I have tried a few Salvodorean restaurants. So far all I've tried is their Paltanos Fritos Con Queso Y Crema and their Pupusas Revueltas. I always try the Platanos Fritos con Crema y Queso at any Salvodorean restaurant I go to. Hands down this is the best I've had. The Platanos are soft, moist, and sweet just the way I like them. Okay, so we typically come here because the pupusas are pretty good, but oh how it has changed. Pupusas aren't that great anymore, water is facet water, they didn't have the ensalada (the drink), you guus the CURTIDO!!! it's soo dry now, what happened?? And also they are very stingy with the curtido. The give you a tiny bowl to share, I love curtido and she really didn't give us much. Okay to top it all off, she charged me $27.38 for 6 pupusas and two waters. At first I was like okay prices went up. But my mom was like "so each pupusa is almost $5?". That doesn't seem right. So my mom went back in there, this lady argued with my mom and then my mom asked to see the receipt, because they only give you a transaction receipt of how much you paid. No itemized bill included. She finally showed my mom, this lady charged us for an additional 2 horchatas and a tamarindo. Like whaaaaat? Lol she ended giving my mom a refund of 12-something. Prices are not compatible with the quality of the food. I don't recommend you come here, not only for the over charging and the service, but also because they are not what they used to be and honestly it just tastes like any regular place now. read more

I would give no stars but I can't, the food is nothing special, I have had way better salvadorian food, but what really turned me off about this place is the horrible service and wait time. The young waitress is very rude and and if call in a phone order or take out, they serve the costumers that are sitting down first, be ready to wait upwards of 1 hour to get your food. read more

Very good food! I'm not from the area, and I stopped in to grab some takeout. The place was nice enough inside, and I only waited about 20 minutes or so for the whole order. The queso pupusas were fresh and cheesy, and the vegetarian ejotes rellenos (like chile rellenos, but with green beans instead of a chile) were well-cooked and their sauce had great flavor. I just had dinner at this restaurant (probably my 8-10th time in the past two months) and I can honestly say that this is my favorite local Salvadorian restaurant. I myself am not from el Salvador nor am I an expert in their cuisine, but based on my experience, the food is really good! I recommend the pupusas and the chicken, beef and shrimp plate. I have given 4 stars, but only because they can sometimes be a bit forgetful on the customer service side (which is something you can experience anywhere). Oh FYI, parking can be a bitch! read more

I felt discriminated at this restaurant. I came in with my family around 7:30 pm and there where no booths left only small tables, so I asked the waitress if we could sit down in the other section that was currently closed but had people who were eating there. The waitress said no, not even five minutes later two men came in and she instantly started flirting and when they asked if they could sit in the section where me and my family wanted to sit at she said yes, no hesitation. My family and me were angry and felt discriminated. They don't like to give it to you and some even charge for it! Panes con gallina? Every salvadorian know that they are served with plenty of salsa well to then here if you take them to go the serve a tiny container half filled with the salsa.
