Seating is plentiful and plush, allowing you to get comfortable with ease. Customer service was decent, but one issue is that at times the bar stand is unattended even when not busy and there is no way to alert staff that you're there. However, the staff were polite and courteous. There are several arcade cabinets of different genres, pool tables, and a ping pong table. The entertainment options are vast and varied, making it difficult to find yourself bored during your stay. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be placing some device that allows you to alert staff that you're there, such as a bell. Another suggestion would be to add a smart fridge vending machines that allow you visitors access to non-alcoholic beverages such as water, soda, or juice. This would be especially convenient for visitors like me who're not interested in alcohol and want a quick grab and go beverage. The Dogpound Sports bar fulfills its goals well, providing a comfortable space that serves as a great rest spot and entertainment center and is a great break spot for anyone coming from intense exercise or trying to escape Florida's heat like I was.

Here is what happened- The Chain- Based in Tampa, there are around 140 locations with the majority in Florida. They can be either franchised or corporately owned. They tend to use existing spaces so the interiors can vary quite a bit. Over the years, I think I've been to four of them. Arriving- This one is on the northbound side of US Route 27. It's in a plaza fronted by the local MickyD's. Just look for the golden arches. Plenty of easy parking. Pro Tip- If you are a Yelp Check In person you'll frown. The address is screwed up and maps about 5 miles away so no Check In! Ambience- These guys bill themselves as a Family Sports Restaurant and that's about right. Zillions of TVs! You'll be surprised how small it is. The u-shaped bar seats about 15. Booths around the edges and mostly high tops in the middle. There is nothing unique about it. It's clean & neat and otherwise unremarkable. Adult Libations- Full bar with maybe ten taps and lots of bottles. Not a fancy craft beer place. You'll have seen the selection many times. I ordered a pint of Goose Island IPA @ $6.50 but it was 2 for 1 so not only tasty but a great deal. Wi-Fi- Kind of a mess and needs work. There are four or five unsecured obvious listings, but they either had no internet or required registration which I'll never do. Fortunately, Xfinity had a strong local hotspot, so I was good to go.
