The absolute best food in PM hands down. These guys can COOK!! We had the pineapple shrimp tacos (I can't remember the exact name) and the chicken tacos with peppers and onions. The shrimp was plentiful, cooked PERFECTLY, it was big, it was seasoned right, and it paired so well with the juicy pineapple and cheese (which was slightly crispy due to being on the flattop but it worked so well). The chicken tacos we had were flavored right, the chicken wasn't over (or under) cooked, it went well with the peppers and onions which were sautéed just right - a little crisp. Was told credit card machine didn't work and they were completely out of beer. Really? Was clear the goal was to get us to spend more & pocket the $. Suspect he overcharged on margaritas. We went to the one across the street with the upstairs open air restaurant. Prolly ate here 4 times during our short visit. The service we received from Adrian was top notch. He was very knowledgeable, comical, and accommodating. The tacos are amazing!! They were so flavorful and tender. One bite just tickled my tastebuds and had me dancing in my seat!! The salsa is yellow, but is mild and delicious. I was expecting red or green, but this yellow didn't disappoint. Surprisingly, the menu also includes Asian fare. We tried the crab Rangoon and spring rolls. Skip the Rangoon and go for a double order of rolls. They were hearty and the flavor profile went well with the tacos. Weird combo, but it worked! The live music was definitely a treat. However, one day the musician interrupted our meal and asked for a tip. I found that to be rude. But it only happened once. After snorkelling for two hours swimming against the waves we were famished! Came to this little taco place after driving around a few times and a quick check on Yelp we decided it would be a safe bet. We were so happy we stopped here for a snack. It actually ended up being an early dinner we were so full! We ordered the fish tacos on corn tortillas, shrimp squid and jalepenoes, beef, green peppers and onions and a beef with spinach, onions. Everything was super fresh and served hot! Portions are very generous and the food is served over top four corn tortillas or three whole wheat ones. We chose corn, they are very filling! We were just looking for a couple of cocktails to wind down the evening, when Adam suggested we try Tacos.com. We explained we weren't really looking for food, he explained they were happy to serve us whatever we were after. And they did. Wonderful margaritas and cold cold beer. Not an upscale restaurant but it is clean and delicious friendly service. My son is a very picky eater but he loved the beef tacos with onion and green salsa (not spicy one) and a fresh coconut! He usually has left overs but at this restaurant he amazingly are 4 tacos all by himself! Prices were very affordable. I do recommend you take small change as they had to go get me change with a large bill and only one meal ordered. Very average tacos for a really high price. We were 1 of only 2 tables at the restaurant. Took about 30 minutes for us to get our drinks (waters & a couple cokes), 1.5 hours to get our tacos, then they forgot one of our plates and it finally showed up 20 minutes later after everyone else finished their food. Menu says they come with 4 tacos, it's really about 2 tacos worth of meat with 4 tortillas. Guacamole and salsas were yummy though! That's the only thing that saved the experience. read more

Hate to give a bad review, but I just have to. Ordered the al pastor tacos and they were terrible. Tacos were extremely salty and tasted like they were a week old. Could order a beer since they lost their license. The price for an order of tacos was 190 pesos WAY to much especially when just three doors down you can get absolutely awesome tacos for 50 pesos for two tacos. We ate here twice on our visit to PM and left both times feeling like we had a meal and an experience! The flavors! The ceviche was fantastic; highly recommend. There are a LOT of tacos on the menu, so deciding which to get was a bit of a challenge. I don't recall the types we all ordered, but all were very good. We had the hibiscus tea drink (I can't recall what it's called), pina colada (which was not the typical daiquiri machine junk that is all too common), and one other non alcoholic drink that I can't recall the name of. All were fantastic. The chef/owner was there both times. The place is small, and welcoming, and it sure seems that the chef is a master of his craft. The dining area is SUPER small, so a big group would probably be a problem. There were 5 of us both times, and it was fine. The service was friendly, and attentive, and even entertaining (something I normally don't expect or desire in waiter service....but in this case, it worked!). Matthew was our server and was super helpful with explaining parts of the menu (he's from NY and speaks english, so that was nice!), and giving us some pointers about the town and things to do on our vacation. When I knew I was making a second trip to the quaint little beach town of Puerto Morelos, I knew there was no way we were going to miss a meal at T@cos.com. Being a patron of this place twice, I can tell you this place is a solid pick. Great service along with a funky tropical half indoor, half outdoor dining area. The walls are adorned with flare, eclectic collectables (mainly cerveza y tequila themed) along with a straw grass roof. Most importantly the food is fantastic and consistently good, no matter what time of year! What kind of taco you want? Mushrooms? Octopus? Shrimp? Crab? Fish? Beef? Pork? Chicken? Lobster? Cheese? Squid? Con Ajo? Con queso? Con salsa? Con cebolla? (Garlic? cheese? Pico de gallo? Onions? They've got at least two pages of taco concoctions. Take your pick. Mix it up. Their suggestion is three or four. I opted for two. Two is filling and you can still move and go do activities instead of taking a siesta afterwards. They make them FRESH for you on the spot. There's a grill in the front and a grill in the back. Deliciousness! Also, their Horchata esta muy increíble! Tastes like everything is made from scratch. It's refreshing and cooling. Generous portions, good value, also have menus in English and staff who speak English if you're not a Spanish speaker. I was craving tacos in Mexico but wanted more authentic ones. This place fit the bill. The décor is sort of what you'd expect for a small beach town nothing exciting, but they do have fans inside to give you some relief from the heat and mosquitos. We left absolutely stuffed but super satisfied as well. The staff was friendly but not pushy about trying to get you to eat there (that's a good sign) if the food can speak for itself and it most certainly did. They also serve breakfast here so if out in the morning and want eggs you can get that here too. If back in Puerto Morelos again I'd certainly return. read more

They have a wide variety of options ranging from tacos, pasta, pizza, and even Asian food. To drink I had the agua de sandia but it wasn't as fresh tasting as I expected. I decided to take a risk and try the pad Thai. The waiter had raving reviews for the chef who lived in Thailand for 5 years and only works on the weekend. The noodle dish was good and also spicy. All are severed either three to an order on flour or four to an order on corn tortillas. We split one entree. We got chicken, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and cheese that was spread across three flour tortillas. It was so delicious and all the ingredients were crisp and flavorful. We went for breakfast/brunch. A group of 6, we were quickly seated and attended. The menu was more than expected and everyone found something to like. The egg & chorizo tacos were the big hit, although everyone liked what they ordered. They kept the chip bowl full and our beverages cold and topped. The only drawback was a drunk American that kept coming to our table to "talk". The kids were fascinated by seeing a drunk in the morning with beer bottles in his pockets. Life lessons?
