This place is a total scam This place is a total scam. They are engaging in blatant false advertisement, charging premium prices for absolute junk. I bought what I thought was a high-end band for my Apple Watch, only to realize the exact same cheap, low-quality band is sold at Target and Amazon for a third of the price. The moment I opened the box, I was shocked. The photos online are clearly "enhanced" to look luxury, but the physical product is flimsy and doesn't match the description at all. When I immediately emailed to request a full refund, they started playing games. They claimed they wanted to "ensure my satisfaction" but insisted I send them a photo of the bracelet first--which is ridiculous since I had just received it and told them it was in the original condition. I sent them my original invoice to prove the purchase and reiterated that I simply do not want the item. Since then? Total radio silence. They have completely stopped responding to my emails. To make matters worse, their phone line is a joke; it seems to exist only to tell you they don't take calls or to leave you hanging. Do not waste your money here. You're paying "luxury" prices for dollar-store quality and zero customer support. read more

I have shopped vintage and consignment shops across the country, and this one is my favorite for many reasons: it's nearby to my home in Brighton, the store's organized well and smells nice, there's a designer section, and prices are very fair. But the very best part about this store is that there are two very nice dark-haired women who make it a pleasure to visit. They are helpful without being intrusive; friendly without being obsequious. It's fun to see the fashionable ensembles they always wear, the beautiful displays they create, and to be treated with their particular brand of courteous professionalism. Several times, one or the other has helped me put together an outfit with accessories for a special occasion. They both have an intuitive sense for what makes an outfit especially elegant: their instincts for design and style are always spot on. They make shopping an exciting adventure! read more

"Le Boutique" is one of the best ladies clothing consignment stores I have worked with AND shopped at. The store is always sparkling and there are so many great finds. Everything is very fresh, in-style, and well displayed. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In my opinion, Terry, one of the co-owners, has been one of the most helpful shopping assistants I've had in a long time. She really takes time to listen to what brands and styles your currently looking for and then make educated suggestions upon discussing what's on your mind. Consigning here is so effortless. No appointment is needed and there is generally not a long wait. "Le Boutique" only consigns on Friday and Saturday and they prefer you to bring your clothes in on hangers and be seasonally appropriate (no sweaters in summer, etc). They have an online consignment tracking app once your items have been accepted into the store. This is GREAT because you can tell, from the comfort of your laptop and sofa, exactly what items have sold and when. "Le Boutique" is also generous for those who both consign at the store and shop. Consignors automatically receive a discount off each purchase made. I always look forward to consigning here. If you haven't stopped in GO! If it's been awhile since you've been, GO! This a women's clothing and accessory store that resells higher end items. I have been buying my wife gift certificates for at lease the past 10 years and she is always very happy to get these and run down to the store to get something very nice and reasonable. There are always interesting and new items every time we go and look forward the visits. We both love the store. read more

I drove 30+ minutes to check this place out and I was VERY disappointed. When I walked into the main part of the shop, the floor was creaking terribly. I had originally went in to look at the handbags and it seemed like there was a decent selection but I was let down when I saw COUNTERFEIT bags with their original and clearly fake tags still attached (Michael Kors, Gucci, etc) being sold for $70+ and tagged as "inspired" despite the bag clearly having the brand name on them. Not only is it illegal to sell fakes, it also makes the "upscale" feeling that this owner supposedly wants you to feel, seem cheap and tacky. As far as the other items, there was only 1 small "designer rack" and everything else seemed pretty average for a resale shop and the same goes for the few authentic designer bags they have inaccessible to customers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend making a trip to this place unless you're local and looking for pretty average second hand items and even then, you may be able to find a different place with better pricing. TL;DR Does not feel Upscale by any means. Owner willingly accepts and try's to sell fake designer bags for a high price. Also, it smells unpleasant inside. read more

Located in downtown Howell near the main four corners, right in the heart of the action.This easily the snazziest resale shop I have ever seen! Very posh! Clever displays. Charming dressing rooms. An eclectic mix of consignment and new merchandise. An emphasis on womens upscale clothing and accessories with a few decorating items tossed in. Everything from designer fashions and handbags to plush throws, charming lamps, and beautiful little accessories. Great prices and a very friendly staff. I LOVE this place! read more

This is one of my favorite stores and has been a staple in Downtown Howell for 15 years. I was there yesterday, and some of the very, friendly staff (15 yrs friendly) let me know of this review. I realize it's hard to please everyone, but, Em L. seems to have been having a BAD DAY, that's all I can say. A building from the 1870's that has squeaky floors is NOT a reason to give a one-star rating. Knotty pine from the 1800's that squeaks give a store character and charm. As far as the bags you make such a big deal of, they are clearly marked "designer inspired"..... no one is trying to be dishonest. And yes, there is a long, antique showcase filled with authentic designer bags including 3 exquisite, never-worn Louis Vuitton bags. For those of us who can't afford them, there are an assortment of designer inspired bags for $70. (Ever been to a purse party)? If you think LeBoutique is AVERAGE, I'd like to know what you think is impressive. This store has consistently won the Channel 4 ClickonDetroit.com contest and has been showcased on live Detroit television modeling their current inventory. Who are you, Em L.? I have been consigning with Le Boutique for over 4 years and I've never experienced such professional, helpful and kind people! Their merchandise is top-of-the-line and in perfect condition and instead of taking the monies that I make from my consignments, I usually spend it in the store because there are so many great buys!! I do an after-hours private party every year for my family and friends which the store encourages customers and consigners to take advantage of. My favorite upscale retail shop is LeBoutique in Howell, MI. The store is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a treat to go to a consignment shop that offers clean and trendy clothing and shoes. Nothing is outdated or drab and shopping is fun. The purses and jewelry are beautifully displayed and in style and often, unique. The fitting rooms are lovely. I live out of state now and visit many consignment shops but none come close to this one. It is a pleasure shopping there. read more
