Was so happy upon returning to CrawDaddy's that they had the peach cobbler as last time they ran out and it was delicious. I started off with the bbq shrimp which was packed full of flavor that after finishing the shrimp I had a second roll just to keep eating the sauce. The stuffed mushrooms were huge and the pimento cheese on top was my favorite part of the dish. I had the fried chicken which was okay favorite. The last time we went my husband's dish looked amazing but lacked flavor so I mentioned this and boy did they add the heat. Overall our friend had the trio dish which was a great was to go getting a sample of a few things and ended up being the best dinner on the table.

I visited the restaurant for the first time on 4/9 with my best friend. The food was delicious. We were so stuffed from appetizers that we took most of our entrees home. For appetizers we ordered seafood gumbo, crawfish and cheese egg rolls, and bbq shrimp. Appetizers great portion and flavorful. For entrees we ordered the shrimp etouffee and the fried catfish platter with the vegetable of the day. Again delicious! The catfish was seasoned very well and crispy, loved it and the shrimp etouffee was flavorful with a hint of spice. I ordered beignets to go with the powdered sugar on the side. Service was great, the hostess was attentive, and the inside of the restaurant was very cute with a hint of New Orleans throughout. I would have loved to meet the chef, he or she did a wonderful job.

Whew this place brings me back to New Orleans! So good! Plus the service was great. It's a nice touch for them to put a little sign with your name on the table and the table was all set up and ready to go (if you make reservations).

I'm so glad we finally came here for dinner last Friday! The interior was much different than I expected- I thought it'd be a super casual place that's more of a takeout (not sure why). But it was really nice/cute there with all the New Orleans decor. Our server was helpful and I appreciated her suggestions. They had this stuffed mushroom appetizer special and it was SO filling and good- LOVED the spice. Chargrilled oysters were absolutely delicious (my husband would have licked the plate if I'd let him lol). I love shrimp n grits so of course I went that. Hubs went with the crawfish ettoufe which he really enjoyed. It was a wonderful meal and we'll def be back!

We have been wanting to come here for a while and we're glad we ended up finally trying it! We went in and it was pretty crowded, they did ask if we had a reservation, but we were able to be seated right away without one. They gave us a bread basket with spiced butter and some olive spread. The olive spread was tasty and the butter was as well, but it would've been better if it was served warm. I had the shrimp poboy and cup of gumbo for dinner and it was amazing! I have a low spice tolerance, so it was a bit spicy, but so flavorful and yummy! My fiancé had the Nola trio which included jambalaya, etouffee, and rice with beans. All three of these dishes were bursting with flavor and absolutely amazing! For dessert, we had the bananas foster and this was tasty as well! We will be back again soon since there are so many other dishes we'd like to try!

After Crawdaddy's Cajun opened up about a mile from my house, it took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to make it in. After a last minute decision and nothing to eat in my house, I finally made it in with my mom. I felt bad because we arrived a little on the later side but there were still two other tables who looked as if they arrived shortly before us. We were greeted by the hostess who also was our server. She was so nice and gladly answered all of our questions about the menu as this was really our first time having Cajun food. The decor was Louisiana and Marco Gras themed and fit vibe of the restaurant. We loved the olive spread that was served with bread before dinner and the Chicken / Andouille Sausage Jambalaya & Crawfish Etouffee were full of flavor. Portion sizes were huge as we both had leftovers at the end of our meal. I was a little disappointed in the greens as they were a little dryer than I'd prefer. There are numerous other items I'd like to try on their menu and our experience was very good, so I'll definitely be back again.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing! We had a party of five and they were extremely accommodating. Wait Staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The most authentic Louisiana style Cajun you will have anywhere in this state!! All the dishes were perfectly cooked and presented. Better than most restaurants we frequent in Baton Rouge. Highly recommend!

First time dining at this place and it was outstanding! I think we ordered half the menu!!! Service was amazing and very accommodating. The food just kept coming out and each was just delicious. We shared most with each other and there were 8 of us so we sampled alot of the menu. The Gumbo was so good I ordered some to go! I had the shrimp and grits, it was delicious! Hidden gem this place is.

Food was very good and authentic Louisiana cuisine the service was also very good the decor was thematic and prominent New Orleans. We had oysters and barbecue shrimp, fried catfish and fried green tomatoes. All winners but the beignets were delicious I can't believe they got them right If you want good Louisiana cooking try them out. Oh and the owner is a gem..

Honestly, it was way too much food for two people, but I wanted to sample everything and I'm glad I did. The seafood was fresh, meaty, and perfectly cooked. Their special sauce was the star of the show rich, garlicky, and at the mild spicy level it had just enough kick to keep every bite exciting without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the seafood. Dipping crab legs into that sauce was pure happiness. The garlic noodles deserve a shoutout too: savory, buttery, and the perfect companion to all the seafood richness. Inside, it's a decent place to meet with friends--spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly you're not walking out smelling like seafood. Service was spot-on, friendly and attentive the whole way through. I enjoyed a cold beer and a mixed drink alongside the meal, and they paired perfectly with all the seafood. Prices aren't bad for what you're getting--seafood is always on the pricier side, but the freshness and portions here make it worthwhile. Definitely a spot I'll be raving about and coming back to again.

Crab Du Jour of Delran is promising - it has a good sized parking lot, a pirate monitoring outside, and mostly booth seating with a shark overhead. It is divided into two - Crab Du Jour and Kanji Noodle Bar. They each get one side of the menu. Do take note of the signs in front when you walk in - they have the current day's lobster price. They do have a Friday night DJ and while the music isn't bad, it is loud. Our waiter announced off the bat he was in training, which was a nice heads up but he did a great job, as did the waiter training him. They both paid as much attention as they could to their tables. The series was definitely the high point. The food was more variable in quality. The hush puppies were good, they definitely would have kept a baying dog quiet. The cheese steak egg rolls were greasy and served with a very sweet sauce that I'm not sure was the best pairing choice. For my entree, I splurged on a whole lobster. I picked garlic butter with mild seasoning, and it came with corn and potatoes. The corn was fresh and juicy. The potatoes, even though I know you shouldn't fill up on potatoes, absorbed the butter well and were well cooked. The lobster was overcooked and it made it hard to get the meat out. My gloves were quickly destroyed and then butter got all over my hands. I ate it, because to honor the lobster and lobster is never not delicious, but it needed a few minutes less.
