For about $12 CAN, I chose a large bowl that I thought I could finish easy. Try again! The fries and curds proved to be no match for how much I could accommodate in my stomach, given how rich it was in taste. For once, I didn't quite finish my lunch. No matter- still good eating anyway. Customer service here was fun. The gentleman who prepared my poutine snickered when I asked for pork cut up within my dish (it was available, so why not), which enhanced the taste a bit. Add in some discussion that was 95% in Francais, and consider it a pretty good afternoon within Montreal's Boucherville area. Plenty of parking within this shopping district, and all smiles here. Cheers to a good time eating at Planete Poutine!

My general tao was chicken nuggets with sweet chili sauce and sesame seeds poured over top. Not the most delightful. My husbands was jalapeno sausage with banana peppers poured over top... Again not the most delightful. There wasnt a ton of cheese on either of ours.... It tasted OKAY. but probably wont go back. We both also has stomach aches after until the next day... We assume its from there.

I've been going to this restaurant 1-2x a week for the past couple of months and I'm sick and tired…read moreof their bullshit. I take my orders to go as I live 15 minutes away and I had to drive back because my food was inedible TWICE in the last 3 weeks. The first time, one of the employees put about an inch of relish on my burger, making it a soggy mess. The second time, my burger was raw (the entire inside of the patty was pink). The first time, the employee (blonde ladie, maybe a manager) offered me a refund and a new burger, I declined the refund since mistakes can happen and they were very apologetic. The second time, they just made me a new burger without offering me a refund (different employee this time) I would have actually taken a refund this time because I was very pissed off. But hey, I guess I should be grateful that I got a new burger with my (now cold) poutine, and having wasted an hour driving back and forth. Especially for $25. How does a restaurant get away with being this inconsistent? When the food is good, it's great, but it's subpar 20% of the time, and 5-10% of the time it's inedible. For this price point, this is absolutely unacceptable. They lost me as a customer.

The employees who work there are extremely amazing, they're all so kind and joyful, they'll always put a smile on your face. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey and they don't take debit. The service makes up for it though ;)

Lafleur's may be a little pricier than you're average frie shack, but they use canola oil that is not recycled day in and day out, and their quality is consistent. Clean environment, vegetarian options available. I don't know why Cloe T was sent to this location from the Sheraton Hotel, this is the one that I like to go to because I live nearby but there are many locations around town, and again their quality is consistent.
