Great fish tacos. The shrimp empanadas are bomb. Their guac salsa is spicy yes delicious. I love coming here and so do my Co workers. This is our everyother Friday spot for fish tacos. The location is sketchy but the spot itself is clean. Decent salsa bar. So I was impressed they had a lent menu but I was not really impressed with the service or the price. Dinner was expensive and I ordered two beers. Admittedly I dropped one so it was my fault but the girl who helped me clean up acted annoyed and didn't offer to replace the beer I didn't even drink from. I went to this Taco Shop on the recommendation of a friend. The first visit I had a fish taco and a shrimp taco which were very good! Today I went and had a Carnitas Street taco. For $2.50 it was slightly pricey but what was surprising was how little Carnitas was on the taco. I asked if this was a typical amount of Carnitas and was told yes. I've been to many other taco shops that were much more generous with their fillings for the same or less money. I don't think I'll be eating here again. It was rather difficult to determine the quality of the Carnitas and service so little of it on the taco. What I could taste was pretty good. I just wish they were a little bit more generous compared to other tacos I was able to see people eating. read more

Best Mexican good in town! I went in with no significant expectations and I left extremely satisfied and impressed! The fish tacos on Wednesday are the best deal in town, they are quality tacos for $1 each. I also had the shrimp burrito with grilled shrimp (you have can friend shrimp as well), very flavorful and very big. The sopes are great as well. The salsa bar is big, clean, fresh and they have different levels of spicy. Also, they have chiles gueros that are very tasty and compliment all the food well! The prices are very generous for the quality and quantity of food. The service is fast and friendly. The only bad thing is that they aren't open 24/7. This place is very authentic! I have been here before and normally even when they are busy I get my food pretty fast. Today it took them 30 mins, which was not busy at all. When they started giving orders to people that got there after us, I asked if my order was ready and the answer was you are next, which was not true. Went in for dinner at around 9pm, had some shrimp tacos and a cocktail shrimp. Great food that satisfies the most raving cravings. The only downside was the location, it's centrally located in Perris, and a bit ghetto. Halfway through our meal, we could hear screaming by the register and everyone started walking up there to overhear the conversation, I tried to dismiss such commotion. Five minutes later, we hear more screaming and cussing from the front of the restaurant, this time I tell my husband that we needed to leave before things got outta control. We leave our half eaten dinner and head towards the door, we catch a glimpse of a dark Mexican man wearing a bullet-proof vest cussing at some cook in the back of the kitchen. His grey Cherokee with chrome rims is parked right in front of the restaurant blocking some cars. We proceed to make our way through the spectators and leave, all the while I'm calling the cops. I could clearly see that the workers and customers were a bit apprehended by all this, they started locking doors and also calling the cops. This place is pretty pricy for the result. $8 for 2 tacos beans rice and drink. I had the al pastor tacos. If not for the onions in top, all I tasted was the corn tortillas. I wasn't blown away. I ordered a number 9 which is two breaded shrimp tacos, beans and rice and I decided to try a michelada. The place was kind of crowded, customer service is great, the environment seemed clean. My food however was okay, the shrimp tacos were very greasy and the white mayo sauce on top ruined them a little more. The other let down is that it's kind of pricey. I don't mind paying more if it's going to taste amazing but this was not worth it. The michelada was good. I probably won't return. read more

Now they took away combos which in one respect I do not like that they force you to get a drink but combos like entrees with beans and rice??? If you order ur entree and get beans and rice it is more than I want to eat! If they do not change I probably will not go back. Excellent shrimp cocktails. The wife and I had a craving for shrimp cocktails and we asked the girl at rite aid. We were pleasantly surprised. It's in a shopping center so it doesn't stick out, you'd have to be looking for it. The cocktails tastes fresh and delicious. The only bad part was that the to go cocktails are significantly smaller than the ones you eat there. Other than that I would have given 5 stars. I guess next time I'll bring some tupperware and dump out my for there cocktail and make it to go. Come on owner just buy bigger to go cups and I'll give you 5 stars. I ordered street tacos through Door Dash. On the Door Dash app, it had a picture of 3 street tacos (kind of deceiving). I assumed when I placed an order for 1, I was getting 1 order of the 3 tacos like the picture. When I called the restaurant to confirm, they told me it was just for 1 taco. (Apparently, this has happened before.) I wanted to add more to my order, but it would have to be through the Door Dash app. Long story short, I decided to keep my order of 1 street taco. Another place that I have had bookmarked for quite some time and finally had a chance to try. A bit disappointing - would like to give it 3.5 stars. Went Saturday early afternoon. Place is quite busy. Food is fresh (except for the rice), and very edible. The problem is a lack of flavor. We shared a shrimp cocktail, each had a fish taco, and also a beef and a pork taco, and rice and beans. The fish taco was definitely the best. Beef and pork were ok. Lots of shrimp in the cocktail, but wound up having to add a lot of cilantro, hot sauce & lime to give it some flavor. Not a destination place. I guess it's ok for Perris. Really miss the tacos from Yaqui's in Rosarito Beach and the cocktails that you can get anywhere on wharf in Ensenada. read more

I've eaten at the location before, always dined in. Stopped by today and placed an order to go, boy was that a mistake! The portion sizes are literally cut in half on a to go order. We ordered a shrimp and octopus cocktail and it was served in a what looked like a 12oz drink cup, ordered 2 ceviche tostadas, the ceviche for both was served in a what you would get a side of salsa in, the total was about $30 and was definitely not worth it. read more
