Last night will be the last time we stop in for a while, if we ever return. This has never been more than a mediocre, at best, experience when eating here. The extra star or two has always been for the great customer service - because that's important too. And the service is still good. Although - they get way too busy for the staff that they have. And while last night we did see a few new staff members - they were not servers or food runners. The service is always fairly quick and is always very friendly and welcoming. But it can't overcome the food. Again - this has always been very mediocre food. But the dining options in Brown County and Clermont County are nowhere near what we had in Hamilton County or can find in Butler and Warren County. The last few times we ate here the food has been inedible. So bad that I've let the entire meal sitting. My meal was so overcooked, gooey and cold a couple of weeks ago that it was nasty. Last night the fish was so overcooked that pieces were impossible to chew. But at least this time it made it to the table while it was still hot. And my husband's bean burrito he ordered last night looked like dog food. The taste was worse than it looked. I used to love it when they first opened. It was my favorite place. They had the best BIRRIA tacos. I loved it. It was amazing but now I'm down the road. I realize that they're in an extremely inconvenient spot and their parking lot is absolutely terrible and it's actually causing problems within Williamsburg... We tried to go there tonight as they were advertising their soft serve strawberry margarita and couldn't even get in sorry I just think that's absolutely ridiculous.. The last time we were there was over Christmas and they were severely understaffed. They had to comp my sister and her girlfriend's meal. It was the worst BIRRIA I've ever had there and honestly tonight was the first time we tried to come back and I don't know why because we couldn't even get in the door. read more

This is not your traditional Mexican restaurant. It is an old IGA repurposed. To me, the wide open floor plan is a good thing. The place was pretty busy when I got there, but i was seated immediately. There are some Mexican decorations about and Mexican music playing in the background, so it still gives the proper vibe. The food, was outstanding. I had the Fajitas Compadres (I usually get the house specialty fajitas for an even comparison). They didn't come out with traditional sizzle, but the food was hot. I found these fajitas to be very tasty and quite plentiful. Overall a very enjoyable experience and nice addition to Williamsburg. read more

The food is good. We had fajitas, Seafood burrito, and taco fajita salad. Had the guacamole mexicano, it is excellent. Busy Saturday evening, service was long, but not bad. Shared app, margarita, soda, three mains, and fried ice cream $80 including tip. Nice evening out on a blah night. Will eat here again. read more

The chips were fresh and the salsa was in-house made and had a good taste to it not too much cilantro. I had chicken beef and cheese enchiladas with Pico de Gallo, with rice and a side of guacamole. Everything was excellent. I enjoyed the food a little more than the Mexican Places in Amelia. The service was friendly and the food came out 15 minutes after I ordered the food. After growing up in Southern California and having great Mexican food I moved to Crittenden, KY. Initially I couldn't find any good Mexican food around Crittenden, I saw a little sign at the freeway off ramp. I tried it and fell in love with it. A year later they opened a brick and mortar location. The food is fabulous and my wife and I go there on a regular basis.Since that time they have expanded the restaurant. Taste, smell, quantity and quality are the best in Northern Kentucky. Go early, they get very busy. read more

Stumbled upon this Gem on our way to the Cincinnati Fear Fest and was very impressed and left very satisfied! The food was AMAZING! I had the street tacos and my wife had the steak quesadillas and both were very flavorful, tender and juicy and definitely would order again! The rest of the family also enjoyed their meal (sorry I didn't ask what they ordered as I was too busy devouring mine) but everyone talked about how great it was. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Couldn't be any better than this. The chips and salsa hit the table before my butt hit the chair.

The service was lackluster and inattentive. We didn't get a single refill and the waitress seemed to actively ignore us. The food wasn't cooked properly. My chimichanga was barely fried if at all to the point where it was basically just a burrito. The ambiance could be better, but given it is a former grocery store with florescent lighting, they've done a pretty good job. Anything more would be quite costly. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, though I value consistency. I may give it another shot sometime in the future to see if it improves. Before coming here, I'd heard good things. read more
