Several weeks ago my wife and I spent a few hours on AirBnB picking the perfect home to celebrate my 50th birthday. We booked with Oasis Rentals and today, 3 days before check in they called to let us know the pool would not be usable at our reserved home because they are doing plaster repair. They offered us two other properties as substitutes. Neither of which remotely matched the home we had reserved. They offered us that or a full refund. Nothing for our trouble, no apology, just take this or take off. This trip was very important to me and my friends, and now it's up in smoke with no time to resolve the issue. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere. If you want to feel like just a number then Oasis is for you. If you want to feel taken care of... I would look somewhere else. I guess you can add lying to the list of things oasis property does as well. In deference to their response below, I never raised my voice when we spoke. There was no mention of rolling out any red carpets. When I asked what they could do for me she said "you can take one of the properties we offered or get a full refund " when I said those options didn't do anything for my troubles her response was literally one word "ok". I did use the F word once but not at her. I said it feels like you're telling me to go F myself... and then she hung up on me. Essentially doing just that. Bad value for price. While the Oasis guest services team was attentive, that did not make up for the problems with the property. First, the pool and hot tub heating system was old and broken. For two days of our week stay, the entire system was broken, rendering this only amenity the house offered useless. While we received a complimentary extra day to compensate for the first day without pool and hot tub heat, they refused our (reasonable) request for a day's rental refund for the second day without pool and hot tub heat. In addition the pool and hot tub heating issues, the house did not have a working fireplace, had a kitchen and bathrooms that had not been renovated for decades, lacked enough cooking and eating ware, and had frosted bedroom doors and window shades hat blocked zero light (meaning you woke up at sunrise). The house also came stocked with limited kitchen, dish washing, or laundry items (i.e. trash bags, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent), meaning we had to purchase many of these basic items our own for our stay (the first time we've ever had to do that for a house rental in Palm Springs). At least the bed were comfortable. When paying in excess of $8,800 for a house rental, we expected luxury. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Oasis' owner or manager goes by Michael Oasis Rentals, and on LinkedIn as Michael Graham Kofman he has been MIA after I/we booked a Palm Beach, CA house from him with a deposit. Understand, the agreement was one sided and we had a wedding to go to. My wife was recovering from a serious medical issue and Covid was starting up, we couldn't risk her travel. Reached out to Michael to cancel in a reasonable time, but he was nowhere to I sent numerous emails and call, no response. He hid behind the emails, no texts at that time either. We stayed with Oasis Rentals for an extended weekend (Thursday to Monday). The home was exactly as pictured, clean on arrival, and came with many amenities. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities (e.g. shampoo/conditioner, body wash, body lotion) in each bathroom, and plenty of TP, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc for our group of 7 for the entire stay. City ordinances regarding noise after hours was clearly stated to us before our stay and posted in the home. We loved having the pool and especially the hot tub to relax in. We didn't end up using the fire pit or grill, but having the option was still nice. Would highly recommend staying at an Oasis Rental property and would def stay here again. read more

We rented the "Fairway Modern" property for 4 days for a relaxing couple getaway and had an amazing experience. The house is beautifully decorated with nice quality furniture both inside and outdoors. We had a great time barbecuing by the pool, which is large enough even for some laps and you get a beautiful view of the mountains. There's a beautiful fire pit for outdoor drinks and a fire place inside if people prefer that option. We appreciated the quality products in the bathrooms and nice diffusers from voluspa. It's located next to the Parker hotel and a few minutes from Rancho Mirage so it's very easy to go for dinner and brunch. Also very close to golf and tennis courts. Management is available and responds quickly should you need anything - highly recommended. We'll definitely come back read more

Our family stayed at Morongo Dream for the Memorial Day weekend and we had an amazing time!! The house is located close to downtown Palm Springs and easily accessible to grocery stores and restaurants. The house is beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you need. The heated pool was wonderful and the numerous umbrellas outside allowed for lounging after dips the pool. The Oasis staff was responsive to all your requests and needs without any delay. Update: TERRIBLE ENDING TO THE STAY!!! the pool cleaners arrived during the last morning of our stay while we were packing up m. Disruptive, but we dealt with it. They opened and closed the garage while the back lift gate of our SUV was still open, and they put a deep scratch in that door! We called both the pool company and then the Oasis management: both gave us a very hard time. Finally? The insurance company for Oasis called and denied the claim. The guy was so smug and amused by the whole claim. read more

We've stayed at Oasis Palm Spring properties a number of times and keep coming back because of their beautiful homes and exceptional service. The properties are perfectly maintained, clean, comfortable, stocked with everything you might need. They are always available if you need assistance (TV remotes, anyone?) - by phone or in person, with fast response times. Our last trip was in the midst of the Boeing 737 Max 9 grounding and our return flight was changed multiple times, extending the length of our stay. The Oasis team was terrific and were able to let us extend our checkout time, multiple times, with no additional fees. It was so nice to stay comfortably there instead of at the airport! We rented the Monterey House in November as a group. The house has a great layout and the location is good. Palm Springs is a quiet town, however this property is close to the airport so there is occasional jet noise. Having said that, there were numerous issues right from the start and continuing even after we returned home. First off, we paid extra for the heated pool which didn't work the entire time we were there. The repair person was on-site when we arrived and came back again early the next morning but was unsuccessful in fixing the problem until the last day, their third attempt. I will say that the site manager was very receptive to my texts but it didn't make a difference in fixing the problem. Finally, on the morning of our departure, the pool heater was fixed and we got to enjoy one pleasant swim. Very disappointing. Oasis did refund the heating fee, but it definitely wasn't the fun and pleasurable experience we were looking forward to. Also, the spa heater requires babysitting, since it's on a timer, and even after two hours of pre-heating, the water was only bath water warm. If you're hoping to hop into a nice warm spa after being out for the day, it doesn't work that way. The property has a coded entry, no key, and it's impossible to change the code while you're there. So, the pool repair person and the gardeners all have access to the house/property. This made me feel vulnerable and unsafe and there should be a way to customize the code while you're occupying the property. Finally, after we returned home, one of us was diagnosed by a dermatologist with Spafoliculitus after she broke out in a red, itchy rash. Spafoliculitus is caused by a bacteria in spa water and is not eradicated by pool chemicals. When I brought this to the attention of Oasis Rentals, they never responded. My review of the property on their website was deleted, so anyone considering renting the Monterey House should be warned that there is the potential for being exposed to a harmful bacteria in the spa and Oasis won't 1.) care, 2.) respond, 3.) refund any portion of the rental fee for inconvenience. read more

We booked the Morgan House with our friends which is located in Palm Springs. The house was amazging. Three large master bedrooms, all the restrooms are remodeled and super clean. The kitchen appliances were pretty bew as well. Swimming pool is huge and its water feature (water fountain) makes your experience even more enjoyable. We were incredibly happy with our stay at Casa Pasatiempo! We travelled with a 1 and 3 year old and it was perfect! The place is kept very well and the property managers were readily available for any questions. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come out to Palm Springs! Great things: 1. There are sound alarms on all the sliding doors to the pool which made us very happy and secure with having kids in the house. 2. Laundry works great 3. TVs all have roku so you can stream anything for kids. 4. Pool/jacuzzi is maintained well. 5. Grass area is nice to have to play with kids/dogs. Some observations (not complaints!) 1. A/C works great (nest), but one of the bedrooms (farthest to the right of house) was noticeably warmer than everywhere else. 2. Concrete outside gets very hot!!! There are two umbrellas to use for shade but otherwise it's pretty much in the sun all day. read more

The Morgan House is an outstanding property. Just wow! Nicely situated in relation to downtown, however that is exactly defined in Palm Springs (basically, it was convenient). Two of us stayed a luxurious 10 days with two other adults joining us a few of the nights. We never felt crowded. The pool area is a perfect outdoor hangout with plenty of seating and an excellent view of the mountains. All rooms in the home are decorated in a complementary mid-century design by someone with a talented design eye. The windows completely open up the house, providing such a sense of space. The details were nice, too. Like the bar cart and the skylights that kept the place bathed in light (FYI: there's a tool that allows you to cover them, so no light gets in if that's your thing). Tons of televisions. We hooked up our Apple TV to one. And oh my God are there puzzles, books, games, and records galore! And a record player, too! The WiFi was remarkably fast and strong throughout the house. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of appliances (three coffeemakers), cookware, utensils, cups, glasses, plates, and leftovers from previous guests (e.g., aluminum foil, baggies, trash bags, laundry detergent etc.) so look through the drawers and cabinets before going to the store. The dishwasher was a learning experience--the door pops open about three inches as part of the drying process. It's really kind of cool, but we had to learn that. The property managers let us in remotely (keypad on the door) so there was no mammal-to-mammal contact. The videos they texted as we arrived showing how to turn on the pool waterfall and the additional outdoor lighting were super helpful, especially for a visual learner like me. We had no issues while we were there that required us to contact them, but I got the feeling it wouldn't have been an issue. FYI: A big reason we chose the Morgan House was because one guest has mobility issues and uses a walker. All the showers were step-in, meaning they weren't bathtub-shower combos. All the doors--especially the sliding glass doors--can easily accommodate someone who might need a little extra room to get in and out of the house. The front door would accommodate a wheelchair easily. I know the sliding glass doors off every bedroom and the living room would. Furniture isn't all jammed together so maneuvering through the house is easy. While it's not advertised as an "accessible" home, it does a pretty darn good job of being one. Would we go back? Oh, heck yes. In a heartbeat. read more

Wow! If I could give six stars I would! The home was very clean and well equipped. We appreciated the privacy of high hedges and gated yard. We also liked the covered car port which kept our car out of the blistering sun. The pool was kept clean and perfect size for the whole family, including a Weber BBQ, beautiful patio furniture, and pool floaties. We pulled up to a quaint mid-century modern home, with a well appointed interior and yard. Our grandchildren loved the pool & spa; as did the adults. There are plenty of chaise lounge chairs, a nice fire pit with seating, and even an oversized yard chess board! Our Atomic Garden Airbnb by Oasis Rentals was a phenomenal place. Beautiful home set up for a fun group of people with ample space and amenities. Cool eclectic decor with an open kitchen/living space, pool, hot tub, and outdoor ping pong/pool table made this home the perfect home for our trip to Coachella Valley. Located on a quiet, safe street yet so close to Downtown Palm Springs and everything this beautiful city has to offer. We have rented from Oasis in the past (Germain's Araby Retreat) and are renting again (Ten Palms). We have had great, personable and professional communication with the Property Managers/contacts. I am in charge of our annual Palm Springs "couples retreat," (just six of us, totally mellow, but fun people, more into cooking, beverages, nice dinners, floating in the pool, golfing and shopping). Anyway, I had my choice of other property mgmt companies and I truly like dealing with and working with Oasis the best. (For the record, we rent Airbnbs, VRBOs, etc. several times a year all over w/ extended family and I just like Oasis MUCH better). The house we stayed in before was beautiful and I am anticipating another great stay. Lately I have spoken w/ Eva & Christopher, but not sure who the new contact will be upon arrival, since is is in advance. I just like this company.
