I like to eat here for lunch or dinner when I'm craving Salvadorean food. However, 12-1 is a very busy timeframe and should be considered for those in a hurry. There is plenty of seating imside, including both booths and tables. My favorite dish of choice is a Pupusa. I have tried and like the spinach and cheese, pork, and bean flavors. The plantains with cream and beans are a must, and one order can be shared. The food comes with a side of spicy cabbage and salsa. I enjoy the horchata or the mango/pineapple flavored drinks. The meal is never expensive so I appreciate staying within budget because of that. The servers speak English, although broken. The menu is in English and Spanish, and there are pictures for reference too. The interior is decorated brightly with desert and other murals. I always leave feeling stuffed and satisfied!

I love the ambience of this restaurant! it is like visiting a local Salvadorian family restaurant in salvador. Great service! always with a smile! and the food is made to order, fresh and delicious. we had four different types of pupusas: spinach and cheese, beans and cheese, chicken and cheese, and loroco and cheese. the populus were all delicate and perfectly made and served at the right temperature. The corridor (a salvadorial cabbage based slaw) was quite spicy but fresh and flavorful, tangy and citrusy. They also have a large array of other great dishes on the menu and a small section of the menu is dedicated to Dominican Republic dishes so I was very excited to order the fried plantains which were done perfectly.

My family and I have been coming here for several years and it is always good. I really like pupusas and these are some the best I've had. The food quality is high and the freshness is apparent. The food is El Salvadoran, the closest analog is Mexican but it is not Mexican food. The flavors are blended differently and you don't get Curtido in Mexico. Curtido is a cabbage based condiment that is served in a glass jar on the table and can be added to anything, it has a little kick to it. The staff is very friendly and just about everyone speaks English, not that that should ever stop you from trying a restaurant. For the price you will not find better food and in many cases you won't find better at much higher prices.

Let me start by saying this was my first pupusas experience. Despite being one of the first people there, it took some time to be seated. Apparently if you're eating in, it's seat yourself. Hard to tell because there is no sign. The waitresses were very friendly. The food was HOT and served quickly. It was very unique, but tasty. The prices were cheap. I'm excited to come back and try some different items.

Hoy compré pupusas y una orden de yuca, la yuca dura sin nada de sabor, y las pupusas más quemadas. Poor Service .

This must be someone's grandmother cooking and she just happens to have a restaurant. Authentic. Don't pass this place up. Amazing food.

We enjoyed strawberry margaritas, queso, Mayan fajitas, steak tacos and kids Mac & cheese. Service was great & the restaurant was very clean. Would definitely go back if we're in Chattanooga.

The bathrooms are always clean, which I appreciate. Paid street parking is usually easy to find, though during busy hours it can take a little more time. The veggie fajitas are an absolute treat and full of flavor. The guacamole is fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the salsa is truly top notch. One of the most delightful surprises is that the churros are vegan, and they are unforgettable. The Papillón dish is especially meaningful. It can be made vegan and comes from the owner's grandmother's recipe in Guatemala. That personal touch really shines through and makes the menu feel inspired and unique. There used to be a young blonde male bartender who was hands down one of the best servers I have ever had. He was personable and somehow remembered both your order and your conversations even months later. That level of hospitality really stood out. Prices are not cheap, and the ingredients are not explicitly organic, but the quality, flavor, and thoughtful menu make it well worth it. Highly recommend if you are looking for consistently great food and a standout dining experience in Chattanooga.

My friend and I came here, got seated quickly, and ordered right away. We both got horchata and three pupusas. I picked a Chicken, Chicken and Cheese, and Bean and Cheese pupusas. When I first ordered it I wasn't sure how large the pupusas would be and if it would be enough. But after seeing it and eating, the portion size was perfect. Every bite was delicious. The filling inside was delicious and had a generous amount. But don't even get me started on the sides. The curtido (pickled veggies/vinegar slaw) was incredible. When they dropped off our food, they also gave us a full container of curtido. After we were done with our food, our container was finished as well. There was only juice left inside and if I wasn't full, I would've drank that thing. It had the perfect tang, not too vinegar-y or too acidic, and the vegetables were so crunchy and fresh. And the salsa too! Flavorful, had a nice kick, perfect spice level. I've heard good things about this place for years and after coming here, it's not hard to see why. I look forward to coming back here again.

We stayed in Chattanooga 5 days and we were here 4/5 days. Only because we didn't find out about it until the day after we got there. From the salsas, to the hospitality, to the crispy but warm delicious pupusa! This place is a must. The sizing of the pupusa was generous. I lost count of how many mixtas I ate - combo of frijoles chicharrón y queso. Overall a 10/10 experience and WILL be going back another time in life. Muchas gracias por el servicio.
