    Green chilaquiles

The food was okay and the menu is limited. I went on a Saturday around 1pm and they offered aguas frescas but then they said they were out of it. I got the traditional green chilaquiles and the tortillas were crispy but the salsa lacked flavor a bit. Also I went with a friend and when it came time to pay they asked if we wanted to split the bill and we said yes but they ended up charging her for the whole thing which is inconvenient bc then I had to send her money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall the place is pretty and aesthetically pleasing but the food sorta lacks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I will start by saying the food is really good but this place has lots of potential. There are some things that I think would be great improving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To start off the plates cups for coffee are so beautiful, I love that they opted for traditional servware.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However I don't understand why there is plastic silverware. I don't think that fits into the aesthetic and just seems off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In addition the wait time is absurd. It would be great to have a system where you can join the waitlist or make reservations to avoid having to wait so long. Overall the food is very good and have no complaints on the quality of menu items.

I tried this place today for brunch with my family. My daughter picked this place because a great past experience with a friend. This place is GREAT! The food was delicious and well presented, the service was prompt and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is beautiful and plates and bowls are all beautiful authentic mexican pottery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered chilaquiles and menudo. OMG! I will tell all my friends about this pl

My husband found this place when shopping for records across the street and hasn't stopped talking about it since then, so we got up early this Sunday morning and headed over there to try to beat the crowds. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a wonderful, welcoming restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hadn't read any of the Yelp comments before we went, but my goodness aren't you people in need of a reality check? We walked in and were greeted and we were early enough to not have a wait. While we stood there waiting to order, I read their sign that basically let's you know that there may be tables available, but they will fill them according to the number of servers/staff available at the time. (I feel like the ones complaining would take the tables if offered and then complain because service was slow.) Once we were seated, we were checked on regularly and our service was impeccable. The food was delicious! Hubby is hooked on their chilaquilles and I had the chorizo con huevos and they were delicious. I wasn't crazy about the potatoes, but I'm that way most places with breakfast potatoes. (For the ones complaining about not having chips so you could eat the beans? They do provide these new things called forks and spoons.) Bottom line. Put on your patient pants on and go enjoy this delicious food, wonderful coffee, and their sweet employees!

Food was amazing and did not taste Tex Mex at all, portions as you can see are huge and they have great agua frescas and coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Breakfast time does get busy so keep that in mind[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but service was great

The manager is rude and hung up on me over trying to order food to go. I have been a customer for nearly a year. She tried to over charge me and after trying to explain that every other time, which is once a week I order from this place has been an amount less for an order of chilaquiles Verdes, and I have a every charge on my bank statement showing the less amount. Highly unprofessional.

I finally got to try this place, and honestly it did not disappoint. Cafe de holla was amazing, aguas frescas delicious. We got Pancakes, chorizo/eggs and flautas plate food was so good specially with the salsa they give you. Service was really good girls had big smiles, very friendly and attentive. I'm so glad I came to give them a try and not just go based on the bad reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is cute, authentic and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]People want this place to be like a chain restaurant and you have to understand it's not, be patient the place is very small and only couple girls working.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Cafe de olla

Figured I would go by to try this place out. The food was good and service was attentive. But the cafe de olla was delicioso.

Beans could've been eaten, but they DON'T let you have chips. Their chips are only used for their chilaquiles! Worst effing answer EVER

Very poor service--not friendly at all. The food was very simple; 3 pancakes for $10 is very expensive.

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

Very chic and trendy great place for photo ops catching up with a friend or having a date night. I had the sirloin fajitas for lunch. We tried the corn and flour tortillas. Waterfall outside for cute photos definitely loved it. The Service was on point. I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
