    Carne asada Tacos Regular guacamole&chips

OMFD FINALLY good carne asada! Since coming to Pensacola from San Diego just over a year ago, I have been wildly disappointed(in some cases enraged and disgusted) by the Latin food(ESPECIALLY carne asada) I've eaten here. What a wonderful surprise to find this quaint eatery; tbh I knew I would be happy when I opened the door and was immediately hit by the aromas of heaven. I got the regular carne asada tacos with a side of chips&guacamole. The tortillas were pillow-soft, the meat was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, the chips were super light and crispy- glisteningly fresh out of the oil! The young lady at the register was pleasant/fast&efficient and the food came out very quickly! The only reason I didn't give 5/5 is the food quality could be better: IDK if it was the Avo or tomato that was on its last leg but it made the guac have that weird-almost-spoiled taste; plus browning guac is not super appealing. Also the cut/preparation of the meat left me with an uncomfortable amount of inedible fat. Over all, I will absolutely be back and can't wait for my San Diego-native daughters about this hidden gem!

Graham Cracker Crunch Ice Cream (ate part of mine before taking the photo lol)

Y'all better try the food at this restaurant! The food is awesome and authentic! The service is great as well! If you like ice cream, I recommend trying the graham cracker crunch flavor! It's just like the graham central station flavor in the ice cream stores of Downtown Pensacola!

The Empanadas are cooked to perfection here. I will definitely be coming back to try different items on the menu. It's spacious inside, the workers are very attentive, and the food came out quickly.

My experience was just from the food truck outside of the restaurant. I ordered the tacos de birria. I've only had this one other time in San Diego, and I will say that this place is better purely due to preparation and presentation. The tacos are put together very well, and another reviewer mentioned how it's the perfect cheese to meat ratio and I agree. They make it as you order, so everything was very fresh and hot. It was also worth the $12.99 because it came with four tacos that were generously filled. The biggest downfalls are the flavor and the crunch. The consomé was basic with very little flavor as well. It came with two sauces, a green sauce that was okay and a red sauce that had a hint of heat but not a great taste. I ended up taking the other half home, reheating it over the stove top to get a good crunch, and then using Tapatio because I'm basic I guess. I would come here again to order something different on the menu due to the quality of the food I've had thus far.

**They have moved to 939 North New Warrington Rd** Their steak carne asada tacos are my absolute favorite. My friend got a quesadilla & the portion size was HUGE.

    Huevos Rancheros - Absolutely delicious!

Food is very authentic. The service is good but not outstanding, and the ambiance is like most fast food restaurant.

Great name. Where is this place??…read more If it's in a gas station, there's no indication that a restaurant is inside. Instead, a billion stickers like it's hiding what is really going on inside. If it's next to the gas station, it looked like a closed juice bar. No signs. Just plenty of marijuana odor in the gas station parking lot. Look around - not a place that screams safety and a welcoming atmosphere. If this really IS a restaurant, the owner needs to do a better job letting folks know where it's at. A sign would be nice. Pictures on Yelp and Google would be nice. Not everyone is a local.

My wife saw some pics of their food online and we decided to check out this brand new Mexican spot…read morethat replaced a Jamaican restaurant on 9th Ave. They are having their 'soft opening', still working to change the look of the restaurant, but the food is ready to be served! We sat down, ordered drinks and the owner came to take our order and explain the specials. He told us about the cochinita (slow roasted pork, Yucatan style) and went off to shake up some fresh margarita's. I decided to get the quesadilla and asked if I could sub with the cochinita, which was no problem - the owner said everything is made to order and substitutions are no issue. We strengthened our patience with the delicious chips/salsa (mild, but flavorful) and the food arrived shortly after we finished our first drink. The cochinita was succulent and peppery and all the other dishes on the table looked equally mouthwatering. More drinks and check-ins from the owner, who also brought out some habanero salsa (fire!) and some pickled onions for the tacos. Everything about the meal was good! The food is already top shelf and the owner described how he would be improving the look of the restaurant over time to make it his own and make it appealing to visitors. We will be back for more!
