    Chicken bowl!
    Avi R.

Located right next to the food lion in Blue Ridge, GA. Guagio is a great place with wide variety of mexican and latin food menu items (arepas etc.) We tried the chicken bowl (comes with rice, pico, beans) & steak bowl (sides + tortillas). The bowls were great portions and tasted amazing. We also got free chips and salsa. The salsa tasted fresh! They have plenty of seating inside and the service was fast. Overall a good place for mexican/latin food.

got the taco plate, two steak and one chicken taco, the steak was very juicy and flavorful, the chicken was flavorful. the onions in the tacos were grilled which was really good, the salsa verde is good, their rice and beans is my favorite, so much flavor and the beans consistency is perfect. 14.97 for this plate, i come here at least once a month. the staff is very nice and accommodating as well

This place is the BEST LATIN CUISINE in Blue Ridge! My family and I often visit Blue Rudge and the last time we were here this restaurant didn't exist however while visiting Blue Ridge we were craving Spanish food and thankfully we found it here at Guagio. Located in a plaza next to a grocery store it is decked out (proudly) with Colombian and Mexican art. It is colorful, very spacious, the service was great and the food was PHENOMENAL! They started us with complementary chips and in house made salsa and I ordered an Arepa Pepiada with a side of yuca fries. Oh my goodness! It was flavorful, fresh and left me wanting more. The portion was big I didn't have dinner that night, super filling. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, she was friendly and got to share a bit about the start of the restaurant. I found out it it family owned and operated and a staple for the local community. If you are reading this and are in the Blue ridge area (or visiting) please stop by,enjoy and support.

So yummy and the best fusion food in the area. Giovani greeted us and was able to help pick the best selections

Wow, this was the perfect little spot for some authentic Latin cuisine, during our mountain getaway. The star of the show for me was the charro beans (seasoned perfectly) , they were so tasty came back a second day just for those. Give me an authentic empanada as some charro beans and I'm a happy girl, they were chefs kiss!! Everybody's food at our table was great from the stuffed burritos to the Carne Asada to even the unique bowls.

This is by far the best Latin dining in Blue Ridge! It's become a favorite of ours for their delicious offerings, clean dining area and friendly staff. The chef prides himself not just on the fabulous taste of the food, but the presentation!

Saw a review and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever. Started with empanadas and cheese bread. OMG my eyes rolled back with the bread. Yeast bread with 1/2" cubes of cheese melted throughout. My sister had bowls and I tried an arepas. Absolutely incredible. Their homemade sauces were a delight. Going back before vacation is over.

Our group of 4 were all impressed with this strip mall eatery! The service was outstanding, especially Giovanni our waiter. The bartender was wonderful too. To say we FEASTED is an understatement!! We were hungry and wanted to taste everything. Our meal started with delicious chips and salsa. I had a Mango Margarita rimmed with sugar (salt was an option too). We tasted the Mexican Street Corn first, it tasted as good as it looked! We tried their El Pastor Tacos, a Carne Asada Arepa, yucca fries, refried beans and rice. They provide a carrier full of a variety of sauces too. You must try all of them ! Yummy!!! Addictive!!! I'm both sad and relieved this flavor bomb of a restaurant is over 600 miles from where we live. I'll miss that amazing food, but I can see myself packing on the pounds by going there too much. Lol! Try it! You won't be disappointed!

The sauces are insanely good. Salsa excellent. Had an arapa and a torta. Eat here - worth it. Portion sizes also enough to take home.

Made a rare appearance in Gwinnett today to run an errand. Really didnt want to since Brazil vs…read moreSwitzerland we're playing and the World Cup had been amazing up to this point. Luckily I got the bright idea to try to kill two birds with one stone and grab some grub while catching what was left of the game. Since I've been to Colombia quite a few times I figured I'd compare their cuisine to what I'm used to seeing and tasting when actually traveling out that way. Sure enough they were showing the game on a nice big screen with a couple of other folks in there with me on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't packed wasn't completely empty just like I like it. Their menu actually has both what you typically see in a Colombian restaurant in Medellin or Bogota while adding a lot of other options that you might not see at a typical Colombian restaurant in Colombia. The food actually turned out to be tastier than expected. The salad was very fresh...freshness and simplicity being signature adjectives used in describing good Colombian fare. The Pechuga de Limon...Lemon Chicken Breast was tasty with the right amount of tang and salt without being overwhelming. Rice and maduros (Sweet Plantains) were good as well. Meal ran me $14 which was the only part that did not remind me of Colombia lol. But quite fair for Atlanta. This place is in a plaza where you dont have to worry about parking. Service was also very good. And as a bonus I discovered that they have rumbas on Friday and Saturday nights til 4am. I am quite excited to partake in that! Maybe it will feed my frequent hunger to get on a plane and salsa outside the states. To be continued...

Ok my Colombian friends!!! This is an authentic Colombian restaurant. The server told us that all…read morethe food is prepared in the restaurant :) one star for homie food. I tried the passion fruit juice without sugar (it's good they give you the option to choose if you'd like sugar or not), another star for that. They brought us chips and salsa on a side, which made me feel like I was in a Mexican restaurant. If the owner could change that for the Colombian "pan de bono" it would be the cherry on top, nothing more Colombian that a good pan de bono. I ordered chicken with mushroom sauce that was delicious. I substituted vegetables for the rice. The beans weren't tasty at all, I would cook them with natural broth, more veggies and spices. The server was friendly, polite and was attentive, another star because of him. Keep up the hard work guys, I know you've only been open for 6 month. I'm sure you'd get better.
