My mom lived there for the last 2 months and she had warm loving care from caregivers Liliya, Lora and Denis (owner). During such a difficult time when my mom was on Hospice, they watched after her around the clock to made sure she was kept comfortable, well fed and cared for. The aroma of homemade meals cooking always welcomed me and it was heartwarming to know my mom was getting the best nutrition along with nurturing care. The extra services that were offered, music and massage therapy, were an added bonus for the residents who so enjoyed them. Thank you Denis and staff for a wonderful place for my mom to live and be well-cared for.

My mother is living with Alzheimer's and has been at Caring Hands for six years. She is receiving all the medical support she needs through a visiting nurse, and the capable staff at Caring Hands. Caring Hands is family owned and run, so my mom is treated like part of the family. She has regular intergenerational interaction, and the whole family truly knows and loves my mom. In the midst of this disease, mom is treated with dignity and sweet encouragement to engage in life however she can. They talk and laugh with her. They have celebrations with their residents for holidays, birthdays, and throughout COVID have looked to care for their residents while visitation was not possible, complying with the state restrictions. I take comfort that my mother's health and safety has been their first priority and appreciate knowing that this home is immaculately clean. Plus, there is always something delicious cooking in the kitchen! When my mom has needed extra support, we are contacted about the best way to meet that need. I recommend Caring Hands Senior Home to anyone who is looking for a small group home who will care for their family member, body, soul, and spirit, with dignity, respect, and love.

They went above and beyond for our mother in their communication with us and care for her. After our mother passed, they offered us their theater room for her celebration of life, accommodating all of our needs for our event making sure the residents were able to attend and all of our friends and family were welcomed. As my sister & myself both live outside the state it was very comforting knowing she was well cared for With people that truly loved her.

The first two years was in their transitional memory care unit, then .5 year in the full memory care unit. Here's a breakdown of our experience. I always like to start with the good: Care Staff: The care staff at Farmington Square were generally good. They showed genuine care and concern for my mother's well-being. However, there were some employees who appeared to be primarily motivated by their paycheck, which was a bit concerning. I would like to point out some staff members who I believe went above and beyond: Cory, Megan, Isabel, Michelle, Brianna, and the van driver Rob. Through their actions, they all reinforced my feeling that my mom was being well taken care of. Food: One standout aspect of Farmington Square was the quality of the food. My mother consistently enjoyed the meals, and they were well-prepared with a variety of options and good portions. She was given snacks throughout the day, and someone was always ready to provide her with a cup of coffee. Billing and Communication: Unfortunately, our experience with billing and communication from day one left much to be desired. I stopped my direct withdrawal within a month of starting because they were withdrawing the wrong amount. Billing issues were particularly problematic. I find it interesting that anytime there was an "honest mistake," it always favored the facility and not the resident. We were charged room rent for 15 days after my mother's passing. While this may be legal, it is certainly unconscionable and gives you a sense of their moral compass. There were multiple instances of poor communication between the staff and our family, which led to frustration and confusion. This was both unexpected and disappointing. Management: Our interactions with the management team were less than satisfactory. They seemed disorganized and unresponsive when it came to addressing our concerns or resolving billing issues. This lack of effective management was a significant source of frustration during our time at Farmington Square. In summary, Farmington Square Assisted Living provided decent care and excellent food for my mother. However, the issues with billing, communication, and management were significant drawbacks to our overall experience. If these areas were improved, it could be a much better place for residents and their families. I'm not sure if I could recommend Farmington Square Beaverton to anyone who is private-pay; it seems to me that Farmington Square's number one goal is to separate you from as much of your money as possible.

Residents here are typically less mobile and spend most of their time in their individual rooms or outside on the garden patio. This peaceful space is perfect for those in the later stages of life.
