Every single thing we ordered was ridiculous. The meat was packed with flavor, the tortillas tasted fresh, the guacamole was awesome, and the esquite was probably the best I've ever had. Then there were the salsas. The green one had the perfect kick, and the red one was one of those sauces you end up putting on everything because it's that good. I've eaten Mexican food all over, and I even lived in Spanish Harlem in NYC where there are incredible Mexican spots. I can honestly say this was the best Mexican food I've ever had. If you're anywhere near Moorestown and you haven't been to Mi Ranchito yet, you're missing out. We'll definitely be back, and probably way more often than we should.

In the area we used to live in, carnitas was generally served as shredded pork. Here, it was chunks of meat and I was a little anxious that they would be tough. But oh, the meat was so tender! I barely touched it with my fork and it fell apart! I barely had to chew it. I was really only chewing the tortilla. It was flavorful without being too spicy, so the taste of the carnitas could shine through. Honestly, this place is a little unassuming hole in the wall type of place in a weird strip mall that also has a surgery center and a gym in it.
