I am Mexican, so I assure you, I know what I'm talking about as far as Mexican cuisine goes. First of all, this little restaurant is kind of hard to find. It's in the same shopping center as Wal-Mart, but you will probably spend around 5 minutes trying to find it. It's close to Cardenas super market. I went there on a Saturday afternoon for dinner along with my family. It was very crowded, but I also think that has something to do with the fact that it is a very small restaurant. There are around 8 small tables in a small hallway. People were going in and out, but thankfully most were ordering take out. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos (with chopped onion and cilantro). I am a minimalist so I didn't add salsa, in order to taste the meat (no, I am not a pansy!). Service is fast and friendly (no stink eye like Jilbertos in Murrieta). These are probably the best tacos in the Inland Empire. They are on the small taco size tortillas, but the cooks add a hearty amount of meat on each. I will say that the meat is greasy,so stay away if you are on a diet! When I went, they were $1.55 each (I'd call them medium priced). You can't put a price on their taste, though. Anyways, I suggest giving this place a try. I use to avoid Perris at any cost, but I now look forward to going through the small town so I could eat here again. Bufadora owners, please give a thought to expanding to the Murrieta/Temecula area. These people need a wake up call! read more

I love how this place has expanded its business it now has a nice dining area. I have been coming here since I was in middle school and it is still great food. I recently tried their fish and chips during lent and the fish was so so crispy and moist and the serving was huge! The Shrimp and Fish Ceviche Tostadas are twice the size of your average tostada at other places. And the taste is fresh and so so good. Stopped in here by accident about a year ago. Since then have been back 4 times. each time I feel like I am traveling back to Ensenada and enjoying the best fish tacos anywhere. (As far as I know I hold the record of 14 fish tacos in 1 sitting in Ensenada, so I know my way around a fish taco.) The fish tacos are huge and incredible. The shrimp tacos are also excellent. The shrimp burrito is great. Every thing I have tried has been excellent. The staff is excellent and takes pride in their work. The place is clean and brightly decorated and welcoming, not the usual taco shop decor. The salsa bar is unique and the green sauce is the best I have ever had. Looked for something new in the area I frequently travel for work and checked this place out after yelping. I am now writing this after going there a total of three times and can tell you as a big fan of the hole in the wall place that this place serves fresh food at very reasonable prices and has food ready fast. The "Empanadillas de Camaron" are too damn good to describe, all I can say is order them and they won't disappoint. The fish tacos are really good as well, not the best I've ever had but really good. The only drawback I had was the stingy salsa bar, don't get me wrong the salsa and chilles were good, only hard to get to with tiny plastic cups. I ordered chips (which were so fresh and crisp with a light crunch) but had a hard time getting salsa from the tiny cup. Clean place with friendly staff. read more

As general rule when you visit a taco place, you only start with one or two of the most common tacos they have, if they can cook very good and simple taco, is almost for sure The Chef have some mexican food knowledge, is not a matter of putting meat in a tortilla! This place meet and exceed that rule of thumb. Street tacos (carne asada/beef) are very good, as well as Baja Shrimp tacos (grilled) and Quesadilla with Carne asada/shrimp. So far, this side of the border, this is the best Baja style fish tacos we've been able to roll up. La guererra in Ensenada is the best, but this is Perris, and for here and now this is very good. I had the shrimp ceviche, my wife the mini ceviche, fish tacos, and it was all top notch. And they were right the fish tacos are really flavorful. They give big portions. The potato tacos are really good.So far everything I have tried is delicious. A hidden treasure in Perris. They said they have been open for ten years. Where have I been? The place is clean, small, and the food is awesome. I just found a new favorite resturaunt down the street from where we live. The fish tacos are great. They also serve alcohol if you want a drink with your meal. On 1/31/21 I found a hair in my food so I called to let them know and she said she was sorry and she'd leave down my name and number and if I wanted my money back or more food, I told her I just wanted my money back. I then asked if I need to bring the foood so I can save it for the next day because I had work in the morning and couldn't go back at that moment, she said just the recipe was okay so I threw it away. Next morning my boyfriend goes and they tell him he can't get his money back. So I go and speak to the lady and she tells me that since I didn't bring the food in with me I couldn't get my money back, I then tell her I asked about that and there worker told me other wise and she began to tell me that the associate working that night would not answer the phone which I don't see why that is my problem but after a long back and fourth conversation she gave me my money back minus the drinks with an attitude saying" for next time we don't give all the money back unless you bring the food" which was no problem that's why I even asked the night before going back but there staff also needs to know about there restaurant policies and not be giving out false information or next time confirm with a manager before letting customers know. read more

This little hole in the wall can be known as a hidden gem. The tacos and taquitos are fabulous!! Not crazy about all of the sauces being a "free for all" like a buffet because lots of hands touching all that equals germs mixed in with all the sauces. I love this place!!! My favorite is the special sauce. It's a delicious cream they add to most item. I typically get the asada nachos. Mmmmmmm!!! 2nd favorite has to be the fish tacos, but everything is good here. Its well priced too. They recently expanded the dinning area, which was extremely needed since it use to be hard to get a table sometimes. Everything is nearly perfect from a small Mexican restaurant, but it's missing 1 thing to get the 5th star, which is their lack of natural drinks. The tamarindo & jamaica are from syrup which I thinks it's grouse!! They really should have natural Tamarindo & Jamaica. That actually keeps us from going more often. P.S. Their Asada burritos are the BEST in town (anything with Asada, really). Do yourself a favor and try the Carne Asada fries. Amazing! The place is clean and the customer service is great.
