And it's definitely worth it, every bite. I started with Pão de Queijo, known simply as a "cheese bread" they are tasty, bite sized, mixtures of Cassava flour and cheese. With my main course, I got a perfect little salad, a refreshing mix of romaine lettuce and a pico-de-gallo-esque, Molho à campanula-like topping of tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, and other goodies. While EVERYTHING on the menu was tempting, I went with Chicken Prato Feito: Boneless chicken breast (that's been marinated in Brazilian herbs and spices), black beans, the freshest and tastiest rice I can remember, perfectly toasted Farofa, and salsa. It's a stunningly good dish for any food truck .... I woulda paid $20 for this at a fancy restaurant. So many flavors, so many textures ... literally the perfect lunch. I can't wait to try the other dishes, from the X-Tudo Cheeseburger, deep fried stuffed pastels, and their famed deep-fried croquettes (Coxinha), and chocolate fudge (Brigadeiro). I recommend tracking them down on the Food Truck League app and seeking them out. On this day, I caught 'em in front of the WCF building in Sandy. I started with their Tsunami Fries: Yummy, crisp, lightly salted French fries covered in a fry-sauce-like Yuzu Aioli, with a spicy garlic Parmesan blend on top. I loved it ... almost too many fries to finish. I also loved their Tokyo Tacos: Double corn tortillas packed with 2 Teriyaki steak "Asian style" street tacos, Asian slaw, sriracha aioli, and topped with cilantro. For both tacos, both were consistent with the same yummy taste. A little sweet, a little savory, the mildest of kicks ... great stuff. Also loved the two pork potstickers that came with the meal. Goes great with their Gyoza dipping sauce. I'll be seeing UMAI on the road again!
