Have rented tuxes from Brighton Tux for over 20 years. Just recently, my son got married. He based his decision to rent from here (even though we moved to the Jackson area over 6 years ago) on the great service that is provided by the staff. This particular rental for me, as the groom's dad, was memorable. A friend of ours in the wedding returned all 7 tuxes. All was good until I realized I lost my wallet! Thinking I may have left it in the tux pants, I called and Rick went to check to see if my wallet was there. He said he would check. Sure enough, he found my wallet and promptly called me back to let me know he found it! As a woman, I was afraid that I would be harassed or turned away from renting a tuxedo. Christopher was wonderful and helped me find a beautiful and well-fitting tuxedo. We discussed the colors I was trying to match and he offered very helpful suggestions on vest color. The rental tux came in early and Christopher was able to make quick tailoring adjustments to the jacket arms. The tux and accessories were in great condition. Let's just say I rocked the tuxedo!! Brighton Tux Shop saved our bacon. I was the best man in a wedding last Saturday and had spent the previous three days trying to get the shirts right for all of the groomsmen from Men's Wearhouse. Brighton Tux Shop provided the tuxes for the groom, groomsmen, and my father for my February 9, 2013 wedding in Brighton, MI. We had visited Men's Warehouse initially (because we had a couple of out-of-state groomsmen) and were not impressed with the service or the variety available. We were looking for charcoal grey tuxes that wouldn't break the bank for our groomsmen. I had met the owner of Brighton Tux Shop at a bridal show at Waldenwoods Resort so we decided to check it out - I am so glad that we did! Not only did they have an excellent variety at GREAT prices, they were very personable and obviously knew what they were doing! The out-of-town groomsmen were not an issue at all, they just called or emailed in their measurements for their tux orders and they were good to go! I loved that not only were they so accommodating, but if anything had gone wrong or if we'd needed a new size at the last minute, their warehouse was nearby (ferndale I believe?) so it was available for a quick-fix if needed. Luckily everyone's tuxes came in just right and the boys looked wonderful! Brighton Tux Shop offered experience, variety, and value. They were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful and I would absolutely recommend them for tuxedo rentals. read more

Excellent service - visited last weekend to look for a tux with my fiancé for our upcoming wedding in July and Rick was awesome! We basically showed him a Pinterest picture of what we had in mind and he worked with us to recreate that (almost exactly) for an amazing price. They have great quality suits and a really nice range of colors/patterns to choose from. They also make it easy for groomsmen out of state or in a different city to get a suit with the right measurements, which was important for us. Also, we came in an hour before close and Rick was by himself and had a couple other customers walk in at the same time, I really appreciated that he never once made us feel rushed or pressured.. he is very knowledgeable about the tuxes, friendly, helpful, and patient.
