I do not recommend this place whatsoever. Just went Sunday 03/03 for the first time with my friend. Today is Wednesday 03/06 Does this look $129 worth? My fingers are in pain. I am so ready to get these off. At least my friend's nails came out okay but she was in pain the whole service. They charge for mini water bottles and wine, no complimentary here. They play the same 8 songs and constantly berate you if everything is alright. I felt so uncomfortable to speak up and was just eager to get out. We spent a total of 2.5 hours there and no other service was provided. Noted that my best friend was seated after me and was done wayyyy before me. Not only her, but the entire shop was finished while this circus went on while the owner was watching and giggling. I went for a dip manicure and end up being charged for a full manicure with dip and the manicure was not fully completed. Two nails broke in less than 3 days of having them done. I made an appt for the repair- I get there and the owner is delusional as to why I'm there and conveniently the tech that worked on my nails was ghost. My initial visit with Mimi was good. She was very sweet and the work she did was nice. I had to come back almost a week later because the nail polish lifted. All I wanted was a polish change, so I requested a thin french tip, which stated on their site $7+. I go to check out and Daniel tells me $50. When I asked for a breakdown...it's $5 to remove previous polish, $25 for gel change (said that'sfor buffing and filing), $15 for thin line (considered design) and $5 for nail length. I just got them cut down at initial visit. You walk in expecting to pay a certain fee because of the website. I advise to make sure you get complete total of all needed before sitting in someone's chair at his shop. If you decide to go, see Lesley or Mimi both were wonderful ladies! read more

Hello All and Daniel I know you'll see this. It's a pitiful greedy shame that I scheduled an appointment with Kristina (@5pm EST). I arrived on time for the front staff worker to tell me oh she's with a customer I don't know how long she'll be knowing she took the appointment when I called in. Then, she (the worker) has the unmitigated gall to say to me "you can ask her how long". Knowing I'm the one with the appointment. How dare you tell a customer with an appointment to walk up on another interaction to beg for time that I had scheduled. I had another appointment hindsight why people make appointments to avoid Walk-in wait time. So don't WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO BUSINESSES THAT DON'T RESPECT YOU AND THE FACT is if there are no customers you don't have a Business. Never be so arrogant and prideful about how you run your Business. And the sad thing is I had been a faithful, regular right down the street from my home. Your business won't prosper with that level of arrogance and booking appointments and not keeping them is tacky!!!! You're in a shopping center that is not flourishing! And People of color patronize your Business so once we learn our Value system and doing business with our Own!!!! Don't take it for granted how you treat customers or you won't be in business long. And watch how you TREAT regular customers who spend and are valuable and have power to refer and have referred. Thank You!!! Take this as a lesson to coach and develop your employees on how to treat paying customers! Learn humility as a business owner and rid yourself from arrogance. You eat cause people pay you!!! Previous reviews seem based on not the quality of the service, but personal issues. Daniel is a wonderful and talented technician. I went to him for the first time today. Appointment was easy to book, communication was great (he texts for confirmation, etc.) Arrived at his office space (in a business park that has offices that look like townhouses - typical for N Raleigh). He fixed my nails, they had jagged edges and were not straight. Now they look amazing! I will be returning for service. I would much rather sit in a quiet space with one technician, and have quality service, than visit a huge nail salon. read more

This nail salon was just like the rest they claim they do a great job and are able to do so many designs but cannot. My first issue was the listed hours of operations online it stated they close at 8 which is not true they close at 7. This was frustrating because I felt like we were already being rushed and I could not get all of my services completed. While getting my nails done they apparently had to close their payment machine and requested I pay before my service was complete, whichI see now was a setup because they knew they couldn't deliver. I had to give direction the entire time on things that needed to be fixed and they still were not up to par but I had prior engagements that I had to leave for so there was no time to resolve it then even though I spent almost 2 hours in this salon. The next day they looked even worse my nails are not fully painted, I have acrylic on my nail beds, paint was chipping from whatever special effect product they used to do the gold, and the form of my nails are simply trash. I went to rectify the situation at the studio and it was not handled appropriately. The man told me my nails look nice even though he offered to fix them before saying that. I even asked another customer that was in the middle of getting her nails done if my nails looked nice and she agreed they were flawed and began to point out the same flaws i mentioned. I asked for a refund because it's the holiday I don't have time to sit and wait I need to be on the road atp. He said there is no refund policy but asks to see my receipt to see how much I paid. Which makes no sense. I told him if I have to come back I'm not paying for them to fix my nails it should be free after paying 110 for a fill in and design. He told me it wouldn't be free. Of course I got frustrated because what do you mean. Then he repeated that I can sit down now and he can "fix for me" . I repeated that I didn't have the time to sit. He then asked why am I here. Now as a customer I didn't owe him that explanation but I live and work close so that's why I was able to swing by and I also felt I should have received a refund. He then tells me to calm down and atp I'm still calm I'm not loud or obnoxious but I'm clearly frustrated which I am well within my right to be. We literally went back and forth about me being calm then he finally asked when can I come back. I proceeded to look at my calendar and he says I have to get back to my client to rush me and pretty much let me know Im no longer important now that they have my money. I told him the least he could do was let me find the best date for me to come back which is another inconvenience because that's time and more gas I have to waste. Nonetheless I tell him Monday and he tells me that I have to come back by Friday. So now I'm even more upset because I'm going on a trip which I just explained and I am not cutting my trip short for nails. It's bad enough they look the way they do. He attempts to go back and forth with me on the day then eventually accepts that Monday will be the appointment and at 630. Then at 730 my appointment was cancelled. This whole experience was a mess and unprofessional. read more

Color wasn't what I expected. It was very difficult to see under his bright light and dark studio. I contacted him right away, instead of offering to fix it, he blamed me. Then he said he would fix it, but charge me. Very overpriced for basic nails. Charges extra for everything, including putting a glitter polish on nails. I Just recently went here 5/28/24 they do a good job but they charge you for everything if you have dip they charge $10 to take off then charge you $50 to put back. I had to go back the next day due to poor quality after paying an additional $15 for a design Daniel argued me and said it was my fault of why the paint was chipping on all my nails. He also kept saying I'm taking it off for free for you as if he was doing me a favor. I asked that he removes the design and reimburse me and add it to my next visit he refused until we were going back and forth. He then agreed to give me a $10 certificate which wasn't even the amount paid for the design. He kept saying I paid the tech not him. I went in the salon at 5pm and had to return next day 9:40 am due to chipping paint which he says was gel. Then time came to pay he had all these additional fees and I had to go through them and he took off 4 items that I didn't even have service to. I feel the new nail tech did great on my pedicure she was brand new first day but the quality of products were not good. Daniel then lied to me saying the salon wasn't his For 2 regular pedicures with gel, & dip I paid $170 Unfortunately, I will not be returning, I will be going back to my regular nail salon! read more
