One of my favorite halal Mexican restaurants! Food is consistently good. I love their steak fajitas, birria tacos, and chicken tacos with mole sauce. Mole sauce is made to order and tastes amazing! Definitely recommend trying the chicken with mole sauce. The owners are always removing and friendly which is always appreciated.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! All of their dishes are so delicious and the birria tacos are my absolute favorite. Their tacos are so juicy, flavorful, and fresh! They are also halal which is amazing and I love coming here. The employees are super kind, quick, friendly, and humorous! The place is clean, limited seating options but their service is so quick, there is never a wait! Would definitely recommend!

A very unassuming place in a strip mall. Chips were very good but salsa seemed very thin and watery. Beverages including water came in cans / bottles. The presentation of all of our dishes was absolutely stunning! Two of us had steak enchiladas. I thought there was too much Verde sauce and it overwhelmed some very good steak. Rice and beans were surprisingly better than expected. One person had the steak tacos. She said they were about average. Would I go back? Maybe. Would it be my first choice for Mexican food? No.

I like the ambiance when you walk in and the music was chill. The food came out pretty fast after ordering. Staff was nice. I will be coming back, it was a good experience.

Best Halal Mexican food I have tried in years. The Birria tacos just melt in your mouth. The chicken flautas absolutely delicious, great portion size for price. My husband loves the steak burrito! *Zabiha Halal* I live in Downtown Chicago and drive to Rolling Meadows almost every weekend for this

You walk into a Mexican themed authentic vibe with latino music playing. The server greeted me at the door and sat me down right away. The owner came in to check in on me as well. The menu is filled with variations from tacos to burritos. I ordered two Birria tacos and one gyros taco with rice and beans. I also ordered the cafe con leche flan. I was happy to see my food come beautifully plated and appetizing. The rice and beans were authentic and were not over cooked. It had a slight seasoning but was good as a side dish. The Birria tacos were good, there was a nice cook on the tortilla, a good amount of beef and was not drenched in the consume. There was grilled cheese and onions and cilantro as well. All in all, it was a nice touch and taste was good. The meat was moist and well seasoned. The gyros taco was bomb; it had a mix of thin sliced gyros, avocado, sour cream and cilantro and onions. It was juicy meat and not too thick. Great quality cuts in the meats. I was greeted later by the owner as he asked about my experience. I told him about adding grilled chicken breast tacos to the menu and he decided to whip one taco up for me this way. The taco was phenomenal and was told they would add it to the menu soon. The grilled char and seasoning made for a great taste. Highly recommended! The chips and salsa were okay but the food was amazing nonetheless. The flan was plated nicely and had layers of moist flan with a coffee flavor. Overall, I had a great experience. They use quality meat and are 100% Zabiha Halal and have their certification sign as well.

Cute place tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Lots of faux greenery and flowers. Very clean and casual, and the owner that waited on us was pleasant. The food was good - the chips were warm, the guacamole was really flavorful, and the quesabirria was delicious. The broth was hot and the quesadilla has a good amount of filling. The only cons are that the menu is pretty small, and there is a service charge for credit cards.

Food is always good here. Portions are pretty big and definitely filling. One of my favorite authentic restaurants. No alcohol is served here

Great local Mexican joint in Rolling Meadows. The steak tacos and burrito were nice and juicy. Full of flavor! The taco dinner had corn tortillas and were wrapped beautifully so they don't get soggy when I get home. The beans are vegetarian so I don't have to worry about lard. The burrito was packed and juicy. Also massive and very filling! We also got a hot and mild salsa. The red salsa was hot and Smokey while the green salsa was mild and had a hint of lime. It's a very CLEAN place and the food was delicious. It's going to be a new regular Mexican spot for me now!

This is not arragera! The meat so big and tough!!

The vibe inside is lowkey but elegant, great for a quiet night out or a new food experience with friends or family. The menu reflects a wide variety of authentic dishes -- some comforting, others bold and new depending on your palate. Pelmeni (dumplings): Very strong in flavor, not what I'm typically used to. The texture might take some getting used to -- I wasn't the biggest fan, but my friend loved it. Plov: So flavorful and hearty -- slightly on the greasy side but still really satisfying. Manty: If you're into juicy, steamed dumplings, this is the move. The spices are deep and warming. Honey Cake: Hands down one of my favorites. Soft, lightly sweet, and melts in your mouth -- definitely a must-try. If you're into exploring lesser-known cuisines or just want a meal that feels like a journey across cultures, Jannat is a beautiful stop. My recent visit to this restaurant was the first visit in over half a year. My last visit was quite a bit ago because I was upset at how poorly resolution was for a missed meal I ordered for one of my co-workers. This recent visit as of tonight will be my final visit. I try to see it through and remain a good patron of businesses I appreciate but good service must exist. Do I expect a business to get it correct all the time? No! But I do expect there to be some semblance of competency, grace and determination to find resolve where error was made. Tonight I placed an order for myself and my gf. I received an automated email response suggesting the order would take between 30-45 minutes, which is totally fine. I figured I'd allow some extra time before arriving. When I get to the restaurant, I'm told my order would be ready in another 15 minutes. While I was slightly upset, I didn't let it bother me. I just went back and sat in my vehicle for about 20 minutes. I came back into the restaurant and waited a few more minutes before being called to get my food. Upon stepping to the counter, the lady looked at the receipt for my food almost confused and said "sorry, there aren't anymore beef patties but I can swap that item with another side" I'm not certain if she was aware or not from the kitchen staff that this item wasn't present but it struck me as odd based on her reaction. More importantly, I'm more than upset now but I handle this situation as calm as can be, by pausing to think about how to respond. I choose a side to replace for lack of the beef patty but can't help but notice the price difference doesn't even align. Shortly after making a decision on item to swap, I ask how long ago did that item sell out today. She replies and says, "it's been sold out since around noon" and at that point I just try not to stare or show emotion. While she did apologize for this mishap, it just didn't go over well with me. The lack of communication prior, struggle to find proper resolution for this incident and the previous one. Do you not have a POS system which updates automatically against your live stock? Or being attentive to detail would have helped and a simple phone call would have sufficed had they known this. Btw, the previous incident was an order they forgot to give to a delivery driver, only to blame that driver. I had to drive to the restaurant to pickup my co-workers meal during a busy work day after they realized they messed up and actually left that meal on the side of one of their counters. This restaurant has pretty good food and options for food in general but that alone won't solve your problems running a business if you screw up and struggle severely with customer service. I've come here more than several times in the past but no longer will that happen.

The sauce is bright and tangy--obviously spicy, but so, so good. And there's really no place similar in this area. Paired with the rice and beans and cabbage helps tone down the spice. Goat Curry - So spicy but so flavorful! The meat is tender and it's addictive. Beef patty - This is different than others, and it seems deep fried where I'm used to baked. Always love a beef patty and our kids enjoyed it. Plantains - Our kids love plantains in whatever form. Plus, these aren't spicy so they eat them all. Mac and Cheese - I'm usually wary of getting mac and cheese for kids because it's bland and watery (my child's words not mine), but THIS mac and cheese was SO good! So much flavor and gooey cheese sauce. Both our kids loved it and said it was delicious. Easy win! Candied Yams - Of all the tasty things, this is probably my least favorite. Everything on the menu is packed with deep, rich flavor. But candied yams are just too sweet for me. I think people who like sweet things will love this, but my preference tends to lean less sweet and more savory. So if you're not huge on sweets either, maybe skip this and go for the other items. The staff here are so nice--we ordered with the high hopes of ox tail (one of the non-spicy items) but they were all sold out! My husband was so disappointed that she took pity on him and just gave him the sauce and bits and bones that were left because they couldn't sell it anyway. It was SO good. Almost better than the first time I remembered it. I could be entirely too full and still want a taste of these ox tails! Please never go out of business or change hands--this place is a gem.

Here's what I ordered: 1) Roti Canai served with Malaysian chicken curry - the curry is unlike Indian curry. This is a typical Malaysian style curry. You take a piece of the crispy yet a little chewy pan fried dough and dipped in this curry broth. I ordered their Falafel bowl, with rice and a bunch of their available options. You are allowed to select 4 and then every topping after that is $1 per topping. This seems a bit extreme as they are NOT generous when adding your selected ingredients. I was expecting a much larger portion, but understand they are a business and have to manage their margins. The food itself was fine. The falafel were just ok, and had been sitting in a container, lacking the crispiness and freshness I am used to normally. For the extra options, everything tasted fine, I just felt skimped on the portions I was given. The highlight for me was the hot sauce that they offer. It was extremely flavorful and had a nice level of heat. I would buy that by the bottle if It was available. I think Falafill is worth a try, but you just have to manage your expectations. They do not come close to the traditional mediterranean restaurants I am used to visiting, but for mall food it's pretty good.
