We have continued to visit the Corona Airport Café in 2026 and I wanted to provide an update. This is a great weekend spot for families and the like. They have an extensive menu and they can make adjustments if you ask (for example, I asked for egg whites in my scramble). They still make a mean michelada. I've also had their Runway Omelet with bacon, tomatoes, and spinach and it is really yummy. We like to sit out on their patio and they do have mist fans for when the weather gets really hot. The servers are very attentive and I will say that the food comes out lightning quick. If you get a kids meal, don't forget to ask for the accompanying toy . If you walk a bit from the café in a western direction, you will get to a spot where they have a covered area with benches and this is a great spot to watch the airplanes land and take off. It took us a mere 11-years of boycotting before we tried Corona Airport Cafe again. We actually gave them two chances this time around. The reviews had shown that a lot had changed, and Yelpers were trying to tell me that. But could they change our mind? It was still the same basic, old fashioned building, but with minor expansions and some quirky upgrades. I have to say, the interior is cute and clean and their servers are delightful. But more importantly, it seemed they had a different owner. Could this possibly be a game changer? I settled on a Vegetarian Scramble, 2 eggs, with tomato, bell pepper, spinach and mushrooms, sharing the plate with house potatoes and a generous slab of avocado on the side. Deliciously done. I didn't even realize that there was no cheese until writing this review...duh! Yes, it was yummy... I would get this again. Huevos Rancheros. While surprised that the "fried tortillas" were flabby, not crisp, Mr. B decided he enjoyed the meal overall, especially the tasty, homemade Ranchero sauce. The over-easy eggs were nicely done; their refried beans were a success as well. Too bad the home-style potatoes were overcooked and, in some cases, he said they were "burnt". Me, I confess to liking burnt/ well caramelized, so I inherited them. It's true, some of them were harder than hard, but the rest were ok. Curious, we also indulged in sides, i.e. both types of sausage. The patties were delicious, the links were plump. I thought it would be hard to choose between them, but on our second visit (see below), I decided that their brand of sausage link simply was not for me. The taste was off. The coffee came in a huge mug and our server made sure the cup was filled often. Great job! However, I've had better coffee; this one was super thin, brown water both times we visited. I cannot recommend the coffee for serious coffee drinkers. Great multi-grain and seed, wheat toast with plenty of butter. Right up my alley. Also on our second visit, we ordered the Tres Leches pancake combo and chilaquiles with verde sauce. The pancakes were beautiful with a buttery cinnamon sauce, topped with sliced fresh strawberries and whipped cream. This was a nice choice. The chilaquiles had a nicely seasoned verde sauce but the pork chunks themselves were hard and lean. That was a turn off. Mr B also got a side of bacon. It was crisp and super thin. I thought it tasted good, but he did not. And at a $4 charge for two skinny slices, it was not worth it. More bad news. Some of the food, particularly the sausages and the ranchera sauce, came out of the kitchen slightly warmer than room temperature. This happened both visits. On our first visit they were not particularly busy, so it was hard to justify why things cooled down so quickly, even before arriving at our table. The second visit, I ended up sending the cold sausage back and requested they cook it longer. That backfired, because then, the sausage links came back way overdone. I had complained enough that visit, so I just left them uneaten. The sausage did not come home with our leftovers. This little cafe has strengths but also weaknesses, some of which I cannot forgive, like weak coffee and cold food. I cannot agree with others that this is the best Corona has to offer for breakfast. They're good, but we have better, more consistent options. read more

Very nice small and quaint location. It has a smaller menu than the main Corona airport cafe. They do not have table service but do have many options for coffees. The cinnamon roll was very good. Food tasted good and prices fairly reasonable. Although they do not have table service the staff was very attentive and we received our order quickly. Enjoyed listening to the Christian music! Would be nice to to have available handicap parking more easily located. read more

Came here with a friend for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. There's plenty of parking. And if you love watching small planes flying while you eat, this is a good option. There's both inside and outside seating available. We choose to eat outside. On their specials board...garlic mushroom burger! My buddy opted for breakfast and I tried the burger. Unfortunately, the burger was just so-so. We asked for mayo. Our waitress brought us some. On the bill, they charged us $.50 for it. Ha! I'd eat here again. Oh my goodness the secret is out about this place. It was so busy. Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast and clearly church had gotten out Shirley after we had arrived because there wasn't an empty seat in the house and a line around the corner to get in. The service was on point and the food was absolutely amazing. I did have one complaint my bloody. This was a really cool hidden gem in Corona, which also happens to be in the same area as the airport for small aircraft. The interior decor was decorated with aviation theme. The staff was friendly. Kids eat free on Mondays so we got my kid a free pancake and eggs. They even made the pancake Mickey shaped. Overall the food tasted great and I enjoyed it. I got French toast with bacon and eggs scrambled with cheese. There was a decent amount of cheese on the eggs and the butter that went with the French toast was great. My wife got the breakfast burrito and it was massive. I really liked the salsa it came with because it was spicy but not overwhelming. I will definitely come back. The only negative was that for me and my wife (since my kid was free) the bill was over $40. A bit expensive but still I enjoyed it. read more

My husband and I often find ourselves at Airport cafe for a cozy Sunday breakfast or a laid-back lunch---and my tummy would honestly say , they serve some of the best comfort food in town. We finally made it to Corona Airport Cafe and were pleasantly surprised that there's a second location now?! :o But this location is very charming! You can see the small airplanes coming in and out of the airport. There was a bit of a wait when we visited but we were able to be seated as soon as a table was ready for us. We tried the onion rings, lomo saltado, tuna melt, and the kid's lunch - chicken strips with French fries. The kid's menu came with little coloring activity and a small plane toy for them. It was so cute! The food here is delicious! I like the lomo saltado, the onion rings and the French fries were crispy and cooked well. The tuna melt was delicious! The bread was buttered perfectly and it tasted like garlic bread! So good! Even the kid's chicken strips were also decently fried and were a good portion for kids. The service here is immaculate. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us a couple of times. Overall our family had a great time here! Location, location, location! The name says it all. This was a nice place to eat. It was so close to being a 5 star rating but there were a few small things that I couldn't overlook to give it that. But first, I enjoy trying new places. This one caught my attention because it is right by the landing strip of this small airport. The day we went was a midweek morning and it was unusually busy. We noticed the waitress was doing her best but she was busy. She was still friendly and courteous when it was our turn. The menu had a lot to offer! I went with the spicy omelette and that did not disappoint! Very flavorful and not over the top with heat. You must get the homemade salsa though- that made the meal even better. It was delicious and spicy and fresh!! The home style potatoes were good, but came out a bit cool and needed salt. That was a small thing but noticeable. The coffee comes not in a cup but a mug and it was great. Not sure what brand they use but this was quality and tasty. There is plenty of parking and you can watch planes land and take off right from the parking lot. The atmosphere and location were great, the service just a bit slow (maybe because of usually busy) food large portions and very good. The prices were great. Came here for breakfast yesterday with a friend of mine and had the pleasure of having Steph as our server. My friend had the waffles and I had the bonanza biscuits and gravy. Both were delicious! It was our first time at the restaurant so we had no clue what to order. The restaurant overlooks the smaller planes at the airport and inside was cute. Our server, Steph, was beyond helpful and gave her recommendations. She even helped me figure out what eggs I ACTUALLY liked so I ordered them correctly which was great. My friend is pregnant and almost due. Steph was so sweet checking in with us and wishing my friend luck with her delivery. Tried multiple places lomo saltado but this is by far the best with a reasonable price. Would definitely come back. What's better is they also have a stamp card! Regulars get to enjoy 1 meal (i believe of up to ~$13) every 10 stamps! Someone recommended the churro toast. I will come back next time for that! One minor thing though. Please be mindful of what you ask for if you mind extra charges. You will not be told there will be extra charges (the salsa in this case). But we were told about "extra charge" for adding "fried steak" to our biscuit and gravy order. The fried steak was at ~$6 extra charge. Reasonable I'd say, but still, ask if it cost extra if you mind. This is the only reason why its 4 star review. Other than that, keep up the great work. read more

3.5 stars I love a good mom and pop diner. This seems to be a local favorite. So of course, we had to check it out for ourselves! From the start, we felt the warm welcome. The servers came and checked on us frequently. A+ for hospitality. Our coffee mugs were always full and piping hot. Gotta love that! I've tried both the runway omelet and the pancake combo. The runway omelet had great ingredients and flavor, but I think they over did it with the cheese on top. Let's talk about their pancakes. They looked amazing and were generous in portion. The first few bites were great and then I started to notice that it needed more salt to balance out the baking soda. It tasted slightly bitter because of that. Also, the center was a little too gooey for my taste. If you're into butter, there's no shortage of that when they fried up the pancakes. The pancakes were on the greasier side. Just my honest opinion. I still love the vibe and the cozy feel. We'll be back to try something else next time. read more

I seen a flyer for this at my work so I wanted to try it out. Inside is decorated with lots of aviation stuff so that's pretty cool. It's a little cramped inside so just keep that in mind when dining in here. They do have a few outside seating as well. I ordered the chilaquiles and the chorizo and eggs breakfast. The craving for familiarity of diner food . A simple Saturday lounging and lazy morning. We wanted to try somewhere we haven't been and decided on corona airport cafe. A great location for those after game meals for the family or to take the team. Or like us we didn't wanna cook. Quaint interior and a variety of seating areas to fit your preference. It has that small town feel. Great service. Was seated promptly, meals arrived hot in a timely manner. Food was as expected, decent and filled us up. Outside you can watch the planes while you enjoy your meal. They are doing some construction in the area. Hopefully the roads will be complete in the near future for more guests to enjoy a meal. Was heading back to the Coachella valley but wanted to stop somewhere out in corona before dealing with traffic. Wanted to find something more hole in the wall than a major chain. Was not disappointed. I guess I could give it 4.5 if I nitpick. Just from the silverware not being completely clean, and the service was good . They forgot a part of my order, but like I said it's just me nitpicking. Food came out at reasonable time and I enjoyed my plate completely. I got the French toast with strawberry on top, with eggs and fruit. It all hit the spot. Everyone else I was there with enjoyed their food and what I like is their menu and what they have to offer. Meaning I wouldn't mind coming back to try other breakfast items and give their lunch items a try too. Inside it is nice and of course airplane themed since where it's located. As promised! We came back and was blessed with Stephanie as our server again! She truly makes a difference by genuinely caring about her customers and service levels! However, when other people were helping us, their disposition wasn't so cheerful. This time we came for brunch with our eldest! As always, the food was so yummy! We sat in the main room this time. Spacious room, clean and bright. However, the lack of AC or fans made it a bit stuffy, so that hindered the ambiance. The churro french toast were a hot as usual! Definitely no need for syrup! The pancakes as usual... Are fluffy yummy fantabulous! Denver omelette was a bit runny but had a lot of flavor! Coffee kept coming and was hot!!! Woo hoo!
