I ordered in from this place while working at the hospital and it was really good much better than Chipotle that's for sure.

First time stopping by this restaurant (located on the back street of where google map directs)…read more The food was delicious! Sophia is in her 70s and is the owner, chef, waitress all-in-one. After making my takeout order she talked with me for 20 minutes about her family, business (has operated this restaurant for 53 years!), and travels. On top of that, she made everything with one hand while wearing a cast from surgery from last week. Such a neat character, restaurant, and amazing food.

She honestly sat down and right away told me about her story told me about her family allowed me to join the conversation as well and it just felt like I was at home just for her. I would come back multiple times as far as the ambience goes. The door is always creating an inviting environment. it's one of the places where you just go and you feel like you're transported to another country where you can just relax. The food also felt very healthy. It wasn't heavy at all. It was a little bit on the pricey red but still, it just felt so homey so organic and overall the ambience made the whole experience.

First time here as we drove through this town and wife's AI search of vegan and gluten free led us here. Upon some studying of the menu wife and I ordered up a storm and the cashier helped us order accordingly to get all the foods we wanted at a lower price point than ordering individually! This man got our back! The food is nothing short of amazing. My chicken and waffle made with oyster mushroom was perfection! Batter was thick but soft. Crunchy yet juicy. Fried but not oily. This dish is a walking contradiction but they walked this fine line and blew this dish out the water! Best chicken and waffles hands down. The drumsticks were the classic with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with paper thin skin and fibrous underneath. At the end, there's a sugar cane for bone to chew out the sweet "marrow". Highly recommend. My wife loves nachos and theirs were a big hit with impossible meat. I was unfortunate not to have been able to sample it. Jalapeño cornbread? Yes please! I believe it's gluten free and it's just a hint of spicy that builds as you eat more and more of it! H bomb burrito was tasty as well but I did not eat it fresh to do it justice. The dragon fruit lemonade was also refreshing and a fan favorite with the kids. On top of a fantastic meal, the owner and staff were just so welcoming. We chatted a bit and found out they opened on March 8th 2020!! Be survive the pandemic and speaks to how good the food is to have the staying power through thick and thin! Support local business and wishing them the best of luck to all future ventures!

I had the vegan ribs which was similar to a meatloaf and very tasty, as well as sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes both of which were absolutely delicious, and topped off with a tasty hunk of cornbread. My friend got the wings which had a sugarcane "bone" (everything here is vegan!) and were some of the best vegan wings I've ever had, with the only possible competition being the wings at Rochester NY's New Ethic Pizzeria. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Also wanted to give a shoutout to the bumping soundtrack of Ashanti and other 90s/00s gems that was playing when we visited.

The food was too-notch!…read more My mom always enjoys getting a Rueben sandwich from here. She loves that it re-heats nicely in the airfryer too! The blasdell smash burger was great. My date loved the patties were seasoned and presented with a great bun that could withhold the burger patties and cheese. (We went to Red Robin a few days ago and the patty wasn't seasoned and the bun came out soggy) My dish was perfection. Mixed Seafood grille on top of rice. Very filling and packed with flavor! Our server, Roxanne, was amazing. I always ask to sit in her section. She brings great service with a great smile. We got there for a late dinner and it was hustling and hustling when we first got there but as we were dining the place slowed down as they neared closing. Parking here can be tough because there are so many stores in the lot. Place is cozy and quaint. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside as there is depth.

The menu has lots of vegetarian options, and many of the desserts are listed as gluten free. The French onion soup broth was delicious, even if the onions were only translucent and not caramelized. The ingredient that did not square with me were the croutons of seeded rye. Maybe a mistake? The color scheme is purple walls with grey baffles. The noise-abatement measures are somewhat nullified by the volume of the overhead speakers playing late 80's/ early 90's British Wave. (Spandau Ballet, anyone?) The waitresses were lovely, and worked well as a team.
