Wow. Is this place a mirage? Was I dreaming? In an area that is severely lacking in locally owned…read morefood, this little truck is a breath of fresh air. It has been posted up in front of the Marathon gas station on old 74 for a bit now. If you were driving by you might miss it, but the buzz surrounding it was so much so, that I just had to try them out. The first time I stopped by was around 3pm on my way home and several other people were also in line. The very kind owner instantly greeted me and explained what they had that day. He took my order and they got to work. The people already waiting raved about the place and were super friendly. Everyone, including the staff, chatted and it made the wait go by quick. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the carnitas tacos. The owner had recommended just 2, but I had been accustomed to quite small tacos at other places so I got 4. Boy was he right, they were so packed full of meat that I could barely finish two! The other two made a great second meal at a later time! The corn tortillas were delicious and very authentic. Each succulent and very flavorful meat was topped with onions, cilantro and your choice of green, red, or hot sauce or all of the above. For my first time the owner recommended I try each separately with the hot sauce on the side. Also included was fresh lime and a grilled poblano pepper. Everything was amazing and I can confidently say this is the best authentic tacos I have ever had, anywhere. I cant say I have a favorite sauce because they each have sensational flavor, including the hot sauce. One try and I was hooked. I started following them on Facebook to catch certain days where they had special tacos, such as steak (which cost a tiny bit more due to the quality of the steak meat). The steak was just as amazing. They also serve breakfast. The second time I visited I did not know the extra cost until I received my order. Since it is cash only, I did not have enough. A kind person in line, who also shared the addiction to this spot, gifted me the $2 I was short. I hope to pay this forward in the future at another visit to my magical friendly neighborhood taco dealer! This isnt just great food, its an experience full of great people... who are also observing covid safety despite being outside btw.

Food was delicious with large portions, which you always get at this Don Rigo location in the Amelia Krogers parking lot. Just so you know, families that need a break money wise these days! Check out the back of your Krogers receipt and find discount coupons for this restaurant. All the waiters there are terrific and the food never disappoints with a great lunch menu.

Good service but low quality food…read more My husband deemed it the worst Mexican food he has ever had - and that's saying a lot since he likes Tex-Mex restaurants, in addition to the authentic places. I prefer authentic but usually choose something like street tacos in the chains. The complimentary Chips & Salsa came out immediately and they were ok. The chips were warm and fresh. The salsa was ok. I ordered the Chorizo Tacos. My husband ordered the Chile Poblanos with Shrimp and a beer. Neither one of us liked our meals. My chorizo was flavorless. My husband said his lacked any real flavor and the shrimps were rubbery. He was starving but so turned off by his food he couldn't eat it. We both boxed up our meals and then ended up throwing them away without touching them. My husband said he'd never go back because - as I stated above - "it is the worst Mexican food" he has ever had. The service was quick and with a smile but the food is why we wouldn't return.

Last night will be the last time we stop in for a while, if we ever return…read more This has never been more than a mediocre, at best, experience when eating here. The extra star or two has always been for the great customer service - because that's important too. And the service is still good. Although - they get way too busy for the staff that they have. And while last night we did see a few new staff members - they were not servers or food runners. The service is always fairly quick and is always very friendly and welcoming. But it can't overcome the food. Again - this has always been very mediocre food. But the dining options in Brown County and Clermont County are nowhere near what we had in Hamilton County or can find in Butler and Warren County. The last few times we ate here the food has been inedible. So bad that I've let the entire meal sitting. My meal was so overcooked, gooey and cold a couple of weeks ago that it was nasty. Last night the fish was so overcooked that pieces were impossible to chew. But at least this time it made it to the table while it was still hot. And my husband's bean burrito he ordered last night looked like dog food. The taste was worse than it looked. After taking a few bites my husband said, "I think we're done with this place."

The tacos and enchiladas were authentic and had a home cooked taste…read more Staff was attentive Restaurant was clean.
