We literally can't wait to come back. Read on for details... It's a spacious, quiet, comfortable, luxurious two bedroom single story condo with plenty of outdoor space (gated front yard, side yard and gorgeous back yard). The 100% private spa and pool are the highlight, especially considering so many public pools are still closed for COVID. I think I spent a full 8 hours in the water on Sunday?? Given its location and landscaping, part of the pool is always shaded, which is perfect for us fair-skinned gingers. Ginny manages the place and she is a delight. Very personable and friendly. My only notes: -The AC is a wee bit loud. If you're a super light sleeper, bring ear plugs. -No black out curtains. If you need full darkness to sleep in, bring an eye mask. -Linens are typical. Kind of starchy. If you need super soft sheets, bring them with you. (Can you tell one of us has particular sleep needs? ) Final note: this is not a party palace. This IS the perfect spot for a couple or family to come and unwind in a private, safe space.

It's a small B&B, perfect for relaxing. It was just what I was looking for that trip. This trip, I will be bringing my boyfriend, and I love that it's located reasonable close to downtown and other PS entertainment. Travis is a welcoming and engaging host. He's knowledgeable about the area and goings-on, and enjoyable company, if you happen to be hanging around the B&B, for a lazy afternoon. He's also an excellent cook, and breakfast was delicious! I had one of the smaller rooms, and it was very adequate, and the bed, very comfortable. It was a shared bath, and everything is very clean and well maintained, in both the private and common areas. Though I didn't swim in the pool, I had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful and relaxing Hot tub. I'm excited about my next stay, at Casa Cerritos!

I highly recommend Casa Cerritos for your Palm Springs getaways, just do me a favor and leave a few weekends open for me!

The El Rancho Lodge is stuck in the late 50s and 60s…read more There is something so retro, maybe even campy about this place. If you are looking for a sleek modern resort with 1000 thread cotton sheets, designer furniture, workout room, spa and 4 star restaurants, this isn't your place. Enjoy paying your resort fees and valet parking, but don't come here. However, if you want a reasonably inexpensive room (we paid $99/night on Coachella weekend), this is your place. It is 19 rooms that surround a pool and hot tub. The rooms are directly out of "I Love Lucy" with the two twin beds that are put together to make a queen bed. Many of the rooms have full kitchens. The furnishings are old fashion and somewhat tacky. The guest room we stayed in, number 1, was pretty small. We had a third person with us and they were happy to bring in a rollaway for him. There is an individual and noisy air conditioner and heater in each room as well as a ceiling fan. In the small bathroom, they provided pretty good shampoo, soaps, shower caps. There was only a shower with good water pressure thanks to a waterpik showerhead. My one complaint here was there was no fan in the bathroom, only a window to open. So when my friend dropped off the kids at the pool, we had to clear out the place for 30 minutes. Towels are pretty thin. Each room comes with cable tv and a dvd player. The office has a huge selection of DVDs to borrow. There is a contenental breakfast served every morning -- it really isn't much to speak of: fresh fruit, coffee, pre-packaged danishs, granola bars, tea and some juices (one day it was pinapple and Sunny Delight). The clientele was pretty old, but very friendly. Most have been coming here for years. They sit out by the pool have dinner, drinks and sun bathe all day. They leave their room doors open while they are sunbathing. The office manager (who lives at the hotel) is friendly enough. Even the maid was nice and offered to take a picture of us at the hotel. There is even a hotel pet cat in the office that walks around the pool area during the day and night. Pool is not heated and the hot tub very warm, but not scalding hot. You will need a car to drive to downtown Palm Springs..

You can't beat $50 per night in Palm Springs! The pool and hot tub were perfectly clean. The pool is not heated and the hot tub does not have super powerful jets but who cares, it is $50 per night! The hotel is currently "For Sale." I am not sure how this will affect the price once it is sold, but the average price of a hotel in PS is waaay more. It was a little creepy that there was no one on site (no manager, no guests) on Thursday night, but let me tell you, we took advantage of that in the hot tub! ;) WINK WINK! ;) Check out their website for phone number and reservations! Im sorry, Im not sure if they had wi-fi. I didnt bring my laptop because this was a vacation!

We only stayed for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in instructions were sent via email and there's a code to unlock the room. The grounds are very pretty, perfect for a desert wedding or party. There are great views all around and there aren't any neighbors nearby. It looks like they own a lot of acreage nearby. The room we stayed in was the Onyx room. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. There are lots of nice additions in the room to ensure you enjoy staying in from wine glasses, a wine fridge, record player with a record collection, bath salts, star gazing area outside with a mattress, and comfy robes and slippers to use during your stay. If it were warmer, I definitely would've tried out the outdoor tub and shower but it was too cold at night to even think about it. There's also a large community pool in the works. As mentioned earlier, this hotel is about a mile from the NP so it's an excellent choice for anyone going there. It's also not too far from town so you're not too far from stores and cafes. I am definitely planning on staying here again!

Don't worry there is an indoor bathroom as well with an amazing shower. Everything was so well thought out! Each room has a fridge that is stocked up with large bottles of water, k cups, teas, creamers and sugar. They give you plenty of towels. There's also bath salts to use for when you enjoy the outdoor tub. They make sure the check in process is smooth and easy. There's also housekeeping available (free only if you stay 3 nights or more). There is a beautiful common outdoor area with a fire pit, swings and seating. There is also a common area with a large living room that has a microwave. I can't stop singing praises about this place! Sacred Sands absolutely rocked it!

It's hidden in the hills in a residential neighborhood and looked rather small from the outside. But as you enter, it opens up to a very nice, open pool and garden oasis. There aren't many rooms, as it is a more intimate type Resort. All of them are ground level and surround the main pool areas. I stayed in a suite which had a private patio with a stone tub so you can have your own personal mineral bath. The room was very clean, not a lot of amenities, but it did have a small kitchenette and a very cool record player complete with records to play. There are three mineral pools. One is smaller with jets and has a higher temperature than the other two. There's another bigger one that serves as a swimming pool with a lower temperature. And the third one is enclosed with a medium temperature. As you walk further through the garden and down some stone steps, you will reach a small spa that has various rooms for treatments. There is also a dry sauna, showers, and an infrared sauna on the outside. This one was my favorite because the glass doors face the garden. It was very Zen. The massage therapist were very good. Thank you to Landon and Andrew for that. I really appreciated the intimacy of the Resort and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Mel was especially helpful and kind. I left the Resort feeling very relaxed and at peace. I will definitely return.
