Biscotti in every flavor you can think of. Very old school, walking in is like stepping back in time. And wow, the aromas. Panettone, amaretti cookies, cannoli. It smells heavenly. Service is top notch. I merely mentioned that my man love's white chocolate, & we were instantly given lemon white chocolate biscotti to sample. Sfogliatelle is a specialty here. Multilayered lemony flaky goodness. This was a first for me; I didn't even try it when I was in Italy. It is divine. A must order. We also took home a bag of the lemon white chocolate biscotti. All natural ingredients. This is some of the best biscotti in the Bay Area. An Italian specialty bakery that should be on everyone's list. 5 stars

Hidden gem! My SO and I had driven by multiple times but it was late and they were closed, so one morning he stopped by after a nearby appointment and surprised me with a few of the best cannoli I've ever had. We tried both chocolate and chocolate chip and while my favorite was the chocolate chip, I would not be mad if someone brought me the chocolate ones either. Both are fantastic. I was told that they fill them fresh while you wait, so the shells are thick and crispy and there's tons of delicious filling. We also tried the Sfogliatelle which was equally lovely. Light and crispy layers with a hint of citrus. So good. Several weeks later we returned to try the panettone and it too was outstanding. Next on the list is Struffoli, which are only available for a few days at Xmas. A new favorite place that I'm sure we will stop by again and again.

Oh my goodness this is such a cute family owned place!! I love the decor and I felt like I was back in the 1940s or something?! They're display cases are antique looking and very eclectic! Everything is made there in the store/bakery and boxed/bagged. I was a bit confused because the sign said that they were open, but you had to ring a doorbell for somebody/the owner to come downstairs and unlock the door. He told me he was baking upstairs and couldn't leave the door/store unattended. So I completely understand! The gentleman I spoke to was a sweet older gentleman with a cute accent! He told me about the number of different flavored biscotti's, and the traditional flavors and I got four different styles. I got the lemon with white chocolate, with dark chocolate, the gluten-free little cookie circle things, and, almond tart! There is a 3.75% charge if you use a credit card, so I decided to pay in cash! Each bag was about 10 or $12 so I was fine with that since it's a local mom and pop shop and everything's made fresh!! I will definitely go back again!!

Cannoli 7/10, biscotti 10/10! Get the lemon almond with white chocolate coating. You're welcome:)

Had to come by and try the cannoli since the reviews seemed promising. We got four cannolis and 2 biscottis to try. To my surprise the biscottis are AMAZING but the cannoli was a bit of a let down. The cannoli was just okay not the best I've had. The guy that works there was very nice but when I come back I will load up on the biscotti's! The lemon almond with white chocolate coating is DELICIOUS. The biscotti is not rock hard and had big chunks of almonds. I can't wait to go back and grab other biscotti flavors. See picture for reference. Overall 4.50 stars.

The BEST biscotti!!! I went here today and bought one bag each of: - Chocolate Chip "no almond" Biscotti - Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti, also without almonds and chocolate dipped on one side $11 each The taste can't be beat. I didn't see the bags of "broken" biscotti that are cheaper, maybe I missed them. On prior visits I've seen focaccia but not today. They're perfect for parties or a tailgater; biscotti does it for me. Today is "Buy Nothing" Day but I couldn't resist the allure of good biscotti. I tried Trader Joe's biscotti and was disappointed by its dry tastelessness. Parking: I circled the block twice and could not find street parking so I parked in the lot adjacent to La Biscotteria. The owner of the bakery said it was OK. **Cash or credit only, no credit cards. I also had a sample of panettone which was not bad; usually I don't like it. The sfogliatella were calling out to me but I resisted for today, next time. Hours: - Closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday - 8:00 am-4:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - 6:00 am-2:00 pm on Saturday I came yesterday(Thursday) at 4:20 and was disappointed, don't be like me! The door is kept locked, follow the sign instructions and ring the doorbell ONCE, and someone will let you in. The guy today was older than last time, he was polite and probably the owner.

    Sfogliatelle - YES!

Mmm....Italian pastries: cannolis...biscotti....sfogliatelle...OH MY!! To be honest, i didn't know if this place was still open as i didn't see any recent reviews....BUT alas they are! Went to their website as I was in search of anise biscotti as not that many places (in the area) offer that flavor...of course, that's when I noticed they're still offering fresh pastries of one of my fave Italian desserts: sfogliatelle! This shell-shaped pastry was super crispy, flaky with multi-layers filled with a light amount of orange-scented ricotta. OMG...it was wonderful....If you haven't had these, you need to go and get the 6 minis...amazing! When you get there, ring the bell to get buzzed in....there will be a limited amount of freshly baked sfogliatelle and cannolis so would recommend ordering online the DAY BEFORE (before 12pm) for pick up the next day. That way you get to experience these wonderful treats. While there, I also picked up some amaretti cookies which were full of almond flavor and soft and reminded me of almond madeleines. YUM! Definitely a change from the Stella D'oro cookies I used to get as a kid or the Lazzaroni Amaretti Cookie Snaps from World Market! :) Place is super cute with shelves lined with Italian cookie jars, variety of flavored biscotti, amaretti, almond tortes (Yeah gotta love almonds!) and fresh pastries at the counter. It does make you want to try everything.....will get some cannollis and more sfogliatelle on my next visit! ** Support this small, family owned business! ** Plenty of street parking and located on El Camino Real in Redwood City. For reference, arrived about 10 am on Saturday and I was the only one there. YAY!

The biscotti's from this wonderful company can't be beat. I have been buying them for years from the Olive Oil manufacturing company in St Helena. But I devour them almost daily so I needed to go to the source. They are very "online ordering" savvy. My request was delivered in a very timely manner. Now I don't have to drive to St Helena (not hard work) to get my biscotti from La Biscotteria *

Service is fast. Not a lot of seating inside, but there are a couple additional small tables for 2-4 people outside on the patio. Chose the cheapest item on the menu, which was the taro ube sago for $7.95 before tax. Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up taro ube sago, so at best, I'd say it only meets the standard. It was more of a dessert soup than a pudding, which is what I expected. Serving size definitely way too small for the portion amount, even if you say the glass jar itself costs ~$2 (and that feels like a generous estimate). I've made an entire pot of taro sago that served 15 people that cost about $8 in raw ingredients. Personally don't see the value in coming back, but if you're looking for Chinese desserts in a pinch, then this place does the job.
