Such a great place to visit--especially on a nice spring day. The food is great and the owner has such a friendly personality. Great variety on the menu. Tell your friends and give it a try!!!

Winner, winner, fusion dinner!! (Or lunch... Or brunch.... Or a snack...)…read more Kotako fuses together all the yumminess of Korean influenced beef, pork, and chicken, adds some sauces and other fixin's and wraps them up Mexican style. And it works. It works really well. In addition to the food being extremely awesome you can expect great service. These guys are insane for customers and make it fun to eat at their truck. They joke around, get loud, celebrate your order AND your tip, and make you want to come back. Something cool they do is have food service gloves for you when you eat the messy tacos. It keeps you clean so you can go back to work without hosing down first. Excited to watch where this truck pops up for the impromptu Kotako Fix.

KOTAKO WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME GIVE YOU THREE STARS?!…read more Alright here we go.. Flavors- on point. The sauces, the seasonings, orgasmic. Meats- chicken or pork or whichever you prefer is well cooked, juicy and tender. Price- I feel like I'm going back to college where I'm broke all over again. It hurts me. 3 tacos for 9 bucks? Sure your flavors are awesome but that's a little steep when you can walk a little ways down to a Mexican stand and get tacos for a buck each. I always leave hungry and end up going to another food truck to fill the emptiness you have left me with. Each taco gives you 2 bites. So for 9 bucks you're saying I'm going to pay $1.50 per bite? Yikes. I'm not bill gates but if I was id buy this truck off you and sell your tacos for 2 bucks each and I'm sure I'd get a lot of business. A lot of reviews are covering the same thing when it comes to prices. When you think of paying over a buck for one bite of food, it makes you step back but when it comes to you guys I like to be a little irresponsible with my money and indulge. Just like your brother truck Cupbop- overpriced for the amount you get but the flavors are there. So the question is do we sacrifice our wallets for good food? Or look elsewhere for something not as tasty but doesn't break the bank? Im loyal so I'm always coming to you guys but maybe you guys should start a punch card.. You know after you spend 100 bucks here you get 10 bucks off bc that's literally what you're going to spend here in no time. Just a suggestion!

No, you probably do not know what a Sonoran Dog is. So no, you don't know if this is authentic or…read morenot. I'm from Tucson. I tried almost every Sonoran Dog offering--restaurant, food truck--in Tucson. Seriously. And have Yelp reviewed and rated them all. Folks, this is the real deal. So what makes a Sonoran Dog? First, the hot dog. bacon wrapped, with the right sized pinto beans, and diced tomatoes and onions. Next, mayo, guac sauce, and sometimes mustard, depending on the vendor. Often served with a grilled pepper. So far, so good. But if you don't have this final ingredient, IT IS NOT A SONORAN DOG! And that is.... ....THE BUN! Sonoran dogs are only Sonoran Dogs if it has the right bun. These are the right buns. Well...I'll say it is 99% the real buns. He gets them shipped in from Phoenix, I believe. Phoenix does not have the best Sonoran Dogs. In Tucson (the first North American city to be named a "Gastronomic Capitol of the World" by UNESCO) *all* Sonoran Dog vendors get their buns from Alejandro's Bakery. Period. *All* of them. And they are a special bun. Long, in which the hot dog actually fits, tapered at each end, fluffy, and ever so slightly sweet. Half of the enjoyment of eating a Sonoran Dog is the bun. And often you end up with a bite or two with no more dawg and it is a pleasure to eat that left-over bun with still a few of the other ingredients in it. With Chipilon style of Sonoran Dog (from a certain Mexico province of the same/similar name?) the bun is toasted on the grill on both sides and there is cheese at the bottom of the bun, which is melted. This is how he serves them. And the toasted bun is the best way to have a Sonoran Dog in my opinion. So I say his buns (from Phoenix) are 99% real because these buns have one end sort of sliced off. But that does not detract from the experience of eating these fine dawgs. The only drawback for me is that these dawgs cost $8.50. But hey, we're in Utah, and he has to import the buns, so that's an extra cost. In Tucson, anyone would balk if the dawg cost more than $3.50. But for me, this is the only game in town. And it's a good one. And he serves his with Duros de harinas (Mexican wagon wheel chips). And tonight I tried a combo that comes with any version of dawg he does plus a "mini quesadilla," which wasn't so "mini" as he stuffs it with a generous amount of cheese and you get three triangles. He's in the Latinos Furniture parking lot on Redwood in West Jordan. In case you use Apple Maps, until they accept the correction I sent them, it is on the east side of Redwood: 7659 S Redwood Rd. His weekly location (if different than Latinos) is on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nanassonoranhotdogs. Even my wife, who doesn't like hot dogs, like Sonoran Dogs and likes these Sonoran Dogs. Check it out! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I was so excited the CML truck was making a stop in our town…read more.. The event was advertised across social media. In a town like Bozeman where seafood options are limited, the hype was real. The truck was supposed to show up at 12:00 pm. By 11:30 am, there was a like wrapped around the brewery the truck was expected to be. Here's the catch...it was almost 40 minutes late. And the guy driving the truck must've been having a bad day because he wasn't very kind either. The rest of the staff were great and super patient with an obviously frustrated crowd. People had been standing in line for a while and started leaving after 12:15pm rolled around. Many of them simply had more important places to be. Thankfully, I decided to order through the mobile app before we showed up. Though, there was still a long wait. After the truck arrived much later than anticipated, they only filled mobile orders for about another 20-30 minutes. As you can imagine, those standing in line since 11:15 am were very upset. Even after the truck arrived late, they waited even longer to get their orders taken. In the midst of all the chaos, we somehow managed to get our food (at 1:40pm). As far as the food goes, here's my honest review: * Lobster Tots: Not great. I used to live in Vegas and would order these all the time. On this occasion, however, it was lackluster. I had maybe 3 claw meat pieces of lobster and that was it. * Maine Lobster Roll: The best thing of the day. I will never wait in a line like this again but it was good. I feel like the roll itself was smaller than it used to be but that seems to be the case with everything these days. * Clam Chowder: It had a good flavor and didn't skimp on the clams. * Red Velvet Whoopie Pie: if you ask my husband, this was the best thing on the menu. It was such a crazy experience and I can't say it was worth our time. If the truck was on time, it maybe would've been.
