The ice cream was good, but the customer service made it not worth it. They didn't acknowledge me or make me feel welcome. I stood there for 5 minutes, had 2 workers walk by us and 1 standing behind the counter literally 3 feet away at most, and no one said anything or even looked at us. I had to walk up to someone and start the conversation before they even acknowledged my existence. This experience made me not want to go back. What a joke! We walk in and they ask if we have ever been here before? We say no and they go over their drinks. We realize then that ice cream is off to the side. We look at the menu and order the first ice cream. The girl making the ice cream is a tad slower than a sloth. A group comes in and they ask us if we are going to order more? We say yes, we were waiting for her/someone to ask. Assuming the same girl is taking our order. They then tell us we have to go back to the other counter to order and they help all the new people. read more

I had the worst experience here. It was my first time getting rolled ice cream and I was so excited to try it I looked in yelp to find a good place and figured based on some reviews you guys would be the best bet. First of all, my order was incorrect. Second, whoever the girl was that rolled my ice cream must not have had any idea what she was doing. First she had the surface too cold, then it was to hot, back to too cold, my ice cream wouldn't roll. This is my daughters favorite place she wants me to take her to. We get the unicorn smoothies and they are fun and great tasting. Its very swanky on the inside and out of place but its seriously good and a cool place to visit and enjoy desert. I wanted so badly to LOVE this place.....However, this is NOT the case! When the drinks are made correctly and the Boba is fresh, it's Awesome....but out of maybe 10 visits that has sadly happened only once. The staff for the most part is rude....I've only had 2 experiences where they were decent.....I wait 15 minutes plus for our drinks- that's beginning the time when the person ahead of us walks out the door! And just to be clear, these are just milk teas....not frappe or smoothie type drinks.....and usually there is only 2 drinks.....also everyone ordering after us receives their drinks before us.....I'm just beyond disappointed. At one point, I stated the drink didn't taste like before and was told by staff, " Come back next time and we'll make it like before"......oh, okay....Thanks! Being in the restaurant business myself in the past.....I would never tell a customer " Come back next time and we'll make your steak the way you ordered it then"......I read the reviews about the staff being rude, the inconsistency of the product, but I just wanted Boba!!! I love this place! Very good tea options and several types of boba/jellies. There is something here for any taste! The ice cream rolls are wonderful too - I had the taro coconut. Because of the way it freezes, it's thicker and smoother texture - similar to gelato. The building is cool, I love the decor inside. I LOVE boba tea, Boba tea from California, New York, North Carolina, Japan, China, Ireland, New Zealand. I was beyond excited when I found this place in Springfield, but oh my gosh no. My husband and I tried more than once, every time it was horrible. The tea taste dirty, the jelly in some is nasty and taste rotten. I tried, I really did. Delicious rolled ice cream but only three stars based on service. My husband and I ordered together. I received my ice cream and by the time I finished his was done. There were two people making ice cream so I'm not sure what the problem was. They don't take names for orders so other customer who just ordered can steal your order. Drove 25 minutes to get to the cafe only to be told that they stop serving ice cream 30 minutes before close. Well, they stopped before that because we were there at 7:27 and the ice cream was completely cleaned out of the area. When I worked in a restaurant, you closed machines closer to actual closing time of the restaurant and cleaned up after the store was closed. Disappointed to say the least. Hesitantly, I tried a boba drink at a Vietnamese restaurant here in town with a friend and discovered a new favorite, so when I found this cafe I was very happy~a restaurant specializing in this drink! They have smoothies, coffees, milk teas and even snow cones, all with fresh fruits, unique flavors, and different bobas to choose from and so far I have loved every one that I've tried. The La Boba Special and the Honeydew melon smoothies are my favorites so far, and today I tried the Love Passion with strawberry infused boba (strawberry, mango and peach I think--so good though a little heavy on the peach). The staff has been very friendly and patient as I've stood looking at the menu, trying to decide which one I'd like to try and even offered samples of the different bobas and jellies to help me try before I buy. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try something new, to have a smoothie that has actual fruit in it, or an iced coffee that isn't heavy on the ice. I came here because I heard of this place from others. I thought to my self, why not give it a whril? I have never had boba anything before so I came here with my family, cause they have had boba before in Japan. I had the peach boba, they had the melon boba and green tea boba. To my surprise they were really good. We came here the 2nd time so this time I had the lychee smoothie with boba. I really like this place its really relaxing and truly enjoy myself there. They have free wi-fi and two tvs if you're into that kind of stuff. They not only have boba, but a variety of smoothies, cold drinks, teas hot/cold, signature drinks and milk teas. Good place to relax, they don't serve any foods and they will (if not already), be serving ice cream prepared on a anti griddle.
