We were greeted by the server who explained the menu and took our drinks order . We had the margaritas which were delicious and I'm very picky about margs. I had shrimp tacos that were outstanding and my wife had the carbonara. The calamari was not good. Very rubbery and no taste. The fajitas weren't bad but there was barely any meat to eat. It was mostly a plate of veggies. If we had known it was going to take 45 minutes (plus?), we would have ordered an appetizer as they don't provide chips or anything. The servers were very nice and apologetic, but I shouldn't have had to ask for a status update first, and if they knew it was taking forever they could have at least offered chips and salsa. The food is very good. I especially liked the piña relleno de mariscos. There mango ice cream was rich and creamy, I order a mango margarita with fresh mango. Then a lime mezcal was strong and refreshing. It's a nice little place with plenty of seats and good music and bathroom. Compared to the hotels the quality of the food and price can't be matched. This is a new place located one block north of John Gray restaurant. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is approximately 100 pesos and includes coffee, a small fruit plate (or juice) and the main course. So far, I have tried the gratin chicken stuffed crêpes with house sauce, and the enchiladas, as breakfast entrées and have also tried their chicken pesto pasta in the evening.
