This place is dope. The sauce they add in their fish tacos...damn, it's good. I also bought their street (carne asada) tacos which were good; but if you add their red salsa you'll make it really good! The salsa they have is really really good; like their red salsa had/has a nice smokey taste that has a kick. The green sauce is also dank, and their avocado based salsa has a smooth taste. I also tried out their carne asada torta-- damn, that was good, too. It was like eating a Mexican burger; they definitely know what's up. And lastly, the shrimp tostada... It wasn't as great as I was anticipating it to be. It had a simple taste. But it was nothing their sauce couldn't fix. Overall, this place is a good choice to eat at. It was packed when I went on a Sunday afternoon; so anticipate a possibly long line. They are quick with their service, so that actually shouldn't be an issue. I had the fish taco and potato taco and they were AMAZING!!!! I felt like I was tasting something they made on a cooking show - flavors were blended perfectly with just the right crunch. When ever I miss tacos de camarón or de pescado from Ensenada , Mex this is where I'll be coming. I'm not gonna say they taste the same but they are still very good. They also have non-seafood options which is great because I have a picky 5 yr old who doesn't touch sea food. She had a sope which was very tasty. I can't believe I haven't written a review on this place! I've been coming here a year and everything is delicious. Fish tacos are the best I've had. Potato tacos are my favorite when I'm being a fake vegetarian. Beans and rice are yum! Carne Asada taste like it was marinated in love! Yes, I'm laying it on thick for this place. I ordered fish and chips just because today and it too was delicious! They win in a town that lacks much to be desired in the fast food arena. This is fast food made right and authentic. My favorite restaurant in the City of Perris - never disappoints! I've been eating here for more than 10 years. I miss the sopes that dropped off the menu during the pandemic, but all the tacos are great (delicious meat) and I'm a big fan of the shrimp tostada and nachos. The food is very authentic!! I absolutely love their food. My favorite is the Sopes, they are hand made to perfection! I am very picky when it comes to food, and am very skeptical of trying sopes any where. I usually order the shrimp tacos (which are delish by the way) or the tacos de papa (potato tacos also delish), Since the other food I tried here was good i decided to try the sopes.. and holy mother of pearl! They are good! I don't recall having sopes as good as this place any where else. But then again, there aren't too many authentic places either. Unless you live in San Diego or Los Angeles of course. Delicious! This is coming from a taco truck enthusiast... the pastor tacos are some of the best I've ever had. They have a mega stacked salsa and condiment bar that's always fresh and plentiful. Friendly service and quick well prepared food that doesn't come covered in a greasey slime like other local places. So I told you to order the pastor tacos. Probably the one thing worth avoiding at La Bufadora would be the schrimp burrito. Its a little to saucy for my taste but on the good side does come stacked with petite schrimp inside. Please skip taco bell and try this place! If you can't seem to find it, just face the Cardenas market and look south (to your left) there's a little strip of restaurants and shops including a chinese restaurant and a dominos. I moved here recently and noticed all the high reviews for this place. I ordered the chicken burrito combo and it was really good. I checked-in on yelp and saved 10% on my bill which is basically your tax. There's plenty of seating and the usual salsa bar. The salsa bar was really well stocked, clean, and they had baggies. They were not stingy about the limes. They had plenty of the pickled onions, carrots, and chiles. Place was well kept and the customer service was very friendly. There's always a crowd at this site. I'll have to go back for the tacos and classic carne asada burrito. Good Mexican food, clean facility, a little slow & disorganized on the day I was there. I got the carne asada fries and my friend sprung for the chicken quesodilla. We very well may have been the only white people present in the crowded strip mall restaurant, so I shouldn't have been so surprised when they called out our order in Espanol. The ordering line was all the way to the door (aka only 3 people long, since the restaurant layout isn't very well thought out). I don't know why it took the cashier so long to process orders, maybe she was new? It took at least 2 people to figure out how to process the yelp check-in deal. The horchata was good, but was almost gone by the time the food came out- it took so long! I liked the carne asada fries (most importantly, the meat was delicious), but my friend asked for no sour cream and was met with it anyways when she opened her box. A year later, and I still love this place. It's owned by a family, with the same smiling face taking my order every time I go in. They're always busy, with tables filling and emptying rapidly, and the condiment bar is well-stocked, clean, and fresh. Best of all, they have great fish (and shrimp!) tacos without crossing the border. I've been to Ensenada several times, and these tacos are right up there with the best. The tempura batter is light and crispy surrounding a generous portion of seafood, drizzled with crema, and topped with cabbage, onion, and cilantro. That is my only complaint and hey ... they really can't help that . They are soooo quick here , the line goes quick and the food is fantastic... We usually order carne asada tacos,burritos, and our fav Sopes.. But this time I ordered a Shrimp Ceveche Tostada, and it was great, only thing missing was (in my opinion) Avocado slices on top . But ill let it pass because the shrimp was so fresh and yummy. I went to this Taco Shop on the recommendation of a friend. The first visit I had a fish taco and a shrimp taco which were very good! Today I went and had a Carnitas Street taco. For $2.50 it was slightly pricey but what was surprising was how little Carnitas was on the taco. I asked if this was a typical amount of Carnitas and was told yes. I've been to many other taco shops that were much more generous with their fillings for the same or less money. I don't think I'll be eating here again. It was rather difficult to determine the quality of the Carnitas and service so little of it on the taco. What I could taste was pretty good. I just wish they were a little bit more generous compared to other tacos I was able to see people eating. read more

Great fish tacos. The shrimp empanadas are bomb. Their guac salsa is spicy yes delicious. I love coming here and so do my Co workers. This is our everyother Friday spot for fish tacos. My family loves this restaurant. According to some people I know, the food is good. I'd stay away from the seafood, it taste really old. Thats the only thing I have ever eaten here. I personally do not eat here, but I am 1 against 5, therefore if those five like the food than perhaps you will too. Theres lots of parking. This joint gets packed. You can order through the phone but there is no special line to pay. You wait with the rest of the crowd. And its very unorganized, so if you're not paying attention people will cut you in line.
