    Beef and noodle only pho

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is very appealing and the staff was very friendly and attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was absolutely AMAZING. We recently moved to the area from Houston and have now declared this as our go-to Pho spot. Food, portions, and service was a 10/10 for us.

I walked into this establishment on a Sunday afternoon after my local 5K run. I needed carbs and I needed good carbs. I was perusing Yelp when I found this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered their fine appetizer of fried rolls, which were absolutely amazing especially with that dipping sauce, it was slightly sweet and sour and I rate that five out of five. Their beef noodle soup, a.k.a. beef pho, was so good. They gave a really good portion of thinly sliced beef perfectly cooked in the broth. Broth itself was very rich, tasted as if it was made with years of love and great practice. I added their oyster sauce, and chili sauce, which gave it that extra depth of flavor I was looking for. I was very pleased with this meal. I was very satisfied. It was a very good portion. Service was great. And staff was wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Setting within restaurant has plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Conveniently located in downtown Temple. I highly recommend this place and I will be back!

I heart this place to infinity and beyond.... It's been hard finding legitimate pho and spring rolls with peanut sauce. Their shaking beef is also a must try. An import from Cali worth keeping! Great family run business. Support local.

Rhey beat out a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the Greater Austin area! **Cha Gio (Imperial Egg Rolls)** These are the authentic Vietnamese egg rolls, wrapped in extra crispy rice paper and served with lettuce, a bit of vermicelli, pickles, herbs, and nuoc mam (fish sauce). The filling is a delicious mix of pork, woodear mushrooms, and glass noodles. You won't find this in Austin! **Fishcake Noodle Soup - Bún Chả Cá** Another dish you won't find in Austin. If you love fish cake like I do, this underrated Vietnamese noodle soup is a must-try. The chicken broth base, simmered with tomato, creates a bowl full of umami. **Bun Thit Nuong** The marinated, thinly sliced meat was absolutely delicious, and the vermicelli and vegetables were incredibly fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We spotted the mother (or grandmother) happily cooking in the background while the daughter managed the front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just a heads-up: there's a sign at the entrance noting that they're understaffed. This is a very small, family-run operation, so be patient.

I love getting take out here. The food is really good, well priced, and seasoned to perfection. The portion sizes are really good. I usually order online and pickup. The process is really smooth. My order is always on time. The wings in the appetizer section of the menu is really good! If you want Vietnamese that is tasty and for a good value, this is your place!

I've eaten here several times and every time the food was amazing! The service is fast and friendly, and at each encounter the staff really knew a lot about the menu and was able to answer my questions. As far as authentic Vietnamese cuisine goes this is one of the places in Central Texas that I have had the flavor experience that I had while in Vietnam. The imperial rolls are one of my favs for appetizers. And the rice dishes, never disappoint. This restaurant is great for lunch or dinner whether you choose to dine in or do takeout. This is a culinary treat you don't want to miss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Be sure to stop by La Dalat if your looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and a warm friendly environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a nice family-run Vietnamese restaurant with kind service. I had the chicken pho with extra noodles for an additional $2.50. It was quite bland, especially the chicken. I also do not really think the extra noodle was that extra because I only had a little left over, and I didn't feel like I had eaten much. My friends weren't big fans of the pho either.

Times are hard and everything isn't cheap so I wouldn't want people wasting it. My uncle got the won ton soup and he said it tastes fresh also!!! They also said anyone who doesn't try it is missing out... wish I would have gone with the Vietnamese dishes. Everything tasted fresh. The sauce for the orange chicken had little to no flavor. The cheese puffs were ok, I wouldn't order them again. The egg roll was a little better. Fresh, crunchy and good flavor. The dipping sauce, not so good. The shrimp were super over cooked. Barely had any flavor and the texture was very tough. Crunchy outside shell though. The dumplings were not the best and the dipping sauce also not good. Since my hotel is minutes away, I will come back for some pho and spring rolls

I thought the pho was very good, and this is very impressive coming from me as I have come to learn that I am very selective in my pho preferences. This was miles better than the pho at the other major Vietnamese restaurant in Temple. My friend who is picky with her pho tasted the broth and really liked it as well. I thought the flavour of the broth and noodles was delicious. I had mentally prepared myself to douse sauce on the noodles if I thought the flavour was too bland, but it turned out to be so good. I got the pho with beef meatball and lean brisket. My friend got two spring rolls and two egg rolls. She loved the spring rolls, especially the peanut sauce they came with. The sauce had such a rich flavour. The egg rolls, on the other hand, were a disappointment. One of them had vegetables, while the other looked odd and only had some kind of meat in it. My friend told me not to try it because she knew I wouldn't like it, but I felt it was necessary to give my honest opinion and more comprehensive review. It had meat that did not taste good and was very hard. It almost felt like they made it by mistake. Even though there was music playing, it felt so quiet in the restaurant. The ambience could be improved, but it was very clean and tidy. You can see that this is a family-owned business with kids' toys outside, which reminds me of the memes that say you know that means the food is going to be good when the owner's kid is in the restaurant. I hope they take their reviews into account because I really want their business to thrive! I will be recommending this place to my friends and will definitely return.
