We used Sterling Rose as the limousine service for our wedding. I will give them one star because they dropped off and picked up on time. However, I am overall very disappointed with the service. Our driver was contracted to pick us up after the wedding and take us to a local club. He was paid to be with us until 1am. He dropped us off at 11:30pm. We assumed we could leave our bags in the limo and go into the club to have a few drinks while he waited outside. When we informed the driver of this plan, however, he told us that he was going to leave early and made us take our bags into the club with us. Additionally, there was a pleasant surprise on my credit card the following day. I was quoted for one amount over the phone when I booked the limo, however the final credit card charges were nearly $100 more. I contacted the company's customer service, who did nothing to resolve the matter. I directly contacted the woman, Wendy, with whom I booked our reservation, and she said she "would check into it and get back to me". It has been almost a month and now she is not returning my emails. Please, do not use this service! You will be disappointed! ** Six Months Later: The credit card dispute was never resolved. I did not get my money back. Please do not use this company! ** 12 Months Later: I see that the company owner has replied to me on Yelp. Please note that it took 12 months and a bad review to try to resolve this issue with me. Additionally, the extent of their "contact" with me was a message on Yelp. They should have tried to call me. My phone number has not changed from the original number on the invoice. Further, the claims made in the company's response are not correct - my husband did not dismiss the driver. In fact, we specifically asked the driver if he would stay so we could keep our bags in the car and he told us his time was up. Clearly the driver reported a different story to his employer, but why wouldn't he? And, why would we WANT to bring our bags into to a bar? The claims are ridiculous - please think about this before using this company. read more

Never used their service, never will. Here's why - When a company is a "transportation company", their drivers had better not drive like an ass. I got cut off by one of this company's drivers who clearly had no concern for the rules of the road, or the safety of other motorists. I exited on a freeway offramp which splits into three lane at a traffic light. Pretty simple - the left lane turns left, the right lane turns right, and the center lane can turn right or left, or go straight to get back on the freeway. I was in the center lane, intending to turn left. The Sterling Rose driver was next to me in the left lane. We were both several cars back at the light (5 or so). When the light turned green, I proceeded to go, and went to make my left turn when out of no where, the Sterling Rose driver guns it (driving a big Chevy Suburban), and instead of turning left at the light, nearly clips my front bumper and goes straight, right in front of me, back on to the freeway. Not only did this guy not follow the clearly marked signs indicating which lane should go where, but nearly caused a pretty serious accident. The only reason I even noticed the car was because it looked like a nice ride and noticed the license plate frame and logos on the car. It's too bad because I'm looking for a good limo company to use for my birthday dinner coming up. Won't be these guys! read more

I had a wonderful experience with Sterling Rose for a Bachelorette party in Temecula. Tracy was our driver and he took excellent care of us. He checked on us during our wine tasting, was courteous and lots of fun. The car was super clean and the champagne was yummy. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Tracy! read more

Horrible service. Quoted me a price and gave me a confirmation number. I gave them my credit card and then they called me back saying that they couldnt honor the price they originally quoted me for. Their new price was over $300 more! I dont understand how you can confirm someone your services and then change the price of those services the day before their event. read more

Sterling Rose Transportation provided us transportation from our host hotels to our Wedding venue and then onto the after party. The driver Thuman was great. Everything on time, the guests loved it! Having this transportation was one of the things the guests loved as it took away the caution of watching how much you drank...kept everyone safe! Used them to transport the wedding party from hotel to the wedding venue in a 9 person van. They called a day before to confirm the reservation. The driver showed up 20 minutes early and I received emails with his name and phone number. He was polite and professional. He dropped of the bridesmaids then went back for the groomsmen. My wife and I used Sterling Rose for our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose a wine tasting tour that included lunch at a very nice hill top setting where we were able to enjoy our lunch in private. The limousine service was superb. The driver was on time, johnny on the spot, and very courteous. The limo itself was clean, well kept and very comfortable. We recommended this service to our eldest daughter and she used them for a wine tasting tour to celebrate her 21st birthday. She had a blast! Sterling Rose will not get a star from us! My finance and I hired Sterling Rose for transportation service for our wedding party and guests. We paid an all inclusive price so that we would not have to worry the day of the wedding! Their price was a little higher then we expected to pay but they were a preferred provider for our venue and knew the area. They caused the groom to be 45 minutes late for the wedding and never went back for the wedding guests that were waiting and that they were hired and prepaid to! Then to top off the evening the van that we hired and paid them for refused to make the two trips to and from the venue to transport guests back to their hotel after the reception, leaving my 77 year old father out at 11p and told him and my entire family they would have to find a ride because he was not coming back! The driver was on time and the rate was reasonable. What was the old saying, "you get what you pay for? " The one star was for punctuality, otherwise. ....I was wondering if this guy"Mac" knew where he was going, or was intoxicated? He missed the airport b exit and was swerving around between lanes, while other drivers were honking. I would have told him to pull over and let me out if I weren't catching a flight. I called and complained. I was told that they would talk to him. Not enough.....fire hm. Make certain that you do not use Mac as a driver if you are using this service. Enough said. read more
