    Great selection of pastries

Found this little Bakery / Tamales open Early Mornings! Omg this place has the best Mexican bread and tamales yet. I was in search of a place I could pickup some fresh tamales for my coworkers. This place opens early like 3:30am and they start the production of making tamales fresh and tasty pastries . They also have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and burritos too. If your in the corona area this is definitely the hidden gem.

Great little hidden gem when looking for your concha fix! They sell tamales, sweet bread, sandwiches, hot coffee, atole, and custom cakes! I got the the guava, pumpkin, pineapple, and strawberry empanadas! These are delicious! You gotta try! They open at 4am and they are pretty empty by 10am so get there early! I arrived at 8:45 and this is what they had left. No more atole and limited selection of bread. Enjoy!

I know the owner of this place. She's so friendly Nice and sweet. The bread here is so Good. Cakes are Amazing Good! We been coming to her even before she opened up this business. So we been ordering cakes for more than 20yrs. Not once has she messed up on our order or Anything! Now during seasonal winter she sells tamales and fresh champurado. This place is easy to find right off the 91frwy on Main St across from the corona mall on 3rd St. It's a little place with a table chairs in it. She's done so many cakes for our family party's and best part is cake tasting. Feel free to stop by and place your Order

I think they've shut down. The last 3 times I've been by, they weren't open and no one seemed to be in. Also, no phone service.

I love their tamales and menudo, but make sure to go early because they sell out fast (it's that good).

We absolutely LOVE the white satin vanilla cake with strawberry mousse. It's not too sweet and honestly one of the best cakes we've ever had. Communicated with staff via email and the exchange was delightful. They recommended two options for a smaller version of our original wedding cake and even accommodated a last-minute time change for pickup. Everyone who works there is so on-top of helping anyone in store it was very sweet. There's a reason why this small business has been around for decades! We can't wait for the next milestone we get to celebrate with a cake from Tasteful Cakes.

I'm really disappointed with my experience with Suzie Q's Bakery. I reached out to place a cookie…read moreorder and I confirmed my preference after being given pricing and options. From my perspective, everything was set and moving forward. Fast forward to the week of my event, I followed up to confirm pickup--only to be told there was no order because they "never received my reply." I understand that technical issues can happen, but this left me scrambling last minute to find an alternative for an event I had been planning. While I did receive an apology, I was also told it's "unrealistic" to follow up with customers who don't respond. Unfortunately, in situations like this--especially when it involves custom orders and time-sensitive events--some sort of confirmation system or follow-up would go a long way in preventing exactly this kind of issue. Not to mention I only ordered a dozen of cookies and was still not accommodated after showing I did respond well in advance. Overall, this experience was frustrating and stressful. I can't speak to the quality of the cookies, but from a customer service and communication standpoint, this was very disappointing.

I ate one of the best Pumpkin loaf breads ever - from Suzie Q's Bakery. I know it says on their…read morebusiness profile that they're in Corona - but I lucked out this past weekend when I stopped by their stand they had setup at the Irvine Modern Maker's Mart - over at that plaza where the AMC is, in Woodbridge. Just finished up seeing a movie, and decided to stroll the plaza for food ideas, when I saw the open-air market setup, and checked out the different vendors. Suzie Q had her stand setup near the end of my walk. I was warmly greeted right away as I stepped up to their booth. So many different treats, but what stood out for me was the pumpkin bread - I asked what was inside/what the bread was like. Suzie herself described it as moist (that alone piqued my interest, since I dislike dry breads) - spices, pumpkin. SOLD! Was bummed they didn't have another one - I picked up the last pumpkin loaf ($12). The pumpkin bread itself was DELICIOUS! If you love pumpkin like I do - this is it. The topping/crust has just the right amount of cinnamon-sugar crumbles - sorta like a coffee cake - but the loaf itself... each slice was full of pumpkin. I sliced out thick proportions sorta like a pound cake - and had a slice for with milk for breakfast these past few days. The bread maintained its moisture until the last bite - perfect. There's other goodies at their stand, but nothing that stood out to me since I wanted pumpkin stuff. Suzie shared that she's usually setting up shop at some of the other farmer's markets in the area. You can place an order on her website (she doesn't have a storefront) - but you'd have to make the trek up to Corona to pick your order up.

The variety here is amazing, the quality is consistent, and the prices make it easy to grab a full bag of pastries without breaking the bank. I started with their Original Toast, just $2.99, and was genuinely impressed. It's soft, fluffy, and has a delicate flavor that makes it perfect on its own or with tea. Simple, but done exceptionally well. I also picked up the Cheese Puff Taro, croissants, blueberry bread, and a whole assortment of traditional buns and pastries. Each one had that nostalgic flavor that speaks to Chinese baking -- light, flavorful, and never too sweet. The pork buns in particular were both cheap and delicious, a great savory option among all the sweet treats. Their whole cakes are also worth mentioning -- priced around $25-$30, they're an absolute steal for the size and quality. Whether you're celebrating a birthday or just want something special to take home, this is one of the best values you'll find anywhere. If you're anywhere near Arcadia, BF Bakery & Cafe is a fantastic way to spend your money on pastries -- fresh, flavorful, and rooted in traditional taste. Will definitely be coming back!

I needed to get my cookie fix so I stopped in to see what they have. When you walk in, there is a glass case full of cookies and things, and next to it are shelves that have little bags packaged with treats from the previous day at a discount. The store is small but cozy and has plenty of options. They can even make an ice cream sandwich with their cookies, too! Maybe another time; I just needed something small this time. I was offered a sample of something and chose the Rascal, which is a peanut butter chocolate cookie. That was delicious, so I ordered one and also grabbed one of their discounted treats from the previous day, which was a cranberry orange scone. This is one of my husband's favorite pastries so I was excited to get one for him. It was also delicious! Not at all dry like scones can sometimes be, and it was full of flavor. The woman who helped me was so sweet and so helpful (I'm sorry, I am so bad with names and cannot remember her name!) But I grabbed a business card and shared it at work with our client relations person who likes bringing treats to other people we work with. We will definitely come back, both personally and professionally! I'm always happy to support a small business, and this is a good one!
