the place is clean. I had a bad experience with my dip nails the 2nd occasion because I had 4 nails that cracked and broke and 1 nail that is chipped. This is only my second week & usually they never crack or chip .. just grow out naturally.. Normally I can go 4-5 weeks with no breaking. I am disappointed because this shop is a little more pricey than other salons & I expect the work to speak for itself. Maybe it was just the nail tech I had. I'm going to try one more time before I find another salon.

The lady who did my pedicure asked three times what was wrong with my nails. There's nothing "wrong" with them. It's the way I was born. She then preceded to call over other ladies in the shop to point and laugh at my nails. Seriously she pointed.
First time here, decided to pamper myself with a pedicure and an acrylic refill. My nail tech Stephanie was down right the best! I asked for 2 different nail designs, one on my ring fingers and another on my middle fingers, and she delivered and killed it. The atmosphere is down to earth and relaxed. The inside is a cozy environment with neutral coloring. As of right I believe they are appointments only and they close Sundays and Mondays. Making an appointment was really easy and the girls were very accommodating to fit your schedule and needs. Upon arrival, you give the salon a call so the girls know you've arrived and are in the parking lot. Someone will give you the ok to come in where you get your temperature checked and directed to wash your hands.
What you asked for vs. What you got So I tried this nail salon as a last resort, going out of town the next day when my usual nail tech had a family emergency and had to cancel on my last minute. I have a naturally long nail bed and swear by dip powder service. I don't get acrylics. I presented the picture of what I wanted to Nancy and asked if it could be achieved with dip powder, she told me that it could and I was honestly in disbelief. When I tell you, this set is one of the best I've ever had! I usually play it safe and stick to nudes, and very light colors but I wanted something different for the Holidays. I'm still in amazed at how well this look came out on my natural nails! Nancy is a true artist, okay? One thing I will warn about is the pricing. This nail salon is a bit higher than what I'm used to. Certain nail shapes incur a fee (Ex: Coffin=$5) and my Dip set started at $45. I believe my bill matched the quality of the work on my hands. I definitely recommend this salon!
These ladies took great care of me. I had a late in the day appointment (first time) and forgot to tell them I already had something on my nails, but they were really cool about it and soaked them off for me (other salons ive been to they'd just pop my nails off so I loved this and didnt mind spending the extra time to have it done) and Nancy did the acrylics. I love the shape, colour, thickness (im on a keyboard all day) and shine. Even better was the atmosphere. These women were friendly and funny and that alone makes me want to go back. I've been in shops all over town but this is one I actually plan on returning to and I highly recommend

It's only been 1 day and my gel polish is already starting to lift. The way it was polished makes it look like I already have 1 weeks growth. The manicurist also kept wiping her runny nose and even adjusted her nose ring in the middle of doing my nails. She then proceeded on my nails without washing her hands after she wiped her nose with her hand.
I was staying nearby and in need of some nail attention. I found this place via Yelp and drove down while the rest of my family was getting ready. They opened at 9:30am but I arrived a little early on Saturday, and was still allowed to enter as a walk in. The salon is nice and they have lots of pretty colors from which you can choose. The nail tech was busy working on another lady and asked her co-worker Leah (Lia?) to wrap my current gels nails so they could be removed. Leah is awesome; she is a 5-star chica! Nice, personable, and friendly. She told me about a new mermaid chrome application. I asked to see a photo, but they didn't have any. I decided to try it anyway. (See my photos to see what it looks like. The look will vary based on which base color you use.) The nail tech was also friendly, but seemed to be rushed because they were short staffed that day. She gave suggestions on what colors look best with the mermaid chrome. The price for a full set of gel nails is $25. Not bad! The chrome application is $35, which is ridiculous. I don't mind paying for great quality, but for 20 seconds of rubbing glitter powder on my nails? C'mon. Anyway... I didn't fuss about the price. I am, however, fussing about the quality. The polish on my left thumb nail was somehow crumpled. Unfortunately, I didn't see this in the shop, but the nail tech (Nancy?) did. I remember her examining that nail and reapplying some clear polish. I didn't realize why until I left the shop and saw that she allowed me to leave the shop with a jacked up nail, AND still charged me full price! That is horrible! The other nails look nice and I do like the mermaid chrome look, so it would have been a 4 or 5 star review if she hadn't tried to get over on me like that. She knew (from our conversation) that I was visiting and wouldn't be able to return to get it fixed. Shame on you, girl! If you decide to come here, check your nails in good lighting before leaving and before paying to make sure they aren't messed up!
I was in NOLO visiting and was in great need of a fill-in and eye brow waxing. After looking at several salon reviews near me I decided on Luxx. They have really great reviews, but I personally do see what all the hype was about. I love the layout and decor of the place. And the technician that helped me was sweet and she did a great job on my nails. My biggest problem with this place is that they only had four technicians working and it was rather busy. I waited for about an hour and twenty minutes before I was seen. Also, one of the technicians was a little unprofessional. She took personal cell phone calls while working with clients. Their prices are reasonable, but honestly wish I would have gone to another salon.
A friend of mine told us she got Chrome Nails over here and with how new this look is, we thought it'd be good to go where they know what they're doing! The salon is really clean and nice, and we were taken immediately. We looked at pictures, and the staff was really great at helping us to achieve what we wanted nail-wise (see picture). Finished product looks great, and a really fun look for Halloween. The only thing is we did feel a bit rushed. They let us know that it'd be $35 for Chrome Nails, but before we realized it, they were putting on the polish sans an actual full-on manicure. Basically they shaped our nails up a bit, and started putting on Chrome Nails. $35 felt a little pricey just for the look but I am so so so so, did I mention so bad at doing my own nails that's it's worth it for me, I just wish I had been offered to get a manicure done too so just word to the wise. They have other options besides my color to get a Chrome look and I totally suggest it for a special night out or when you dress up!

No disappointment here! Me and the hubby had a wonderful experience getting pedicures this more. The establishment is decorated in cool gray tones and works by appointment only. No walk-ins. They have 3 pedicure options Basic, De-Luxxe, and Luxx. Prices are fair, especially in comparison to CA. Good service, attentive, no wait. read more

Please go here if you are visiting from out of town!! It's on the west side but the drive is worth it!! I went in a walk- in and only waited about 15 minutes. I have been obsessed with my nails and it's already been a week- they still look so perfect! Nancy did mine and she wasn't rough on my nails one bit. She was extremely nice and even recommended me several other restaurants to go to while I was still in town. I paid $35 for my nails, which was VERY decent. I hope I can visit again soon! read more

These are the worst nails I've ever had. They can not shape and my nails look like bubbles, never going there ever again I was so unsatisfied with my experience there. Not to mention they put on my fingers! read more

Always beyond satisfied when I come here. Especially during this pandemic, they have converted to appointments only. This not only allows a safe space for clients and employees, it also allows the nail tech to take care of each clients thoroughly. Love it! read more

I go here all the time for a full set and Katie never disappoints! No nail tech can replace my favorite one. I also never break a nail when I get it done here. It's cheaper to me than most places and the quality doesn't compare. The owner is so nice and funny. And free Coke with a check in on yelp?? I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. read more

Just got back from my first visit to Luxx. After searching for a clean, friendly nail salon for months, I think I've finally found a winner! Nancy was very nice and gave wonderful recommendations. They offer the gel dip, which not a lot of salons offer. I hope it lasts as long as she said! I am glad that I read on here that they only take appointments on Monday. I would definitely recommend and look forward to going back. Update: I'm going back today, 23 days later, and my nails still look good, just grown out. I've NEVER had a gel manicure last this long! read more

Manicure/gel/pedicure/eyebrow waxing: I've been going to nanciee for years. Her salon is the only place I go to. She's done regular gel to holgraphic nails to mermaid nails for me. I recommend her salon for all services. The salon is new and a relaxing atmosphere. read more

We do offer lashes by appointment only on Tuesday and Wednesday it’s based on what type of lashes there classic,hybrid,and volume lashes let me know what type and I will give your pricing on them thanks
How much does a full-set of acrylic nails cost? And the cost if I wanted to purchase a french-tip look with the acrylics?
