When I went to get my finger nails done, I decided to switch to a gel full-set instead of a mani and they didn't hesitate to accommodate my request. I left with a bleeding toe but not before I had to request my freshly painted chunky polish be removed and re-painted they seemed to be appalled by the request) The 1st nail tech massacred the shape then tried to say that when I came in that was the shape. She then told the other tech that she tried to trim them and trimmed too much. On top of that they painted my skin to make my nails appear to be shaped well. When I asked them to remove the polish from my skin they laughed and said " I tried to make em look square." Never again! If you want a good shape and decent paint go somewhere else. Moved to Wake Forest 7 months ago. Had regular manicure at La Belle Nails 12279 Capital Blvd Wake Forest Dec 2023. Manicurist did not clean cuticles satisfactorily but still gave 25% tip. Gave La Belle Nails another chance a week ago. Perhaps they will have a better experienced person. This time it was worse. The person had a warm bowl of water and didn't say anything. I had to ask. The nails were not shaped straight. I had to show and redo. Rough edges. I had to demonstrate. Cuticles not cleaned. She applied the first coat. There were streaks and didn't say anything. I pointed it out. The other lady said two coatings were needed then changed it to three coatings. This visit was not going well. The other lady offered I choose another color. I chose to leave. I still left the payment plus 20% tip. I was not after a free service. Just needed an experienced person who can deliver competent service. Not going back to La Belle Nails. I had a mani-pedi with shellac on my nails only. The pedicure was awesome! She actually rubbed my feet! The mani was probably the best I have ever had. She took her time, re-applied the shellac while the others dried and all in all it looks great. $50. read more

I got a pretty bad set of acrylics at a different salon. After shaping and maintaining them myself, I really needed a fill-in but wasn't interested in going back to that place. La Belle is your pretty standard strip mall nail salon, but I'm super impressed with my fill-in. I walked right in at about 12:30 and only had to wait 10 minutes or so. I told Phan that I really wanted them thin and natural looking, and he pulled it off perfectly. The acrylic matches up well to the cuticle, and the thickness is perfect - they're strong but they don't look fake at all, which I really hate. He was nice and professional and that paint job is good too. The price is standard, $20 for fill-in but worth it if you're looking for something that doesn't look like fake nails. They spend a lot of time working on your nails and cuticles before applying polish, so I've noticed they last a lot longer. The nail polish selection isn't huge, but it's pretty decent. I went just for a pedicure and they definitely went all out with the leg and foot massage. However, she didn't scrub my feet enough and I really like it when it's nice and soft. The people are very nice and I give them three stars because their customer service was great. I had a pedicure by a woman (not sure of her name) who did a great job. She didn't talk to me at all, but I prefer that. She gave a lengthy massage which you don't get at many places. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Received a great basic pedicure for a great price ($25). Dora spent a little extra time and TLC on my tired feet and calves and gave the BEST massage I've had at a nail salon! I went on a Saturday and they were quite busy, but I called ahead and they got me right in when I arrived 10 minutes later. Very lovely ladies and professional. I love the massage chairs and there are TVs with closed captioning that make the time go by fast. My nails have stayed for quite a long time and I can't always say that. My specialist took great care in applying my polish and she did a fantastic job. Didn't take long before the services became rushed and sloppy. They aren't any different then most of these salons that believe quantity, not quality comes first. The best! I've been coming to La Belle Nails for a little over two years now and I have no complaints. I always get my nails done by Phan. He does a phenomenal job! I never have any complaints and if there is something I don't like or need fixed there is no problem in getting it done. I have been here twice. Both times I had a young lady "Nei" pronounced "knee". She is very pleasant. My first experience I went in for a deluxe pedicure. She offered a bottled water. She went over and beyond with that massage. I'm not sure that I've ever had a massage that in depth. The pedicure itself was good. Irs two wks later. The Polish is still pretty in my heels are wonderful. The second time I went, I only needed an eyebrow wax. I will probably not go back there again for that. I read many reviews claiming that they offered amazing, unrushed, beautiful nails (even without an appt). I figured I'd try my luck but wasn't expecting much without an appt on a Saturday. I was welcomed in and asked to wait 15 minutes. I don't even think it was 5 minutes before they asked me to sit to begin my nails. The woman who did my nails and unfriendly, seemed rushed and did an absolutely terrible job. I could have done better work at home by myself. I paid extra for gel, which came off in a week, because of the rushed and terrible job. When I asked during my service if she could do a simple design, her response was no. She said she never does any kind of designs. I understand, as that's not everyone's forte. So I asked if someone else in the shop could take 5 minutes to do the design. She replied, "no. Everyone's busy." I really would have preferred to be turned away than pay for a terrible/rude/rushed job that didn't last and I didn't even get what I wanted. Seems like this store only has 2 technicians worth going to according to other reviews and they require appts booked weeks in advance. I won't be going back here. read more

The old lady sucked at waxing and couldn't see properly and kept missing so much hair and took a lifetime. The quality of service was poor and not worth the price. $10 extra to just get finger knuckle hair waxed when I've been getting full arm waxes for years and they always have included finger knuckles everywhere I've been. read more
