Queso Fundito con Chorizo. Awesome. Done on a charcoal grill so it's smokey and delicious

A little off the main drag (golden zone) but only by a few blocks. Pulmonia drivers will know it because it's a bit more of a local hangout but still some knowledgeable tourists and snow birds will join in the fun. This place is all open air and right on the street. The grill is big and smokey and fills up your senses better than any John Denver song could hope to achieve. The most fun part is they don't have beverages. It's BYOB. Yep, go ahead and pick up a styrofoam cooler at the convenience store and fill it up with some Pacifico. A lot of people bring a nice bottle of wine. They will happily provide the glassware (and the limes!) The food! Awesome. Smokey. Hot off the grill. Steaks were great. Ribs were even better. My wife enjoyed her chicken. I really think the star of the show was the queso fundito con chorizo. Specfuckingtacular. It's served hot off the grill, bubbling and smokey. The chorizo is unlike any I've had back home. It was rather understated and not overpowering. It's served with fresh and hot tortillas. You basically make cheese tacos that will melt your mind. Since you're a gringo, they will happily bring flour tortillas, but I challenge you to try the corn tortillas. They brought us both kinds (my kids like the flour). It's just a really cool experience for those of you on vacation. Impress your friends with a cool and different experience than the regular joints in the Golden Zone. You can thank me later.

Across the street from Soriana (for those taking a bus). A large brocheta has 7 cubes of meat; a medium brocheta has 5.

I started with Robert's Margarita, a delicious and colorful take on the drink. One of the house specialties is the Chicken Marsala, which I accompanied with pureed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Naan is also good. Simply fantastic flavors in everything. The dessert was phenomenal. A dark chocolate brownie with a caramel sauce and topped with hazelnut ice cream. Again, the combination of textures and flavors will guarantee a clean plate. Agatha's reminds me of some of the better places in Palm Springs, CA. Their cuisine truly sets them apart from restaurants anywhere.

Also the warm beet (betabel) salad with goat cheese and pistachios - fabulous! I don't remember it being warm before, but it was great. The only disappointment was the Camarones Crunchy, which was small chewy shrimp, not crunchy at all, on top of a creamy base. We told the server we had been brought the wrong dish, as the shrimp weren't crunchy. She said, no, that's the dish. A manager came over and said that yes, that was the crunchy shrimp dish. Unbelievable. They did finally take the dish off the bill, but we were disappointed that we didn't get a good shrimp dish. The Robert's Margarita was excellent as usual.
