The customer service was great here, but the food was just OK. I wasn't too impressed with it. I had the chile rellenos and my mom had the pozole. Both were just ok. The rice was a little over cooked and the chile was very oily. I also ordered the horchata and it was a little too grainy for me.

Place is bigger than it looks. It's decoration are lovely and colorful. Small waiting area plus desserts to checkout before getting seated. They have a full bar with a TV As we got settled in at our table. Chips and salsas were placed down and service right away. Food was delicious. We came for breakfast and I can't wait to come back for lunch/dinner. And of course I had to try their churros and I wasn't impressed much.

    Mole Enchiladas were exceptional!

Casa de Lina officially receives a 5 star rating. Having a neighborhood restaurant with this quality of food and friendly service is what dreams are made of! The inside has a home-y feel with sombreros on the walls and Mexican tablecloths. Can't wait to come back!

I've been here four times now and each time I keep saying it's just as delicious! I keep bringing anyone who will join me for amazing Mexican food. This time we ordered the menudo and chilaquiles and also had a guacamole with the chips while we waited. The food was just as delicious as I remembered it the first time! The staff just as friendly and attentive and the timing was just right! (Enough to know it's fresh food but not too long where your wondering what's happening back there) we drank the fresh squeezed lemonade and the cafe de olla. I love that the food is always so authentically tasty and the decore just reminds me of the little decorations I see in my tias houses. If you want to try authentic Mexican food you should stop by and see what they have. I still like everything I've had and will continue to come for the menudo and bring new friends so I can also try their plates lol. This looks like a little hole in the wall restaurant but don't let it deceive you, it opens up to a large dinning area with plenty of space. So bring your friends or come alone, either way, the food won't disappoint!

New favorite Mexican food restaurant. This place is amazing . I've had breakfast and lunch here now and both times I didn't leave a crumb on my plate ! It's also 5 min away from my house!! The Mexican Coffee is the BEST !! I will eventually try everything on the menu lol . The atmosphere is great and you feel very comfortable like it's home .

As a white girl married to a Mexican in another life (lol), I learned about mole' from my first MIL. I was immediately in love with it and shocked that it contained peanut butter & cocoa powder. Let me say that the very first bite of the mole enchiladas here sent me reeling back to her kitchen 40 years ago. YUM The queso was very good, as was the salsa. The warm chips with the queso seemed much fresher than the ones we got with our salsa. Hubby got the chicken fajitas and said they were good, although served differently than most Mexican restaurants now. No showy sizzling plate, just nice hot food. Our service was top notch - very friendly and fast and the frozen margarita was excellent!! No weird neon green here... actually looked and tasted of real lime juice. Ambiance was like being in a Meccan resort town. We came here because of other Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed.

We stopped by for breakfast and I highly recommend this place. Definitely authentic Mexican breakfast! They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa. Salsa has a great kick to it! They do have spicier salsa available if you ask for it. The service was very attentive and wonderful. Ambiance is relaxed! The Huevos rancheros were so tasty and the salsa was also spicy which was great for me. Wish the regular coffee would have been much warmer but other than that a great place to eat ! They do offer tequila as well!

Post pop up taco Tuesday run!

Started out with great hot sauce! Good drinks! I had the chicken enchilada trio and it was great! Service was good and the new addition to the dining room was nice.

My friend said something negative about this restaurant so I wanted to check it out. Lol. I needed to go to the Threading Salon and my Dad needed to eat breakfast so, I told my Dad to get breakfast and order me something. Then when I was done at the threading salon, I would meet him at the restaurant. I waited a bit at the Threading Salon so, when I got to the restaurant I thought my food would be ready but it wasn't?. Just about every table was full and they seem to have help. I'm not sure what was going on? Then I waited some more while in the restaurant. The ladies spoke English and they were really nice. The first batch of chips we got were old and stale. The Hot Sauce had a subtle kick to it. The second batch of Chips were warm and fresh. If you get your order to go, they give you a complimentary Salsa and Chips. I ordered the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. They were two large flower tortillas topped with Sour Cream and a good amount of shredded Chicken. The shredded chicken was bland and the sour cream sauce was just okay. The Beans were very tasty. The Rice liked flavor but, it did have a few peas in it. The visual presentation was spot on. I took half of my lunch home and it was so good! This Restaurant is for everybody. You see the semi young couple on a date and you see the Senior couple on a date, you see the large Hispanic family and you see the hard-working Hispanic laborers chowing down, along with a guy that came from the gym and grabbed his family with him. I really enjoyed the ambience of the Restaurant. There's a lot of detail that grabs your eye. I love the name of this restaurant too. In English it translates to The House of Lina.

Saw Bud Kennedy's review on La Casa and thought we would try it. Wow, it was really good! Very simple interiors, clean and a little cute The chips and salsa were exceptional. The salsa had some heat, but really tasted good, a little like Uncle Julio's, but better. Had their top shelf margarita and loved it. We had the chicken enchiladas verdes and the chile rellenos. Both were very good, the enchilada verdes at Los Asaderos are the best, but these were very good. Enjoyed the food, drinks and friendly service staff. I have read that their food was very authentic interior Mexican. All I know it was great!

Trio Enchiladas with salsa ! Hubbie had this lovely sampler. Delicious. Our favorite was mole. Excellent flavor

Food was amazing and authentic Mexican! Loved the verde salsa. Pork was tender and spicy delicious. I give it a six out of ten in heat. A nine out of ten for street taco. ( I'm picky). Ambiance was casual sweet Mexican home town cafe like going to ABuela's after school. Love it Service was warm welcoming and great

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
