The food is great, especially the juicy pork and fish. The one thing confuse me every time I go there is the price. Even i order the same dinner plate, the price is changing every time.

My second time coming here, the rice and beans is good and the pork (i get it with skin) is juicy and tender with crispy skin. I get the cucumber side and the acid goes with the fat from the pork. All this with a bottled soda is only $13

My coworkers and I were looking for a spot to eat near a client of ours. We are adventurous with our eats! We wanted to check out this spot that seemed pretty good to some locals. I have had pretty good Dominican food in the past and Caribeno is up there. It's a good lunch spot with a decent amount of options and if you were in the mood for it I would go and check it out. It isn't anything jaw dropping that I would drive a distance to have anytime soon but will definitely be an option whenever I'm in the area. For those who haven't tried Dominican food and are in the area I would say it's safe to say, stop by and you'll enjoy it.

Lots of food options. And friendly staff. But takeout only. Wish there were more than the 2 tiny tables there.

Very good Dominican food. The prices are fair too. Their chicharron is worth getting.

Food was delicious. Not a restaurant there is no table and chairs. There a little corner you can seat and eat. Delicious food

This place is located Ronkonkama in a mall along with Jersey Mikes, Movie Theatre, Lowe's etc. small store front. Inside there are tables setup utilizing the space nicely. Cutely decorated with a taco theme. Orders are taken at the counter and delivered to your table. We ordered the lunch special that included 2 tacos of your choice , rice & beans and a soda for $12.99. I ordered a pork taco and a shrimp Taco. My honey had the beef and cheese and chicken. The pork taco was very tasty and the rice and beans. I didn't like the shrimp taco because the shrimp were tiny and hard. My honey liked both of his tacos. It was a 5-10 minute wait for our order. There was also advertised a corn beef empanadas for St. Patrick's day. However, this seems to be a hot spot. It was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. I think I'll return and do an updated review and try something else. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

Price - ~$75 (appetizer, entree, drink, tip) Food - 2/5 - lacking for the price. Drinks were lacking. Service - 4/5 - friendly and on point. Ambiance - 4/5 - cool vibe inside with rooftop. Overall - 3/5 - did just about everything right except the food. Service was great. Waitress was very friendly, gave recommendations, and fun to have around. Inside of restaurant had a cool vibe and was nice to be in. Rooftop was awesome and the highlight. Unfortunately the food fell short. For the price, it was pretty lacking in taste. Portion were ok but the food was all pretty lackluster. Mussels had curry in them but could barely taste it. Tacos were pretty bland. The drinks barely had alcohol in them? They tasted fine but had 2 drinks and barely felt a thing (I know my tolerance). Unfortunate on the food when it came to here. Likely would not return. I'm Colombian myself so seeing they had a bakery I was thrilled since majority don't. I went inside and no one else was there so i assumed fast service. Unfortunately I was wrong. I made eye contact several times and they proceeded to what they were doing. I of course waited and the gentleman took my order. They did not have buñuelos so I got pan de bono and 2 chicken empanadas with a soda. I had to wait for the empanadas which was fine for freshness. The wait felt longer than needed and more so I was forgotten and they proceeded to do what they were doing. There was several people in the back and looked like they were doing renovations since a ladder was in the front. Just felt very disorganized and lack of recognition that the they were open. While my empanada's were hot but mediocre in taste, my pan de bono was cold and dry. For the wait it would've been nice if that was heated up. Total was $16 for my $3 soda. Overall it felt steep and a waste of money. I was left disappointed and now still looking for a good Colombian bakery with actual good customer service.
