After one bite, I found the enchiladas excessively soggy and the beans unappetizing and lacking flavor. The chips were satisfactory. Because I could not reasonably eat the meal, I went to the register and advised the employee that I would pay for the tea but would not be eating the food. Rather than receiving a professional response, another employee became involved and made a dismissive remark to me, stating, "Well, good luck with that." Shortly afterward, the cook/owner came from the kitchen and confronted me in an elevated and confrontational manner, demanding to know what was wrong with the food. When I attempted to calmly explain my concerns, I was interrupted and told, "I've served ALL THESE CUSTOMERS and YOU are the only one complaining." I found the yelling, dismissive comments, and confrontational behavior completely inappropriate. A customer should be able to express dissatisfaction with a meal without being publicly challenged, belittled, or made to feel intimidated. I am not giving a negative review simply because I disliked a meal. Taste is subjective. My concern is the business's handling of a legitimate customer complaint and the lack of professional customer service demonstrated during the interaction. 0/5 for food. 0/5 for customer service. 5/5 for giving me a story to tell.

We saw her once when we came in, once when we ordered, once when she dropped off the drinks and once when we got our food. The rest of the time she was occupied with the seven hombres drinking beer. The dudes kept calling out for her and we had to pry her away from them to get the check and pay. No- we didn't get any refills! When she gave me the cup back, after supposedly taking half of the ice and more lemonade, but it was a little less ice but still not a lot of lemonade. I told her that I was leaving because I was running late. During driving, ate my two tacos and within 6 zips, there was no more lemonade but plenty of ice left. Then came the Mexican Lager, full of fizz, But the flavor? Honest to God - horse piss. Sharp on the nose, rough on the tongue, A cruel joke in a pint-sized stein slung. Last, the Strawberry Blond - a sweet little pour, That smacked of Runtz candy and lab-made decor. Artificial as a neon tan, More chemistry than strawberry jam. Now look, the staff was nice, the space was fine, The outdoor area? A decent time. But you go to a brewery for beer worth the sip, Not a ghostly, soapy, fruit-flavored trip. I wanted to love it - truly, I tried. But each glass left me a little more fried. Two stars for the effort, the charm, and the crew... But next round? We'll be drinking somewhere new.

Sad to say but I was very disappointed! I'm sorry to say that there were only two things good about this restaurant, namely a very pleasant server and the high quality napkins they use. The restaurant was not clean, tables had not been wiped down and the cutlery needed to be cleaned. I had the Artichoke Dip for an appetizer which was just so-so at best and the Korean Beef Bulgogi for the entrée. It was flavorless, the beef was tough; however, the selection of vegetables was interesting but the dipping sauce lacked any punch. Where were the participating owners? They were nowhere to be found and I believe that this was the reason for the lackluster experience. Hope they come back! We really need innovative restaurants that give us more diverse dining choices in Bandera. I will not return until they do!
